Interesting thought experiment, but kind of hampered by the fact that I've never met a neanderthal. Perhaps a more useful comparison would be a dog. AIs clearly beat dogs at language and art, but I think dogs are a lot more "general". To pick an obvious example, would you trust an AI (equipped with a robot body) to defend your home, with deadly force if needed, while leaving you and your family unharmed? I sure wouldn't.

Happened to me one time. I think I was collateral damage in misguided but more or less legitimate anto-spam operation though.

I forget what it was exactly, but there was an especially prolific spammer, let's say it was for foobar.com, and I made the mistake of saying something like "Oh geez, not the foobar.com spam again". Best I can tell that got me caught in the filter. I sent an appeal, and either that actually worked (though I don't believe I ever got a confirmation message) or it was otherwise cleared up because the shadowban only lasted lasted a couple days.

At first glace this might seem logical. It's certainly true that I'm not tempted to get in bed with Buck Angel (who incidentally is actually pretty cool) but this logic breaks down when you consider there's no reason someone can't be unattracted to both.
