If it takes a quantum particle to create "seeing" by our eyes then we are quantum machinery...and a meat popsicle. Thanks for the pictures and post.

I too have read before that genetically, the majority of humans have inherited the fear for things like snakes.. there are certain living beings that make your skin crawl, give you goose bumps, or make you jump if they catch you by surprise.. These may vary between individual, but there's usually a common fear people share like tarantulas or snakes (yes, a certain portion of the population is chill with them).. This is genetically inherit, from years of nomadic living and survival purposes. It's a defense mechanism: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2017/10/infant-fear-phobia-science-snakes-video-spd/#

Imagine you walked into your apartment or home or bedroom, and were surprised by a gigantic furry tarantula, or a small kitten.. Your reaction would vary greatly, even if both were harmless to you.

I don't deny we inherited some of this. BUT look at owners of these exotics animals e.g. : They unlearned this fear / disgust most likely for most parts.

While in "normal" people with a normal upbringing and education it is surely strengthened.

And: Fear and disgust are different emotions that is a proven fact.

Maybe it is perceived differently if you live in Australia, that i'll give you. Because Australia has afaik the most poisonous wildlife.

I never even would come near they idea to conclude from rodent behavior to that of humans but that is your type of conclusion pattern not mine, i just wanna distance myself from this clearly.

Culture, myths, legends and religion are a bunch of whole separate topics when compared to behavior, imho. Because for all all these topics you need time to think to devise and understand them. While purely emotional reactions / behavior usually happens in a split second and is required to be quite precise from an evolutionary point of view.

Disgust is a mostly learned / trained emotion.

Bullshit. Fear of snakes, spiders, and other beasties is cross-cultural and cuts across time, language, and culture. It's why every culture has a concept of a dragon, which is something like a predatory bird combined with a snake combined with a cat.

If you take a rat that's never even seen a cat and put cat urine in its enclosure, it'll back into a corner and scream (ultrasonically) for three days straight.

We're descended from tree-dwelling critters that had millions of years to learn who its predators were.

Arguably, spiders actually benefit humans by eating other insects that harm us a lot more, like mosquitoes.

It's possible that we've evolved to have an adverse reaction to spiders because at some time in our evolutionary history there were poisonous spiders that caused real harm and we passed on a natural response to avoid ALL spiders like we generally have the same adverse reaction to ALL snakes even though most snakes are not harmful.

It's also possible that spiders are just so biologically different than humans that we have a natural adversion to them. That and they are sneaky, live in dark places and ambush their prey in creepy ways... and like the bats and all the other slimy things that hunt in dark places, we generally avoid all of them.

" How do you know [they spin EVERYTHING, without exception]? Did the media tell you that? "

You mean did the liars tell me that they are liars, and how would I know if they were lying about that?

I've deduced it by observation, logic, and reasoning - time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time.

My advice to you: Start with the premise that they are lying about everything, and by deduction via contrary perspectives determine for yourself when then are actually telling the truth, as they do mix the lies with truths to better sell it to the sheeple. Always be skeptical of all those who hold any power over you - from the banks and bosses to "authorities" and "experts" to teachers and holders of information. Their trust must be earned, and even after it's been build up, continue to trust but verify - or be vulnerable to being duped again.

Don't believe me. Don't believe them. Don't believe the contrarians. Gather all the conflicting stories together and make up your own mind. (Fox vs MSNBC do NOT count as counter-narratives. It's Corporate Media vs Independent Media from all angles - left, right, statist, anarchist, etc.)

If it were easy to fight propaganda then more people would be doing it and more people would not be falling prey to it.

Keep your healthy skepticism, but don't keep it with me. Your defense of the corporatocracy and their liar media has become tiresome.

Way back when...it was lions, tigers, bears and a few other beast to beware. I don't see any of those creators in modern life, even the "few other beasties". You are right on the money, it is only other humans that I am most being aware of during my travels. The amount of time I spend in Nature where beasts live is minimal therefor the mass majority of my life is being aware, beware of my fellow humans. How said is that? I mean really, when you see it this way don't you start to ask what the fuck civilization has been doing all along? How did our great "institutions" going back to the Greek days of life twist and bastardize our own conception of "culture" building to create this state of being we discuss in this post? I have taught this through with grand detail, but if I complained, would anyone listen?

If this is not proof that for generations uncountable we have bastardized what ever "Civilization" means and there is very little civility. In place of MAGA I say lettuce put civil into civilization. BTW, there has been very little if any civil in civilization since the word was invented. So, we cannot make it civil again...we must give it civil for the first time, imo.

" You're on saidit and your stance on covid measures is a negative stereotype about Jews. "

Talk about stereotypes!

SaidIt is a place where inconvenient truths are found because they're censored elsewhere, just as the asstrolls and anything right of Mao, including centrists and old-Left progressives. Sure, there is no shortage of racism here, and I will admit they have a perspective with very valid reasons for it - but I don't subscribe or endorse it.

Yes - it is possible to carry an idea without believing it.

My stance on COVID has nothing to do with Jews.

I know and love many Jewish relatives, exes, friends, bosses, co-workers, and employees. I've only ever despised one Jewish person ever, Ido, from college, who fucked me over and tried to steal our group project by deleting it all after he took a copy. Fucker. I've also had many good and mediocre roommates, but only one that I despised, from New Zealand. Does that make me hate all New Zealanders? Hell no. /u/SierraKiloBravo seems to be a great lad.

Judaism has a LOT of problems as a religion - as does every other religion. Religions are social viruses, with pros and cons. IMO, mostly cons. The important distinction is that Judaism promotes manipulation and deception towards global subjugation and slavery. That's not okay with me.

I will always be against all royalty, governments, secret agencies, militaries, globalists, NeoCons, Wahhabists, and Zionists for their shared goals of full spectrum dominance. If you want to defend or support them then you're a brainwashed idiot and slave.

he interrupted me and blurted, how do you know that word? I told him, hey, I went to college. He clearly thought I was BSing him. I just wish he had the pain we have

I am so sick of that shit. They think their patients are idiots and yeah, they don't get what it's like or they wouldn't be so damned difficult.

I haven't tried Buprenorphine yet. I was on hydrocodone for a while then tramadol. I'd like to stick to non-narcotics if one of them works. Who knows, docs like to make you rule out everything first so it works out.

TENs units are little devices that you connect to electrodes where you feel pain and it shocks you. It does work for me as long as it's going but there's no lasting relief for me personally. They used to be expensive but you can get em real cheap online these days, mine cost $25.

What horror stories did you hear about "pain management"?

I know personally the expense, seeing them every damn month, and getting treated like you're trying to get high but these days I guess you need to be blood tested and anything illegal will cut off your meds, or false positives, or things like cbd flower that contain minuscule amounts of thc. They have quotas, a doctor prescribing too many controlled substances, and I mean total, triggers a DEA investigation and they can lose their ability to prescribe those kinds of meds. So they don't want to give you anything, and if they do, they only can do so much for all their patients. I guess besides that it's just people's tales of agonizing pain that gets ignored, and major surgery with nothing stronger that tylenol.

These are the ones I was going to ask the doc about, sorry it's a little disorganized, I just had it on a note on my phone.
Indometacin - NSAID
Orphenadrine (>100mg) - muscle relaxer
Pregabalin - nerve pain med
Ketamine nasal spray
ketoprofen/lidocaine/ketamine compound - this might be hard to find
High dose Baclofen - another muscle relaxer, also known for reducing alcohol cravings.

[Tried]
Ketoprofen (systematic review found more effective than ibuprofen and it did work great but it stops being effective quickly and is difficult to find - liver issues)
Diclofenac gel - Meh
Meloxicam - stomach pains
Torodor - Can't be taken long term
low dose Naltrexone - Messes with kratom/opiates
Gabapentin - didn't work

(Anti-depressant meds - these make me shake so I can't take them)

SNRI used for pain management Duloxetine
Tricyclic antidepressants used for pain management - amitriptyline, desipramine, nortriptyline

[Previously used non meds] Fish oil - it works slightly
cbd

Good. Please send the list of non-narcotic meds. I used to have sciatica but it migrated to L6. When I started telling the doc about my sciatica, he interrupted me and blurted, how do you know that word? I told him, hey, I went to college. He clearly thought I was BSing him. I just wish he had the pain we have. Some of the docs are complete assholes. All I can get is Tramadol. Tramadol. He prescribes Alprazolam 0.4 mg too. It's off-label for back pain but helps a little.

One thing you can get here that is legal is called a "blocking shot." They don't tell me what the chemical is but the doc injects it right into your spine. It is not pleasant but gives some good relief and so far has lasted a year.

I dare not go the black market route, even if I knew where, because this place is ultra-strict and I do not relish doing time which really could happen here even if my records showed a severe curvature of the spine, which is what I've got.

Have you tried asking your doc for Buprenorphine? I have read about it and addicts get no high from it but it helps pain. It's prescribed for withdrawal. I have never tried K and am certain no one here would prescribe it. Also don't know any source.

Disclaimer: If anyone is listening in, I want to say I am NOT doing anything illegal nor do I plan to in this country. When I mentioned GHB, that was when it was LEGAL here and everywhere, many years ago. Do I sound paranoid? It's because I am.

I hope you find some relief. What horror stories did you hear about "pain management"? Also, I do not what TENs are. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Do you take anything for your back? I've had some luck with dextromethorphan, the cough medication, at therapeutic doses and not "robotripping." Ketamine is supposed to be even more effective but that's pricey here, also for no good reason since the stuff is also dirt cheap to make. Both are disassociatives and for some reason they seem to work on pain for some people. My issue is tolerance builds rapidly so it's maybe a week or two before it isn't helping. Still, it's something.

I'm trying for pain management in January. I have heard the horror stories but I gotta do something. There's a nuclear option though, if you're hurting they don't want to give you pain meds but if you say you're a heroin addict they'll do Buprenorphine. Shitty fucking thing to go on your record but if nothing else works....

Or there's TENs units and I make up a menthol spray that's stronger that what they sell. It's not fantastic but it helps me to at least try to do something for it. I have a short list of non narcotic pain meds too if you're interested. That's my plan A. Hopefully one of them works cause controlled meds are a real pain in the ass to deal with if you can even get them. I used to do that years ago but the $300 doctors visits and getting treated like a junky had me move to kratom, just after a few years it isn't really working like it used to.

I didn't have any pain then but do now. It just makes you feel good or sleep depending on dosage. Also, it is a chemical that is naturally in your body. But it's not good for work as you tend to forget stuff. Calling something a "date rape drug" is so ridiculous because wine/liquor has been used for that since it was first made. Ironically, it can be had by prescription in the US, now years after it was denounced and made illegal, but it is super expensive. The irony is that it is very cheap to make. I used to make on my stove top and it took minutes. Kratom is illegal where I live and I would rather not screw around with the legal system here. Here, they do not want you to feel good. It is considered seditious. Pain is good. With GHB you have to measure the amount carefully to get relaxxxxation or sleep. A friend just grabbed my bottle, guzzled some and fell asleep on the spot. Rumors that it can be fatal are much exaggerated but never mix it with downers or pain killers, the ones that are mildly narcotic. Here the docs won't even give me ordinary codeine for my L6 back pain.

They tried that with kratom too but people raised a million bucks and lobbied to keep it legal federally. It also helps some people quit drinking, and with the current opioid hysteria it's all some of us have for pain.

Does GHB help with pain at all?

GHB was a wonder drug. From the day I tried it, I never took another drink. I had a bit when I came home from work, and about twice that to go to sleep. It was great before a workout. It was NOT a date rape drug. Then big Harma found out how good it was and that they could not patent it and soon had a law passed by their brothers in crime so that you could possibly get life for making or selling it.

It is actually weird that people work very hard to accomplish things,
but they keep on working and working.
As if the goals are never completely reached.
And I don't mean that it has to be perfect,
but you become part of a system that keeps giving you new work. People often give you extra work, because you are working so hard.

On the other hand, if one takes rest and
gets away from the treadmill of work,
there can be a lot of enjoyment from even the smallest of things. Things that you would miss, because you were to busy doing work.

That very same hypocritical corporatocracy.

I'm not Alt-Right, nor am I anti-Semitic nor racist. I created /s/Race_DivisionByElites and /s/USIsrael and /s/GreenParty for a reason. I would have created /s/Voluntarism but it already existed. Take a look at my other subs or my history to see my priorities.

My stance is that many Jews are hypocrites who are both superior and victims and Zionists use them as human shields. Most Zionists are Christians, though most at the top are Jewish, allegedly. Zionists control the corporatocracy, including the banks, media, academia, the military, and government. This should concern folks. Centralized power is corrupt absolutely.

" your belief that the jews want something is reason enough for you to oppose it, but that's not how it works for me. "

I've never said that.

" I oppose corporate corruption because it's harmful to society "

Me too.

" not because billionaires want it. "

I don't care if billionaires want the moon, I care that billionaires are profoundly harmful to society and they run the corporatocracy which is fundamentally rigged and thoroughly corrupt.

If it's so obvious that I have no clue what I'm talking about, then I'm sure you'd be able to be able to call out one wrong thing I wrote?

No problem.

Me:

Science had always been is extremely political. Scientist compete with each other. It's anything but dispassionate.

Your counter claim:

You're thinking of academia. I'm trying to make a distinction between the process of science (based on the ideas of Popper and Bacon) and the thing academic scientists do.

This understating of the reality of "science" is completely uninformed.

The distinction you're suggesting is a myth.

Science is never settled. Ever.

Controversy and debate is an inherent and necessary feature of all legitimate scientific inquiry.

Unfortunately, science is dispassionate. If you do it right, it supports truth. I expect that, if you do science, you'll learn that you're wrong. (If you also think this, then you think that you're wrong; if you don't think this, then why don't you? I can give you tips; obnoxious I may be, but I can do science.)

Science is a tool that can yeild insight about interactions of nature; assuming the hypothesis is generally valid.

"Climate scientist" are scientist in name only.

They make up models, and they manufacture climate predictions with their contrived models.

Their predictions rarely occur, if ever.
They are scientific frauds.

They do not perform experiments. The models are easily testable, and regularly fail.

Their theoretical models are crap, and do not reflect reality.

"Global warming" was renamed "climate change", because the warming stopped.

Please keep the Pyramid of Debate in mind when replying.

CO2 levels continue to increase, yet the temperate has not continued to increase.

Reality thoroughly disproves their pseudoscience, which is predicated on CO2 increases raising the average global temp.

I have refuted the central thesis of your position.
