The commercial addresses (or some of them) could be legit. While you're probably not supposed to, small business owners living out of the back of their shop isn't unheard of.

According to Snopes, which I grudgingly trust not to outright lie (unlike MSM), that picture comes from elsewhere in Ohio and no specific context is known.

Is he Haitian? Is he an immigrant? Did he kill that goose? Those are all questions without answers at this moment. Reluctantly I must agree that the mainstream narrative that there is no proof of Haitian immigrants eating pets and wildlife is currently correct. My take would be that they just wanna make really sure they're done. You may well be a very reasonable person, but they don't know that. They don't know you won't run up some kind of ridiculous bill getting the car detailed back to mint condition or whatever. But if they buy it, they know it's over.

But, I'm not a lawyer nor even able to claim any real experience with that kind of situation, so I can't rule out the possibility it's some kind of sneaky legal play you'd regret accepting.
