The name of this comic ("Assigned Male") is technically anti-intersex, but, I bet the TRA who makes them doesn't care about that!

Also the "trans people can have any genitalia and look like anything" is nonsense. When's the last time you met a "trans man" who was biologically male with a functioning penis? When's the last time you met a "trans woman" with a real vagina & was born female? Exactly.

Don't tell me that I should be open to dating "trans men" because they can "look like anything", when 95% of them don't get "Bottom surgery" and those that do don't even have functional penises. They are female. I am not attracted to females, there is nothing I can do about this. If I could do something about it, I could.

[–]OPPRESSED_REPTILIAN 48 insightful - 2 fun48 insightful - 1 fun49 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I'm not afraid that I see them that way.

I tried to be "open minded." I tried giving them a chance, hell, I even still do. To this day I come across trans people in my hobby groups online (and rarely, IRL) and I NEVER initiate hostility towards them, but nine times out of ten they pretty much always cause problems

I believe the very concept of transgenderism is highly selfish and narcissistic. It is basically the concept of lying about your identity (sex, name, sometimes some of them go further and lie about their nationality, past, or other life details) and usually being very open with the fact that is a fabrication, but expecting people to conform to it and change their lives to convenience you. Demanding what words they can and can't use for you, demanding that they see you a certain way, that you need to consider them as dates or sexual partners, that you need to support them financially.

No other group does this on such a large scale. I look androgynous in real life, it's not uncommon for me to be mistakenly be referred to as female, but I don't believe I have the right to rudely demand that people stop doing it or else they're committing hate crimes against me. Mostly because it really doesn't matter. I can't control how others see me, I can't control how they refer to me, and that's coming from someone who has a very fragile self esteem and is constantly paranoid that everyone is laughing at me.

No one but those who are incredibly narcissistic have the entitlement to pull that off, let alone attempt to flip it to make it seem like people who don't comply are evil and worthless. It's no wonder that most of them are toxic people. The ones that aren't tend to be those who are misguided, coerced into transitioning for one reason or another, and tend to be less grounded in their beliefs (as in, they believe it with less sincerity and usually end up detransitioning)

People keep telling me I can't judge a community based on "a few bad apples. " But it's not a few. When ninety-five percent of your apple orchard is rotting and festering, I think it's time that you reconsidered running an apple farm. Even if you occasionally find one or two unspoiled does not mean you don't have some kind of mass blight infecting all your crops.

That statement is so bizarre to me, because it sounds like it's written from the POV of a person who has never been attracted to another human being. Even if you are bisexual or "pansexual", what exactly does this person think attraction is, and what are we attracted to? I can't think of anyone who seriously thinks "ah yeah, I am SO turned on by the arbitrary non-physical intangible 'identity' you made up for yourself".

It's also a metaphorical slap in the face to those of us who are attracted to the same sex, but not the gender roles associated with that sex. I'm attracted to dicks but I'm not at all into masculinity, what does that make me? Am I "straight" because the guys I would ideally like would be feminine? What the hell.

I've argued with SJW types in the real world. You know what they do? They fall awkwardly silent. The best thing to do, should you come across one, is to play dumb and keep asking questions. Because then you get to watch them realize their arguments unravel before your very eyes and ears. When keyboard warriors don't hide behind a screen there's nothing they can do.

I've seen plenty of people online threaten people with violence for using the wrong pronouns but the worst I've seen it in real life was a very quiet "u-um I'm a... they...". When they have to say it out loud, I think they start to realize how stupid they are.

Because of my abnormally wide hips, I often buy clothes from the women's section in stores (either online or in person)

I am, however, a guy and I have no doubt about that. Penis is definitely present. But you don't see me harassing these store owners, going "WHY IS IT LABELED FOR WOMEN??? GUYS WITH SEXUAL DEVELOPMENT DISORDERS NEED CLOTHES TOO!!! RENAME IT TO "PERSXN WITH WIDE HIPS' CLOTHING"

Like, for real, someone try and explain this to me because I don't get it - I don't have any problem viewing myself as the "outlier." 99.9% if not more, of the population is not like me. I am abnormal. And I've made peace with that, because if I didn't, how would I survive? Recognizing that I'm different and have a disorder is not saying I'm an inferior person. So why don't trans people do the same? What's wrong with admitting that you are an outlier? And if you, a FTM, are so sure you are a "real man" why does it bother you to use a woman's product so much? I am 100% confident in being a guy, and I use women's clothes, women's shampoos, etc. Not once has it made me feel less male (though I don't have a sense of masculinity to begin with, so lol) or like my penis is missing.

The intersex one is, unsurprisingly, completely medically inaccurate and offensive. Most of us ARE male or female, it's insulting AND scientifically wrong to say that, for example, a male with XXY syndrome is not male. And we are NOT "part of the LGBTQ+ community." Intersex people have repeatedly been asked to NOT be included yet trans activists keep doing this shit against our wishes.

This is disturbing because intersex is not an "identity" and it's not trivial language changing. if you teach your kids this shit and they meet someone with an intersex disorder then they will proceed to see them as an "other" and be more likely to discriminate. As well as the fact that the chance a kid with an intersex disorder reads this they're going to feel shit about themselves because the book is telling them they're basically an alien he-she that doesn't belong with men and women. It's gross.

Many create the most eye-wateringly awful "art"

It sounds ridiculous but I swear to fuck there is a "trans art style." Like, I can tell if someone is a trans teenager by looking at their art. It's usually akin to the "CalArts style" (think Steven Universe and similar cartoons, simplified blobby shapes, bean shaped mouths) but a lot more messier, often with scribbly lineart, and features that seem deliberately ugly like massive ears, flushed noses, and droopy eyelids. It's honestly unpleasant to look at.

If you want (many) examples, go to the image generator website Picrew. Picrew is a Japanese language art site for making icon generators, but in 2019 western/American SJW types mass colonized it and filled it with LGBTQ+ propaganda and shitty art. It almost sounds racist of me to say but there's always a clear jump in quality between Japanese/Korean created works and Western/American ones, but I think that's because yes, a low of SJWs are kids.

And as a GNC guy with long hair and paints his nails...? I'm sick of being pushed into the "nonbinary" category. I swear, within the last couple of years there's been a sudden increase in people "theying" GNC people against their will. It never used to happen as bad, sure, maybe 5 years ago I'd get called a "they" out of a person not knowing, but then when I corrected them they'd switch to "he."

Now? It doesn't matter how many times I correct someone, I keep being called "they" and it often feels like a passive aggressive statement because they're telling me because of what I am (visibly androgynous, etc) I must be an "other." Other times it just seems like they don't pay attention enough to remember the 50 times I said I was a guy. Either way, it doesn't feel good.

Not to mention my medical condition (intersex) is also lumped in with "LGBTQIA" (Even though the LGBT is literally anti intersex in every way...) so people probably think I'm one of those annoying snowflakes just because of a genetic defect I can't control. Great.

What these fucking idiots don't understand that Yaoi is NOTHING like reality and it's actually rather discriminatory/sexist, the smaller or more feminine male is always the "bottom" and is often depicted as being abused by the other male. Don't get me wrong, real homosexual relationships aren't happiness and rainbows either (especially if you are a feminine guy) but my point is, the fact that these (usually teenage) girls are reading smut full of rape, abuse, sadomasochism etc and then use it as something to look up to and BECOME disturbs me.

These people truly are scum, as they tend to literally name themselves. The entitlement is insane and it makes me furious that they think intersex people are more recognized and are treated better. IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND. Most people know what trans is, few people know what intersex is, and I've heard stories that healthcare providers prioritize hormone treatment for trans patients who want it over intersex patients who NEED it for their physical health. Intersex people are an actual oppressed minority, and one of our biggest oppressors is trans people.

Intersex individuals (i.e.: individuals with no clear classification of male/female) usually follow in the sexual orientation consistent with their gender identity. This demonstrates that sexual orientation is born out of psychological gender, rather than one’s biological gender.

This is horseshit. 9 times out of 10 intersex people DO have a clear classification of male/female. Klinefelter Syndrome (XXY Male) is one of the most common intersex conditions and NO ONE considers them "third sex" or female.

Intersex people are also far less likely to have a "gender identity" because we don't have the privilege of needing to make up fake "oppression." I am not male because I have a "male gender identity", I am male because I have a clearly developed penis.

That their homosexuality was related to their gender dissatisfaction is supported by the fact that designation of intersex infants as male or female has been shown to work best when the least genital reconstructive surgery is needed; the more masculine the genitalia appears already, the greater the success and satisfaction there will be with a male gender identity, and vice versa with a female gender identity. This is pointed out by Wisnieweski and Migeon when they explain that for patients with congenital micropenis, male sex of rearing was concluded optimal because genital reconstructive surgery is not required with this choice.12 As would be expected, genital surgery plays a large part in undermining the assigned gender of the child, by making them believe that their gender grouping is forced or artificial, thus making them more prone to self-identify with the gender opposite to their rearing. This is supported additionally by the recent work of Reiner and Gearhart13 who demonstrated that genetic males with Cloacal Exstrophy – a condition that leads to severe pelvic malformation and requires extensive surgery – have higher rates of gender dissatisfaction.

Oh look this article is literally advocating for cosmetic, abusive surgery on children. Intersex people don't experience "gender dissatisfaction" because we need invasive and botched genital surgeries, we experience it BECAUSE our society is so hung up on fake bullshit like gender roles and "gender identity" that we feel like, and are treated as, less than human because a lot of us have androgynous traits and thus don't "fit."

I posted a thread there recently in response to a HIGHLY UPVOTED anti-intersex post, basically saying to them, look, this is unacceptable - why do you guys post & enjoy such blatantly discriminatory content? Why must you use our existence to further yourselves at our expense?

And shockingly, I didn't get banned, but within MINUTES of the most I had some random "nonbinary" guilt tripping me and being like "I was born nonbinary, don't you ever say it was a choice!" when I didn't even fucking MENTION anything about it other than "People are trying to use the existence of intersex people to prove nonbinary is good/valid/real, when these two concepts aren't remotely related."

I also got generic dumbfuck comments from people who clearly didn't read the post and don't care like "ur valid honey, intersex people will always be part of this community uwu" after I specifically made a post saying we shouldn't be discussed in a LGBT sub if they can't respect us, let alone the fact that a medical condition is not a goddamn identity, gender, or sexuality.

It really is a weird, brainwashed place. People don't read most posts, they'll just drop a generic "you're valid" comment, which means absolutely nothing and contributes nothing. And if they DO actually read, well then they suddenly get offended over it, especially if you bring up a real issue or concern you'll be accused of bigotry.

Also as an intersex person, they ask what category "intersex" falls under, and the options are "Sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or do not know." NONE OF THE ABOVE, FUCKWITS, it's a MEDICAL CONDITION. In the additional info box I wrote a very long and calm explanation of what intersex is, and how misinformation like their survey can lead to discrimination against intersex people and even legal problems. I hope that whoever's doing this survey pays attention. But we all know they probably won't.

I am aware of their existence, oddly enough, I'm just shockingly still not attracted to them. Nor is this something I can change, and I always say that when TRAs post dumb shit like this - do you really think that if we could choose to be attracted to the opposite sex, that a significant portion of us would jump at the chance? Anyone notice how trans people constantly have to use an abundance of filters or photoshop on dating sites/personal profiles? by Smolders1 in LGBDropTheT

[–]OPPRESSED_REPTILIAN 27 insightful - 2 fun27 insightful - 1 fun28 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I once got banned from a discord server because one of the MTF mods had a really creepy, over-filtered monochrome selfie as a profile pic. This was a couple years back where I was in a very bad mental state and it was enough to make me uncomfortable seeing it pop up all the time, seriously it was like something out of a horror movie and honestly I thought that was the intent/that this user was being edgy.

So I asked politely that it was changed and explained that it was kind of uncanny. MTF mod proceeds to have an e-tantrum complete with crytyping acting like I'm being deliberately offensive, whines about me being "transphobic", and bans me.

It's funny because I posted a pic of myself in that same server before and everyone bitched about how I looked "fake" "like a doll" and accused me of editing in a really rude way.

The good news is that most people who edit/overfilter their selfies are not very good at it, you can usually tell when someone's airbrushed their skin to the uncanny valley or it's the snapchat big eye filter.

The bad news is that some filters are getting better and better at replicating, such as some of those ones who do "gender swap" filters. They're not perfect but you could definitely be fooled at a glance or if you're not looking closely. I think I remember a video of a guy with a convincing "girl filter" on, then it zooms out and reveals he's a dude.

Trans or not you should never hide your appearance. You need to find someone who appreciates you for how you really are and if you avoid that you're asking for trouble.

"Y'all stick vegetables and fists up your hole-"

Woah there, speak for yourself. I sure as hell don't. Using vegetables for penetration is a waste of food (even if I don't like vegetables) and you'd probably do better getting a basic dildo in the long run than constantly buying vegetables to shove up your ass, and fists are too large. Also, I've heard that, vaginally OR anally, fisting has the potential to break one's fingers.

This may come as a shock to straight women but even deplorable bottoms like me with stupid fetishes don't always do all sorts of wacky stuff and insert whatever they find up their ass. Some of us just like dicks, either attached to a man, or in silicone form for solo use. Can't say I'm into dildos on women, though. Being pegged by a female feels like a humiliation thing and I'm definitely not into that.

If this is true I kind of feel like an ass. I always thought he was a pretentious attention-seeking fuckwad. But I can absolutely understand what it's like to be physically gender non conforming (for me that means being intersex, but also extends to having things like gynecomastia or simply just looking more "girly") and how not fitting in with "being a man" can have psychological impact.

However, this isn't the way to go about doing it. Publicly declaring yourself "genderqueer" and demanding that people use "they/them pronouns" for is a step too far I just can't have sympathy for. This negatively affects real people. It's one thing for Sam himself to say "Well I wasn't manly enough, so now I accept myself as a he-she unmanly other" but what he doesn't seem to realize is that he's putting that message on others. He's saying that if you are male and you wear makeup and/or you're gay and/or you want to be a pop singer, or anything along those lines, then you are no longer male. That is a dangerous message to spread when you are a celebrity.

I honestly feel like I'm doing a lot of "damage" just by existing as a feminine, non-stereotypical, non-flamboyant-for-straight-entertainment, male.

It's a win-win. TRAs get angry because I'm feminine/androgynous yet still call myself a guy, and am not a "trans woman" or "nonbinary." They're also mad because I'm intersex and still consider myself male and not some kind of alien third sex (which they use for their "sex isn't real" arguments). Conservatives are mad because I go against "traditional" gender roles. Straight people and other gay people alike are mad because I'm a feminine guy, yet I'm not "submissive" and ditzy, I still have an attitude.

And just about everyone is mad that my femininity is well... natural (as in body shape) and non-forced. If I was female I would probably be called "tomboyish" for wearing dark clothes and liking some "boy stuff."

See, that's the category that pisses everyone off. If you're a hyperfeminine, caricatured MTF or gay man, people are okay with that, because they believe feminine = weak, silly, hysterical, and that you're still conforming to their roles, just by going to the opposite one. (And it's profitable. Funny Hilarious Flamboyant Gay Man is entertaining and makes money. Normal ass androgynous person who doesn't exist to be stunning and dramatic doesn't.)

But if you're in the middle? If you like both "girl things" and "boy things?" If you played with both dolls, dinosaurs, and cars as a kid? If you wear makeup but also have a "masculine" personality (aka, being assertive and standing up for yourself)? That freaks people the fuck out. They see that as a threat because you can't be shoved into a box.

When people criticize and insult me, it basically always boils down to my looks and how "girly" I am. And when someone is visibly upset by the fact that I'm GNC, yet don't fit their expectations (eg: A neckbeard starts throwing a tantrum because I'm a feminine guy but not a submissive pornified "femboi") I feel like my life energy is renewed. I will feed off their tears and I will use it to continue being an androgynous trouble-maker. There's no stopping it.

Gross. And he wants to make the third gender "X" marker a thing; which is directly harmful to intersex people. Because as long as it exists, it won't just be "nonbinary" people self-identifying with it - it will be used to mark visibly intersex children at birth as "others" or "its", which is a horrible way to grow up. Hell even some people want to raise non-intersex kids as "neutral", which imo, is a form of child abuse.

As someone who has lived my whole life being thrown into an "other" category I fail to see how it's positive in any way. There is no justification to having a third sex/gender marker.

I have mixed sex characteristics, I would never expect bi people to be into me/people like me. Or anyone, for that matter. I can recognize I'm an outlier and that dating is hard for me, even without all the other issues like how I don't form connections/trust easily. If I can recognize and be okay with this, why the fuck is it so hard for trans people? Especially when, unlike me, they CHOSE to be trans, their mixed sex characteristics are ARTIFICIAL and more glaring than someone like me. They consented to looking like that, to ending up that way, so why do they think it's some conspiracy against them that the number of people who are willing to date them drops considerably?

If they really want a date so bad they can choose not to transition and not to have mixed sex characteristics. Again, a choice that some of us don't have. I can't make my wide hips go away, I can't stop looking "girly" and thus not be attractive to a large percentage of people who are into males, but a trans person absolutely can choose to stop wearing ill-fitting crossdress and not get bad plastic surgery.

I understand if it's a child or an elderly person or a very ill person, and it just makes them feel better to pretend, the way we tell people they don't look fat in that outfit or their singing voice is just fine. Little white lies to spare someone's feelings.

I would have to disagree even with those "minor" lies. For a period of my life when I was young I was showered with compliments, being told I was special, intelligent, "gifted", "tall for my age", and good at what I did. But that soon faded, I stopped being the favorite, and I found out the hard way that it was never true anyway. It was a pretty bad experience that fucked up my self esteem permanently.

Context matters, of course, but I don't think I could do that to my child (if I had one.) There's a difference between, say, telling a kid about Santa or something innocent like that, or telling them that they're perfect and that the world is all happiness and rainbows... only for them to later have that illusion shattered. Young or not, I think people need to know if they're not good at something (in a gentle way, of course) because it's not bad to not be perfect - and it should be a way to encourage improvement.

The same applies to gender, especially "trans kids." If you tell your son that he's actually a girl because he likes Barbies and playing dress up, you might THINK you're being "progressive", but actually you're probably gonna screw him up for life, and he too will probably undergo a period of crushing realization.

For a long time I've been in favor of honesty, even if it can sting. Even if it makes some people like me seem hostile or inflammatory, I still think there is little purpose to hide the truth in order to protect feelings alone.

It's because people with narcissistic personalities tend to be more likely to sexually violate others due to genuinely not being able to care or respect boundaries or think of anyone but themselves.

Not every man who has sexually harassed or mistreated me was trans, but 100% of them showed clear signs of narcissism, such as being unable to admit they are wrong, unable to see that they are hurting other people, flipping the situation and making it out like THEY are the victim and YOU are the bad one, for example.

Transgenderism is very much a narcissistic thing, their whole movement is about getting others to pander to them, effectively worship them, and play along with THEIR version of reality.

I'd like to see them argue that it's totally safe, not a health risk, and "reversible." See how that goes.

But as usual TRAs pretend intersex conditions don't exist, or that they only exist when 1. It's a "hermaphrodite" fetish fantasy and 2. They can use it to "prove there is no sex/there are multiple genders" so I don't see this happening.

Lacking puberty is bad even when it happens "naturally" due to disorders of sexual development. When induced by artifical and largely untested drugs I can only imagine how more damage it could do.

God, thats me though. Like, I hate being alone, I WANT to be in love with someone, but I am not. And trying to picture myself in a romantic relationship with random, generic men or women is not appealing.

If only someone had told me sooner, that I was indeed a special VALID UWU snowflake, and not a person with severe trust issues and a possible underdeveloped sexuality...!

Wow, lesbians are now adopting the "only masculine gay men are men and tops, only feminine males are bottoms and not real men" shit now, too? Fuck off with your sexist bullshit. Masculine men can get dicked if they want to and feminine males can top if they want to ,the same applies to lesbians. Go eat your strapon smh

"Mx" has been around for a while, unforunately. It's not a pronoun though, so, OP is a dumb. Also, adding random Xs to shit doesn't make it "gender neutral" & in most cases it's confusing for non-English people... and often English people too.

OP calls cis men shitty for not a single one joining their GSA college club; they as a transman feel entitled to straight male members because they’re “inclusive to cis men” by Literallyawoman in LGBDropTheT

Regardless of whether the leader was trans, I wouldn't join a GSA club period. Even if it was run by real gay men. Because -

  1. Not all of us are "out" and want to be, some are secret and content that way.
  2. Not all of us use our sexuality as a defining personality trait
  3. Not all of us find sexuality interesting and something worth bonding over
  4. Not all of us support "pride" and LGBT movements
  5. Why go to that when I can go to a club that's actually fun and productive?

I will respect your name and pronouns

Don't even do that. Not only are you validating their delusions by doing so, you are implying to other people in the vicinity that you see them as "real" men/women, and/or that you support their actions. The only way we can hope for change is enough people stand up and vocally announce that they don't buy into it.

I'm a straight gay man. I don't like drag race or going to Pride or (insert 500 other stereotypes here) so I MUST be straight, but I also like sucking dick.

This shit is why I don't feel bad for male porn stars. Female porn stars are often unwilling victims and I usually have sympathy for them, but male porn stars keep doing shit like this that makes it very hard for me to believe they are a victim. Saying dumb shit like this just reeks of privilege.

I mean I can't deny I'm girly as fuck and don't "feel like a man" but that ain't a Gay Thing. That's a Fucked Chromosomes and Hormones Since Birth thing. Most gay men that I've seen are very masculine... hence why I don't feel like I fit in the gay community. That guy is extra dumb and probably hasn't been anywhere near gay communities lol

Because they are gay men using gay male terms... lol. I have seen a couple of lesbians use "top/bottom", but usually because they get it mixed up with "dominant/submissive." Top/bottom and dom/sub are two completely different things, however.

It's infuriating as a non native English speaker. English is bullshit enough. But there are no neutral pronouns in my language and hell, even first person writing is gendered. I literally cannot tell whether "they" is singular or plural unless it is EXTREMELY CLEAR about the context, but I've made serious fuckups in the past because I assumed "they" was talking about a group when someone was just using it for me as singular, so... I ended up getting other people involved with something that I then got yelled at because I was supposed to do it alone, but I didn't know because they referred to me as "they" in the context of being around others.

Also, it's doubly shitty how I keep getting called "they" despite never, NEVER being coy about being male. Yes I look like a freak in real life and have "girly" interests that show online, yes I consider myself an outlier, no that doesn't mean you get to decide that I'm "nonbinary" and refer to me with confusing terms that my dumb bilingual brain can't keep up with.

As much as I like dicks sexually, I'm pretty sure MTF dicks are the least "adorable" there is. Dick attached to a raging narcissist full of hate is never quality. Same reason I avoid "tops" like the plague and don't use dumpster fires like Grindr.

They say "don't stick your dick in crazy", but the reverse also applies. Don't go near the dick of a narcissist, it's never work it and they're so full of themselves they won't be good at using them either.

What the FUCK?!

This is unbelievable. "Mutant?!" Conflating "gender identity" with physiology despite that going against the very trans argument in the first place?

Fucking hell. I'm not male because I have a "male gender identity." Quite the opposite, I don't "identify" as anything and I'm more "feminine" according to most standards. I'm male because I have a penis, or, to reword, I am phenotypically male.
