I'm confused by the reference to 'errors'. My understanding is that these are documents leaked from WPATH. Who's responsible for the 'errors'?

The claim is that the errors are reporting bias/misrepresentation by the the far right to further transphobia.

The source is "Erin in the Morn", a TIM activist who is DEFINITELY known for being factual and unbiased, and in no way ever furthering a pro-trans agenda 🙄

Those commenters are either willfully ignorant or so used to lying in order to prevent their whole worldview from collapsing that they can no distinguish fact from fiction.

My money is on the latter.

Funny how the other side is nothing but fake news and conspiracies and theirs is always pure truth and hard facts.

Reality is transphobic.

When you successfully fact check something and the empirical data goes against Reddit's narrative, that usually results in a permanent ban.

The comments are unironically calling fascism... because... someone questioned some sketchy medical practices? Isnt having the freedom to say "hey, something isnt right here" quite the opposite of fascism?? The fascists are the ones trying to silence voices lol

No, fascism is when the state doesn’t castrate kids unilaterally And can’t silence dissidents

Someone called it a gish gallop in the comments which is funny because that term specifically refers to the act of trying to overwhelm with data to dissuade specific arguments. I don't think they realized it has a negative connotation.

Absolutely. The term is also only applicable to spoken bebate because it prevents immediate rebuttal. Presenting lots of data in an article is just being thorough. And what is the point of the Substack platform if not to indulge in detailed analysis?

Michael Shellenberger, known for pushing anti-scientific views, released what he dubbed "the WPATH files." In this highly editorialized document…

This is how I know Michael Shellenberger is right. They have 0 self awareness and are so blazenly arrogant all the time.
