Otherwise it has no bearing on us because of rule 2, and the entire thread will just turn into everyone breaking rule 3.

You're welcome to repost with a little more information of your thoughts and the correlation.

Last time I tried it, either AHS or the Masstagger subs had pictures of a couple "transphobic" accounts on Twitter, so I installed the extension and went to those Twitter accounts, and nothing changed for me. Still black text for their user names instead of red.

Do I need to tag a user first, and then the floodgates open maybe?

No need to add it at all. RES (Reddit Enhancement Suite) is only for Reddit, and adds a ton of features and usability to the Reddit user experience. However, mods have to implement specific CSS to make sure subs are usable with all those features. SaidIt tried to do a port of the browser extension in the early days, but it's not working correctly, and will actually overwrite any RES settings.

The good thing though is that SaidIt has actually added some of the RES features into this site natively. For example, dark mode/night mode. Users of New Reddit have dark mode, but then you have to use New Reddit, ugh. Users of Old Reddit don't get the option for dark mode at all, and instead have to use RES.

Anyway, enough about that, haha.

For flairs, it sounds like you're doing it right, and maybe either your internet connection or the site here was lagging. It should eventually stop showing "submitting" and refresh to look like this: https://imgur.com/a/RZHeEDq

If you told LGB people 10 years ago that gay marriage would lead to a world of male lesbians and penis-in-vagina being considered gay sex, they would have rejected it.

I don't believe gay marriage was the cause, but I do see how once gay marriage was legal, everything shifted and TQ+ started ramping up.

I can't comment on whether LGB would have rejected it though, knowing then what we know now. As an unmarried person who doesn't ever plan to do so, I don't think I'm quite qualified :)

I think LGB Alliance really shook things up, and now that they're a proper charity, the tides are turning. Media and lawmakers are starting to notice the shit-flinging that TQ+ orgs are doing, especially since they're getting loose and sloppy with it now.

They may not have opened their eyes to the full extent of what's gone on over the past decade, but it seems like people are beginning to ask themselves "why does everyone seem to hate this LGB charity, what's going on here?". Whereas before, they figured we were all just one big family bickering among ourselves.

I'm enjoying these "experiences" being shared by "working class queers":

Daisy, 18: “Freedom of gender is usually sold to us in the form of middle-class cisgender men/women in non-conventional clothing”. This shows that if we do not see representations of queer working-class people we start to believe they do not exist.

Khaleel, 21: “Conversations around queerness were never had in my area,”

You know why "queer working-class people" don't exist? Because regardless of our sexuality, the actual working class doesn't give 2 shits about this nonsense.

Rent is due, we've got bills to pay and mouths to feed, our trainers/sneakers are held together with prayers and Shoe Goo until next month's paycheck, and we're worried that our POS car might break down again and we won't be able to get to work. We don't have the luxury of being concerned about whether our clothing choice accurately reflects our personal corporate brand identity to anyone else.

To all our UK friends, I hope for your sake that this doesn't go through... this nonsense already passed for us in California, but at least it's not federal:

RECORDING GENDER
birth certificates, passports and driving licenses, along with all forms of identification ... the option to select an "X" gender marker

It's makes no fucking sense at all that legal IDENTIFICATION is being allowed to go off of what's in someone's head. If a LEO is chasing a suspect, how are they supposed to communicate to other LEOs who to look for? "A white suspect of indeterminate gender identity, approximately 5'4"-5'8", 150 lbs, green shoulder-length hair". And healthcare, how are doctors supposed to treat "non-binary" ailments and illnesses that are male/female specific? "Patient X, I'm afraid you have testicular cancer and we'll need to remove your scrotum. I can recommend you to a support group for male, I mean assigned male, oops, um ... gender non-specific cancer survivors". Ridiculous.

Also, can anyone explain what the "spousal veto" thing in the FAMILIES AND MARRIAGE section is all about? I don't get it. I found this explanation of what it means, and I don't see a problem here?

Consequently, where one party transitions, the non-trans party must give their consent to the change of marriage status before a full GRC can be issued. If such consent is withheld, the marriage must be dissolved by divorce or annulled before a full GRC can be issued.

If someone doesn't want to be in a so-called "same sex" marriage with a transitioning person, then yes, they should have every right to say so. It's not like the trans person can't still transition, it just means the marriage is over if they do. Actions have consequences, who woulda thunk.

We need shelter on a website that can't be taken offline by its bank, server host, Cloudflare, professional trolls, lobbying groups, threats to the site owner or their family, politicians, etc.

The only people I can think who have that type of ironclad site hosting aren't anybody DroptheT wants to associate with

Exactly.

Believe me, we've thought about it too ... the alternatives that exist would reflect negatively on us and our goals, if we were even allowed to be there at all. We're already called nazi sympathizers and puppets/socks of the alt-right. Do we really want to cement that opinion?

Also, sidenote about .win ... it's my understanding that we would still be required to host our own instance of a .win community. And then if the creator of https://communities.win were so inclined, we could be added to their sidebar roster, but no one has been added there for quite some time. I think IP2 or maybe KiA2 were the last ones added, and that was 10 months ago or so.

There's a thread on Kiwi Farms about all sorts of trans people in general, and this user is in it.

And someone there said nearly the exact same thing, that they really hoped it was a TERF behind the account saying all the worst things just to see how far Reddit will go to support it.

I took one for the team and watched.

I'm not familiar with what "Salad Fingers" is as a series or genre or whatever ... but this particular video is an animation. It's creepy and disturbing, demonstrating the insanity of the mind of a violent psychopath, but no gore (unless you count cartoon blood).

I like how they brought our SaidIt sub into it, as if that's somehow evidence of us being this little fringe movement.

(Also, hello stalkers! Looks like you didn't get rid of us after all!)

Sure, we're small here, but we started out small on Reddit too. In 16 months, we went from 0 to 23K users.

r/LGBT has been around for 13 years with 729K users. While that gives them an average of 56K each year, more than us ... lesser doesn't mean insignificant.

We were HALF of what they are, even with their hundreds of identities and inclusiveness bringing in non-LGBT members to falsely inflate numbers. I'd be very curious to see their subscriber count if they removed everything after the T.

This is so creepy, I'd love to hear the mom's side of it too.

I mean, even IF she was the trashiest most obnoxious mom in the world ... THAT'S HER KID. If you're concerned about a child's safety, alert the authorities, don't get in-between them and block their access to each other like a kidnapper.

I was just re-reading this part:

I noticed a fear in her voice and she went wide-eyed when her mom pulled up. I asked again if she was really okay and she started crying. Her mom gets out of the car and yells at her to get in.

It never even occurred to this man that the little girl may have been scared by a stranger continually talking to her while she's all alone waiting for her mom.

This woman started screaming the girl’s name and tried putting her into the car. I held the girl back because the woman was getting more upset and more handsy.

This mom can get as goddamn upset and handsy as she wants when she's pulling HER CHILD away from a stranger.

Removing, rule 3. We're not here to mock and antagonize trans people.

And remove the spam. Admins will take it from M7 for that alone.

Maybe he can make you and u/d3rr additional mods to help with that at least, in case something like this ever happens again?

If he restricts it, then only the three of you can post there as-necessary, so it doesn't become a honeypot for all the r/AHS losers to target.

Express yourself in a civil manner (hint, not calling people names for having a different opinion is a good start) or you're getting banned. Again.

Please don't feed trolls, it clogs up our ModQueue because everyone's reporting everyone else.

Both of you are breaking multiple sub rules by continuing these shenanigans, and both of you are breaking SaidIt rules by dragging down discussion on the Pyramid with this slap-fighting.

When she started showing Reddit comments about AL and TL, I was SO HOPING she would also feature one of us or someone mentioning our sub.

Alas, no she did not. But she did show a post by u/annatheginguh, who's been a member of our sub both on Reddit and here! I think Anna may have vacated SaidIt though :(

Probably the most despised mod on Reddit after Gallowboob, but for different reasons.

Bloviating pedo windbag who thinks far too highly of himself and the righteousness of his crusades. Runs a sub called "AgainstHateSubreddits" that targets and harasses other subs, and encourages users to report them to Admins so they get banned. Runs a sub called "MassTagger", which is a browser extension used to track users who commit the terrible crime of wrongthink across Reddit.

See s/AgainstHateSubreddits here for more info.
