I was just thinking about this. They always use this language accompanied by "it's not my job to educate you."

It's interesting that both things are constantly said. They want you to be converted though "education" but they have no coherent ideology so they can't educate you on their religion. It's worse than going to catechism class. At least the Catholics have a somewhat coherent mythology and a system of forgiveness built in if you sin against them.
