make space for himself in cis, gay culture

The way that's phrased is like go force yourself into a party you weren't invited to.

Ironic coming from Kai, who identified out of 'cis gay culture' because he couldn't handle it

Straight woman feels uncomfortable in men's spaces because she's the only woman.

In some particularly great moments, I’ve attended trans “takeovers” of predominantly cis gay spaces, which has been thrilling!

Oh but this never happens they said.

Or maybe stick to the female only spaces that you feel comfortable in .. there's probably a reason for that

Kai is A 'non-binary trans woman'. How does that work?

"Gender euphoria" ew 🤮

Kai advising her to make a space within the culture feels like it's just going to end as a 2.0 version of that one story. The one with the chick who went to gay orgy, and none of the men wanted anything to do with her. Of course, unless she tries to beat them into gross conversion/submission.

I'll never get over the gay orgy story. It still cracks me up.

Even if you think you are gay, how would you feel entitled to make a space for yourself in "cis" culture? I'll bet it wouldn't be acceptable the other way around(a non-trans making a space for themselves in trans culture). Must be the oppression differential 🙄

Maybe she should listen to her intuition on this one. This is how the trans ideology harms people. One ignores what their senses tell them because of what they are told to believe. Then you have some young woman meeting a gender-validating sexual opportunist they talked to on FB who proceeds to murder them.

Kai Cheng Thom is no longer a registered or practicing mental health professional.

Thank goodness.
