It looks like an USA thing, as I've noticed that a lot of people from there who are interested in politics at least slightly (but not making an effort to understand about it deeply) are either "everyone I disagree is marxists with marxist ideology" or "it is all capitalism fault, and capitalistic monopolies". And often they are calling the same people with those two different names. For example, one channel "Unsafe Space" is calling "California are full on maxism with communist leaders", and at the same time (forgot the name) channel is calling California "it is what is happening when capitalism is not supervised, they are monopolizing even identities". And they both making very little sense - because both marxism and capitalism are based on physical reality and saying that everything is real and exploitable - while "gender identity politics" and gender theory are all about some inner subjective feelings and has nothing to do with biology or objective reality, all in your head (so it can't be neither marxism nor capitalism).

I guess it is because their political system is very bipolar, with monopoly on power for centuries of two parties, and nowadays seems sides are strongly radicalizing.
