Makes sense. They remove all the humans so it's only skinwalkers left.

Hi. I am a real human who still uses Reddit for gaming content and porn.

(Please get more of both on saidit so I can quit.)

I quit first and then started to search for an alternative. This is the best one so far. Even 9GAG has more and better content than Reddit. Participate, post content, open new /s's. Will be be checking things over weekends and try to add more stuff. Let's get saidit off the ground.

It's funny that literally everywhere else on the internet has the exact opposite opinion than reddit. I think you're right, they aren't real comments.

Many of these miserable trans will become part of the statistic in a couple years.

The only place their absence will be noted will be on the forums, and there even barely.

Nope, some of us are still there to giggle as it crumbles & we watch it burn.

Won't anyone think of the women who want to be men, though? (top 2 comment threads)

It's a funny little switch to me. It's clearly more propaganda and astroturfing. They are realizing they are losing the war with "trans women are women" and are beginning to try to rise up with "trans men are men" since they think actual women hold more power.

They have no idea of the hellfire that will reign down upon them and everyone else with this approach. If anyone thought patriarchy was bad before, woooo ... it's going to get really bad and ugly.

As far as AI/bot content on Reddit, it's become much worse since the API changes. A lot of real people who were contributing content or moderating have left the site. So all the fake posts and comments continue to exist and be played off of. There's no one left to keep astroturfing out except those who believe in it and are supported by the admins who also believe in it.

No, truth be told, they get it.

The average heterosexual man is kinda horrified by the idea that he might date a woman who wasn't really a woman.

That's probably just biological. It's not "the product of centuries of bigotry." Heterosexual men don't want to have sex with men. We have an innate aversion to it.

Women have a much less strong aversion to the idea of sex with women. And that's why people don't obsess over trans men, or even really think about trans men.

So, if you're a young heterosexual man and a girl turns herself into a man... who really gives a shit. It's just a short guy who doesn't present much competition to you. Pretty easy to ignore.

Not exactly. They're horrified by stumbling upon a trans woman that said they're woman. They obviously don't want to have sex with them... but what then? Can they punch them to get away from them safely? That's what scary.

It's a more scary thought marrying a woman you thought was decent and later learning that she was actually a pornstar.

Queer people will never accept this and it will be their downfall. They can exist like they keep telling us but anything else is not going to happen and they have to accept it.

Um

If a trans woman comes up to me and says "I'm a woman," I just say "okie dokie" and go back to what I was doing. I truly have no reason to feel fear.

Personally I just feel like that's the best possible goal: everyone accepts everyone else's existence. No one challenges anyone else's right to exist.

Don't condemn, don't celebrate, just accept.

That's not what I said. If you match with a profile that says woman on tinder and you find out they're a troon, if you want to get out of the situation they will attack you. Those people are crazy, vicious. And one of the biggest propagators of rape culture.

It would be great if queer people accepted I don't want to have sex with trans people. But they don't.

Personally I just feel like that's the best possible goal: everyone accepts everyone else's existence. No one challenges anyone else's right to exist.

No one's challenging the other's right to exist. People are trying to put in my head a trans woman into women is a lesbian so they can have sex with lesbians. Your argument is a strawman.

However "everyone accepting each other" is also impossible. It's fine some people stay away from others because fundamentally not everyone can get along.

I don't know, man. Hasn't been my experience. With trans women, I do the exact same thing as I do with ugly women: I wait a couple days and then say "Hey, I've enjoyed talking to you, but I'm getting back together with my ex." And then everything is chill.

No one's challenging the other's right to exist.

If only that were true. But, no. It's not "no one." And it's not a straw man, which is, of course, two words. Radicals exist, and their numbers have been increasing lately.

However "everyone accepting each other" is also impossible. It's fine some people stay away from others because fundamentally not everyone can get along.

I think it's possible to do both. "I accept you, I respect you, I'm gonna be over there and we're not gonna know each other." I have had to take that position many times in my life.

I think I can do this, but the fact that I don't want to get to know them means I don't accept them (I think this is semantics then?).

I can 'accept' someone exists and they believe certain things and behave certain ways without accepting those beliefs and behaviors and who they are.

In this sense, I think it's impossible to live in a world where everyone is accepted.

[–]Hematomato 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You're right, it's a semantic issue. The question is what the word "accept" means.

To me, "accept" just means "I'm not gonna fuck with it." Like if there's a spider web on my ceiling, I "accept" that if I don't knock the web down with a broom. I don't have to be friends with the spider, I don't have to say it's a good thing the web exists, I just have to not knock the web down.

And I think acceptance of LGBT people is the same thing. As long as you don't bully them, don't advocate for locking them up, don't do anything to harm them, just let them live their lives in peace... that's acceptance.

And I think acceptance is what we should all be trying to get to. Not condemnation, not celebration, just "Oh, you're trans? Well, okie dokie then. Best of luck to you in your travels."

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I agree with all that.

The issue is that what LGBT people see as "harm" is not really a lot of other people's ideas of "harm" (same with "bullying"). The easiest example is pronouns. If you 'misgender' a person or refuse to call them something other than what they appear to be, many LGBT people will call this violence. They want constant validation from the world, they want special treatment, rather than to be left alone. It's easy to leave them alone because I honestly don't care about them and can't relate to their lifestyle. It's the fact that they are loud and demanding (and not all of them are, I will concede) and impose themselves on others that goes against their own idea of tolerance.

While I agree with you on some parts, you're still on a bit of a bubble-think.

No one is going after trans people, especially republicans. They know if they do anything against them (even self defense), it paints them in a bad light. They're playing more defensively, they only attack on the defenses. The woketards know they have to stay away from the rep kids to stay safe.

What WILL happen is a civil war among the woketards. Notice how there's more gays not calling themselves an "LGBT individual"s, so at some point only the insane ones will be at LGBT. A storm will brew and everything will explode. Actually, it's already happening. But think it more of a civil war either between queers VS queer or feminists VS queers.

It will be ugly.

UNLESS what you actually mean is the new generation of men going fullhead on traditionalism because of how lunatic the wokes were on the 21st century.

That's still patriarchy... and it won't be exactly horrible, unlike what you think.

This generation has learned from the current and all the past generations how to actually be a conservative without being wicked about it. Women are becoming trad-wives willingly and after putting up with trad men they noticed it's way better than what feminism is selling them. And in this generation men basically have no power over the women.

I still keep seeing removed comments. Some people are trying but they too are giving up lol Twitter is gonna replace it at some point

Which is dumb because your average mentally unstable trans man would be in a whole lot of danger on a male ward.

The thing that strikes me as the weirdest is the concept of a "repost" on social media. If you did that on a mailing list, you would be treated like an idiot that didn't know how to search. I'd say "social media" fully thrives on copyright infringement on an industrial scale. When people link to a YouTube video, the content creator gets some money, but when a GIF is created by some random of that video (or someone colluding with Reddit) they don't get anything. Why aren't all those people being sued?

Just noticed. The UK geodefault sub has a rule against deadnaming and misgendering.

Which can be warped into anything they want.

You can't find a single coment that says the decision is a good one, just like you can't find any conservative on the politics sub.

Top few comments seem to be attempts at "gotchas" built around the existence of "trans men."

That doesn't work, rhetorically. These leftists created the concepts of "trans women" and "trans men." Creating logical fallacies around either therefore doesn't help them. Their fault.

Practically, I don't want "trans men" in women's spaces anyway. To be in one, you should be a woman by both birth and behavior.

I don't particularly want them in men's spaces, either, but society / Reddit has this weird fixation on going to the doctor all the fucking time so I guess they have to go somewhere. Maybe hospitals can find closets to repurpose.

Trans men are fine in men's spaces imo.

I kinda think that while there's a lot of AI on Reddit, I also believe that when you combine people and social media, they tend to adopt similar views without really thinking for themselves and they will regurgitate it almost like they're the same person making the same points. Libtards are a great example of this, they're NPCs.
