There are people who are strangely obsessed with disrupting SaidIt, I don't really understand.

I don't bother with trying to figure out who is an alt of who, I don't care much who they are. I just ignore how dumb they act, and eventually they reveal themselves to be the same old nuisance machine and abandon the latest account and start over again with a new one.

Seems like a waste of time and life and effort, but what do I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I expected the spiderman meme.

But there are clearly some disruptors here that use alt to manipulate the frontpage.
Some who inject mainstream propaganda / fake science to create a pretend consensus.
And some social justice "fighters" who spread fascism or nazi stuff to get saidit banned.
Spammers.

I wonder how a form could be protected from manipulators.

Two hints: Kobayashi and a backwards-speaking midget.

It's especially annoying with socks. Finding his latest alt so you can block it is like playing whack-a-mole.

Socks and Ed have to be the easiest alts to identify. They're unique characters. Or maybe I've just grown accustomed to their presence and don't rely on their usernames anymore lol

That's what they want you to think.
