This is their way to stick their foot in the door. The true issue here is that unlike gay or lesbian, homosexual can not be easily undefined as of or relating to the same sex. Gay and lesbian are more cultural words so they can be manipulated. For some time now we've been driving the TQ+ crew crazy by using the exact terminology of homosexuality. They also dislike bisexual because it literally means both or 2 but they have been working with calling it 2 or more genders.

With homosexuality the word itself counters their narrative about genders and spectrums. Language also drives culture so as long as the word exists there will be a cultural understanding that gays are same sex attracted. If they can convince enough people that the word is offensive then everyone is forced into using nebulous and capricious gender based terminology which no one really understands.

Side note is I had a funny opposite experience at a university I attended. The official LGBT space which was run by a paid administrator turned incredibly toxic because the admin was "modernizing" everything to align with x y z national policies. What had been a fun and safe and interesting place became incredibly boring, toxic, and depressing place to be. All of the student staff who had seniority over the admin were now being driven to depression by the new admin because all the policies were being explicitly changed against the will of the student staff and members who showed up.

The one lgb group which the admin had no control over was the GSA because that was a student organization and that group would openly go against the extreme changes. The admin could and did hang job security over the heads of the staff working there so they were forced to go along with whatever the policy was. The GSA was public and openly critical of the admin in certain cases. This caused the admin to be furious that they couldn't create a unified voice with the admin as the clear point of authority. The person was obsessed with being seen as the only authority figure on LGBT+++++ issues on campus. The admin would openly and often talk about how they couldn't wait for 4 or 5 years to pass because then all the students would be graduated out of the campus and there would no longer be anyone left to remember what it was like before that person took over. At that point they could control over the GSA and the staff would stop resenting being treated like shit etc.

I don't actually know how it turned out. I only kept in touch with that center to give support to the people that were being driven into depression.

I'm extremely hesitant to believe stories from people like this. I had an experience in the early 2000s with someone who was part of an online community. I was a moderator in a sense for that community. The person created 2 personas within our group and pretended to be in a relationship with each other. This was unknown to us. Later one of them got cancer and the story evolved into this caretaker sympathy thing. Everyone was concerned.

Short version of the story is the cancer story started to get a bit suspicious. I had the ability to check IP addresses of people on the forum so I did. Both people had the same IP address and I knew they supposedly didn't live together. This prompted moto start gently asking other people if something seemed strange and I was surprised to find that most people had the same thoughts but were too afraid to say anything. Everyone had their own details so when we combined everything it became obvious the person was farming sympathy by faking cancer then death of the fake persona.

Only now am i realizing the crazy similarities between this incident and modern TRA attention seeking.

AND ACTUALLY writing this made me realize something crazy. There is this MtF twitch streamer who has been super annoying and toxic on a popular game recently. Their character has the same name as the one who faked cancer in my old game... Holy shit...

Prediction:

Biden will win. Will re-roll back all executive orders from Obama era which Trump had undone. This includes military issues and more importantly, Title 9. Obviously I don't know the British legal standards here but just from an outside logical standpoint, the case involves what is essentially medical malpractice. Anecdotal point to add. Knew a gay guy who later became MtF. Person was one of the better minded people as far as attitude and could joke around. Knew how bad the surgery was and had no intention of getting it. We were on friendly terms.

Then one day I said "her" boyfriend wasn't straight. Person lost their shit on me and demanding i apologize. I said i wouldn't bring it up anymore but they kept insisting I say out loud that the boyfriend was straight. I said the best I'll say is he is pansexual but I think that somehow made it worse.

Has anyone else noticed how much other ~~trans men~~ (FtMs) will question the validity of the transness of ~~gay trans men~~ (fujoshis)? I feel like FTM subs get posts like that once a week. I never know if they’re genuinely concerned about “transtrenders” or if they’re trying to find others with the same opinion without necessarily getting banned or something. And I’m also weirded out by the amount of ~~straight trans men~~ (lesbians) complaining that they can’t find other ~~straight trans men~~ (lesbians)? There are certainly more of us that are ~~straight~~ (gay) than ~~gay~~ (straight). Idk, it just seems like some of these ~~guys~~ (lesbians on hormones) are homophobic ~~(specifically to us)~~ (specifically to themselves because they can't admit to being lesbians and don't understand why you would need to transition since you were already heterosexual) and ~~won’t own up to it~~ (transitioning into homosexuality threatens their need to transition to avoid their own homophobia). I feel scared to reach out to ~~trans men~~ (FtMs) IRL because I don’t want to hear that kinda shit, not from ~~guys~~ (women) who are ~~trans like me~~ (homophobic lesbians as opposed to autoandrophiles like me).
