Say you were talking about Bob and you used Bob's deadname? Well, that could expose information about Bob's previous identity that isn't yours to disclose.

What, is Bob a felon? Whatever info about his "previous identity"(aka facts about himself like his actual sex) Bob is trying to hide with a name change was already public knowledge until he up and decided that no one knew it after all, and suddenly everyone around him had to pretend they didn't know what they already knew for years, since having others denying well established facts about him was somehow his right(because real rights work exactly like that). Does Bob realize what an imposition that is and no one should be required to do it? Only if they personally choose to? This also applies to the pronoun stuff.

And the fact that they put scare quotes around every instance of the term.

Don't worry! This is not like that so-called "Conversion Therapy" that everyone's been on about. It's just a highly compassionate method to treat obvious sexual traumas that prevent people from reintegrating into polite heterosexual society.

On the off chance that a therapist(a former clergyman for example) using this method were to say- Find and Cure the Gay from someone, that would just be a neat little bonus, don't you think? 😉

Odysee is a slick, modern looking video-hosting site, and I'll try to use it more often. But Bitchute video quality just blows and has for the longest time. It especially hurts when you upload gaming videos, which more require high resolution and sharpness in comparison to talking-head videos, where video quality isn't as important. Not to mention the site looks like it's from a decade ago. At least they have fixed their terrible search function. Used to be I couldn't even find videos even when searching the exact name of the video. I haven't used Rumble or Brighteon yet to say anything about them.

edit: Another good thing about Odysee is you can make multiple channels per account without a subscription. Channels are not just for the purpose of video uploading, but is used for commenting under a different alias as well. So you don't have to make another account with another email to shitpost or whatever.

Agreed; The natural neutrality of sexuality got pushed and pulled every which way by irrelevant motivations stemming from both ideological extremes until it became all warped and disfigured. Sexual orientation could be like a tranquil recreational park but is instead a miasmic battleground between 2 political factions. Eventually, I hope it'll all blow over and settle into that happy medium after these warring types take their personal hangups and their axes and go some place else to grind them; Leaving others in peace to develop and self-actualize.

Side note, this girl needs to be careful. This guy handled it well, but others may not be so forgiving. She SERIOUSLY needs to rethink her hook-up strategy, as the wrong recipient may just snap and react violently out of revenge. There are a lot of fragile egos out there, and it can get scary. I'm just glad that nobody was seriously hurt as an outcome

I like how Trans are never the perpetrators. Always the victims. If anyone is traumatized by trans deception it's because of their own "fragile ego". And they just have to cope alone with what happened. The reactions here are completely insensitive. The guy HAD to handle it "well" because telling his true feelings about the violation would get him branded as a bigot and transphobe. Fuck these woke idiots.

people interacting in a overthetop friendly way, taught to smile like retards, which just comes off as annoying , invasive and extremist; but that entire culture is extremist about anything.

The US is a culture of exclamation marks and CAPITALIZED actions/reactions. And I think much of it rubbed off as the shoe of Canadian culture, even when it didn't fit the foot at all. One of these is the "conversion therapy" bill that passed through Parliament. The idea for laws criminalizing conversion therapy is mainly a consequence of the extremist religiosity in parts of the US and the also extremist reactions to it, that have been projected onto many other countries and has now been used as a template for Canadian laws.

It is ill-fitting, considering the respective timelines for the progressive milestones don't overlap particularly closely due to the relatively lack of theistic dominance in Canada. An example is how same-sex marriage passed into law 16 years ago without much opposition or hubbub. It also wasn't immediately followed by an explosion of gender ideology development until it also occurred South of the border. That's when the opportunists made their move.

In short, the culturally adjacent nations gotta stop automatically taking their cues from the US in such a reflexive manner. Some stronger sense of nationalism might help with this. Canada is pretty weak with this due to all the separatist sentiments coming from the East and the West. The physically larger the "empire", the more difficult it is to get "unity" and enforce any central mandates. This might explain why vast territories that are not blessed with resources/riches that the government can lay claim to and then bribe their overly dispersed citizens with, eventually have such overbearing central authorities, almost and oftentimes devolving into regimes in order to survive.

But anyway, there's a book I read once called, Brightsided, which talks about the smiling and positivity habit ingrained in American(and perhaps North American) culture.

I'm not much of a smiler or positive thinker(as my previous passage may indicate), so I easily took to this book as a reaction to all the people around me telling me I wasn't doing remotely enough of either. My attitude towards the former habit has always been: "I'll smile when I'm happy. It's supposed to be a emotional highlight and spontaneous. If I did it all the time it won't mean a thing anymore and the insincerity will show in my smile. And who wants that?"

On the other end of the spectrum, one of my friends normally smiles "too much", and it can get confusing sometimes if I'm not paying enough attention to their other cues to notice that they may be in a bad mood and I'm suddenly walking on egg shells. It's also problematic because I think sometimes they can inadvertently annoy other people with their habit like you said, which I tried hinting to them on occasion.

I should also note that a similar attitude exists to keep people conversing, even when one doesn't want to. You're not just allowed to be quiet and not "contribute". Because then there MUST be something wrong with you and you're gonna shoot up a school or something bad of course. It couldn't be that the person just prefers to talk with people they are familiar with and in smaller groups. And don't get me started on the emphasis on pointless small talk.

And on the topic of China's water problems; It makes it so they can't at all exploit their tantalizingly large shale gas reserves in the North West of the country, which would go a long way toward alleviating their current pollution/energy crisis. Their Sichuan province gas reserves can't easily be tapped either because doing so can cause tremors in a highly populated region that is especially vulnerable to earthquakes, has suffered much from seismic activity in the past and whose locals have been kicking up a storm lately about fracking effects. These difficulties are mitigated somewhat by their relative lack of environmental red tape compared to Western countries, which can speed up the green-lighting and progress of any extraction projects. But for a number of reasons, they'll be mostly stuck with dirty coal for the foreseeable future when it comes to energy and a domestic source of hydrocarbons; With hydro and nuclear assisting with the electricity generation side of the equation.

edit:

firewall/restrictions inhibits innovation and cultural soft power

China's cultural soft power is complete garbage. Any contemporary Chinese art I like eventually turns out to be Taiwanese/Hong Kong. I guess you can't suppress one aspect of your citizens lives without indirectly suppressing the whole. Stifle speech and independent thinking and it drags down their creativity too. Their mega-conglomerates can buy up all the foreign entertainment studios they want, but then the prime movers of the industry will still have to be imported. And they're not willing to take the risk of loosening their grip long enough to allow more far-reaching imaginative endeavors. A real shame.

I feel so bad for that wife. Trapped in a marriage in a country that decriminalized domestic violence.

Really? It's even worse there than I thought then..

So many transbians try to trap straight women into relationships by only becoming trans after they get married or have kids.

Oh yeah, they'll keep it all on the down-low and unleash their proclivities on their families later on once they're "all in this together", and locked into their inflexible circumstances.

Also more proof that it's not gay marriage since gay marriage is not legal in Russia.

And they often virtue signal their moot Trans "Victories" as if they had any real significance to progress. Their voices are amplified in the West so may have an outsized impact on how society at large directs it's efforts, and may even affect government foreign policies. If enough Trans say that they already received their supposed "Gay Rights" in some regressive society, people and organizations might eventually believe the boast and no longer bother, or use it disingenuously as an excuse to deny real rights.

I've been curious about what names transmen tended to choose and why. I had just assumed most are from some anime/manga(The localized English versions anyway) they consumed.

My current theory is that they'll choose the name based on either how masculine or feminine they are or how masc or fem they want to present. So some may pick the harder-sounding names, like Brock, Alex, Jack, or Frank. Most others would go the other way with soft names like Ash, Aaron, or Hayden.

[–]MarkJefferson 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah, it's not a particularly appropriate use considering how one's views(GC or otherwise) at any time are never a permanent fixture of life. It dilutes the original concept of coming out of the closet, to mean simply publicly revealing anything at all that can increase one's personal risk. Not that many others haven't already exploited this term in considerably more offhand ways.. but it's use here does reinforce the precedent that it's not presumptuous to appropriate yet another specialized term. And there's been a lot of that happening in recent years, as we all know.

I figured that place would be in trouble when they banned me because someone's feelings were hurt when I said one of them posted the random musings of an ideologue. They began their current purity spiral over a year ago. What's that saying about gazing long into the abyss?

Good for them; Get out while you can- lads, before their voice drops, and other unpleasant and unhealthy things.

My favorite part is how there's a touching storying down in the comments about how the women in their lives are just as capable or more so than the men in them and how proud of and inspired they by their mothers accomplishments, while in the same breath they are talking about wanting to transition out of being women to become their true selves as men wtf

Got suspended by Reddit("promoting hate") for saying on a general sub that Trans is nothing but an idea, because people are in "transition" white zone purgatory forever and never reach the other side of that flag. That a certain trans movie star will always be their birth sex. That Hollywood treats you better when you lie about yourself than when you tell the truth about your sexual orientation(with references cited on this sub). Some TRAs came to run interference by ad hominem(personal insults etc.) because they couldn't even counter and probably reported me. After which I got mass upvotes anyway while their gaslighting selves got downvoted to hell lol

It sounds like more like his flat answer to people who say that he owes a 'debt' to society, or to other people in the society (i.e. to them). Like he's responding in defense to woke people with pronouns in their bio who are guilt tripping him(to date them or some other woke stuff?) to fulfill his supposed obligations.

That's my guess but some context would be nice.

Idk exactly how much stress these can take before they break, but you can probably assume whatever 'wear and tear' they do sustain from ordinary usage, won't heal remotely as evenly or without complications as a natural, whole penis, which have also specially evolved features to mitigate damage.

The separate parts cobbled together for phallo probably don't work or heal together well at all, would need regular skilled medical maintainence on a good month, and most likely comes with a detailed Owner's Care manual with exacting instructions.

Not exactly the kind of tool one can just let loose on a bunch of guys(assuming they're thirsty enough to want a strange limp dick). Yeah, I have many reasons to doubt the veracity of this transman's account.

From your experience, I gather that not only does transition resemble a rebirth or 'second puberty' to some trans people, but their euphoria can be from a feeling of escapism from their old life if people end up treating them very differently afterwards. That's what individuals in a life rut/crisis tend to relish if they are seeking to shake their life up. That and an(other) opportunity to transgress social acceptability/norms. It's almost adolescent in its attitude. Maybe that's also why they so often model their behavior after how they think youth of the opposite sex behave. It sounds like that person you know has managed to sate that hunger for escapism and change so is satisfied the way they are now, and is settling down.

The GC--Phobia accounts are becoming more refined with their talking points. They're all controlled by dedicated TRAs of course, with one main agenda no matter their individual specializations; Trans supremacy. But their rhetoric has to accurately mirror the unique grievances of each other identity they pretend to be prioritizing in order to grind away at the GC base of support from as many different directions as possible.

And I do think they do anti-GC more effectively than your average TRA because they pay closer attention to the voices at the fringes of the GC. The ones not as embraced by the movement due to their relative lack of relatability and exploitability, so more likely to feel sidelined and alienated enough to leave (and maybe join the other side). These accounts are opportunistic and will pounce on any especially offhand remarks about these people's identities to add to their own cache of shame receipts to use as persuasion in skirmishes against the GC core.

On the topic of Aces though, I had difficulty for a while wrapping my own head around that orientation, until I thought of them as simply having one less sexual attraction than homosexuals or heterosexuals. And I had long gotten over the conceptual hump of thinking of these each as just having one less attraction than bisexuals. But Idk.. maybe this (over?)simplification just works with me.

Top and Bottom seems to have gone the way of the word "partner". Words taken to be used in much less meaningful and purposeful contexts when there are overall better/more descriptive terms available. But at least the normalization of the latter covers for those with relationships in the closet. Using Top and Bottom to refer to PiV sex is just dumb.

So yeah, gay guys simply wouldn't like it cause- female, but pegging sounds pretty uninteresting in general; No offense to anyone into it. Other than the parts about dysphoria, I think this trans describes the shortcomings well. And they all revolve around the lack of actual penis functions, leading to very one-sided physical enjoyment.

Is she also chasing the fountain of youth? Because that's what transition is for a lot of people. A opportunity for someone to sculpt the time off of themselves while they change genders. They never trans up in age, only down; Acting younger than they are. I feel like Page is doing that with her teen boy thing.
