The name of this comic ("Assigned Male") is technically anti-intersex, but, I bet the TRA who makes them doesn't care about that!

Also the "trans people can have any genitalia and look like anything" is nonsense. When's the last time you met a "trans man" who was biologically male with a functioning penis? When's the last time you met a "trans woman" with a real vagina & was born female? Exactly.

Don't tell me that I should be open to dating "trans men" because they can "look like anything", when 95% of them don't get "Bottom surgery" and those that do don't even have functional penises. They are female. I am not attracted to females, there is nothing I can do about this. If I could do something about it, I could.

When's the last time you met a "trans man" who was biologically male with a functioning penis?

Let alone an ear of corn or a tentacle, lmfao

Those fujoshis probably would think a tentacle is a dick, tbh.

Some of them do. I have seen a bunch of comments on AGB that are like "I have multiple different-sized dicks" referring to their strapons. It's crazy.

[–]8bitgay 12 insightful - 2 fun12 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It's funny how they say this like something to be proud of. They say it in a tone of "I'm better than a cis man because I have lots of dildos!".

Yeah, cis men can buy lots of dildos too. On top of that they also have their own real dick.

Inter-sex people are just pawns for TRAs to own conservatives with. That's the extent of their care for those people, literally to just "own the cons" with.

Why would I want an FTM's eggs that are filled with a high level of testosterone or an MTF's sperm filled with a ton of estrogen for my son/daughter? That can't be good for the baby. I swear there are going to be a lot of children with health problems in the near future because of this shit.

I was always curious about pregnant ftms, is it really healthy for the baby?

[–]Femaleisnthateful 24 insightful - 1 fun24 insightful - 0 fun25 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I'm curious about this as well, and I'm not sure how much research exists on this, since FtM was, until recently, a very very rare phenomenon. I can't imagine it's without repercussions. The media loves to celebrate 'men giving birth', but it's really a massive social and biological experiment with unknown consequences.

[–]GreykittymommaMagical lady 💜 19 insightful - 2 fun19 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Oh my gosh I just ranted on a pregnancy sub because they are trying to get us to use the more inclusive "ftp" first time parent instead of "ftm" first time mom. I am insulted as a first time mom. We can't even have our own terms on a pregnancy sub anymore. I got lots of sass in my replies. I don't go to trans subs talking about being a FTM because that would be confusing. They just didn't get it at all. sigh

Most FtM have to get rid of their entire reproductive system because of atrophy and cancer risks.

The answer is obvious.

[–]Lesbianese 20 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 0 fun21 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Can't say for sure but I've heard from someone else who has looked into this more than I have that the testosterone can stick around in the eggs for a long time even after quitting testosterone which can cause health problems in baby girls.

If someone well versed in this wants to explain I'd love to hear it even if it's the opposite of what I'd heard. I have a hard time believing medication like that doesn't impact the development process at all though, especially considering testosterone can make women sterile in high doses and this isn't even natural testosterone.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I thought most of them were either pre-t, or stopped taking t while pregnant / trying to get pregnant. I imagine there would likely be a need for IVF too because of the effects of t on the body.

[–]Shadow_Lurker 18 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 0 fun19 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Most of the science on transgender stuff is very recent, and in some cases nonexistent.

MtF breastfeeding and FtM pregnancies are two of the things we have no longitudinal data on, so people are just throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Ah, also puberty blocking! I nearly forgot about this little chestnut.

[–]insta 17 insightful - 1 fun17 insightful - 0 fun18 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think it's safe to say that it's dangerous and should be avoided. We're seriously playing God with all these hormonal replacement shit.

This idea that "we need a study to prove it's dangerous" is fucking pants-on-head backwards. We need overwhelming scientific census to claim it's safe before people should engage in this shit. It's not "we don't have evidence, so oh well flip a coin" it's "we don't have evidence, so don't do it."

[–]Eurowoman24 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Isn’t that literally one of the theories about what causes lesbianism — exposure to high rates of testosterone in the womb?

[–]insta 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I vaguely remember there being research into the hormonal balance of a female's womb while their child is growing, and how that balance leads a child to be homosexual depending on the hormones and the sex of the baby.

I imagine researching the topic of "what causes people to be gay" to be a very controversial one and one probably hard to get funding for.

[–]deliciousdogfoodmy name isnt a puppyplay reference i swear 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It absolutely would. Honestly it's more likely to be used by the TRA's as "proof" we can overcome our bigoted genital fetishes moreso than the religious right nowadays, but they could also use it as some kind of proof that we're just fucked in the head.

[–]Lesbianese 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, I've heard that before. Don't know how testosterone gels or shots would play into that, especially because the eggs are being exposed to testosterone before they're fertilized.

[–]GConly 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Excess testosterone would need to happen in fetal development to affect the kid sexual orientation and brain development.

Testosterone would probably not have a beneficial effect on egg quality. Ftm usually have epic cases of cystic ovaries because they dont ovulate properly, which meam actually getting an egg out in a usuable (ripe) state is near impossible.

I have PCOS (excessive testosterone) so I know a bit about how excess testosterone can fuck up ovaries.

[–]blackrainbow[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Where to even begin? Panel by panel?

  1. Being attracted to only one sex and the sex organ that accompanies them is not a fetish.

  2. There’s no scenario where same-sex couples produce children. If someone is homosexual, the option to biological children with a partner is never on the table. The ability to have biological children doesn’t suddenly make the opposite sex attractive. (Or, you know, LGB people would’ve just become magically straight for centuries.) Furthermore, a straight person coupling with a trans person using your made up definitions would be a homosexual union. It would not produce children.

  3. Show me one transwoman’s body that isn’t male and doesn’t have male genitalia. You can’t. Because the entire purpose of being trans is trying to be like the opposite sex. So, yes, I’ll continue to acknowledge what transwomen’s bodies look like.

  4. Unless they’re completely deceived (which is rape), they most often don’t. But, let’s humor this—if regular people are boning trans people all the time, why don’t trans people ever shut up about how no one will fuck them?

  5. If I want to stand on a street corner and scream about how much I dislike olives, I damn well will. So, you can believe I will continue to assert that I’m not into men.

[–]Eurowoman24 17 insightful - 2 fun17 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

"Furthermore, a straight person coupling with a trans person using your made up definitions would be a homosexual union. It would not produce children." In their minds it would. If kids are the problem they expect het woman + transwoman and het man+ transman pairings, then for us to call ourselves lesbians/gay which would prove that gay relationships produce children. UwU. Problem is there's way more competition out in the het dating world and you can't bully straight men, hence the focus on LGBs first. - correct me if I'm wrong but that's my best guess.

[–]winterwillow 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Referring to the whole 'people wanting bio children' reason for not dating trans people like the comic does, is dishonest. It feels like a situation that would occur mostly maybe 20-30 years ago, when the majority of transwomen were homosexual, and a reason why they couldn't find a long term relationship was because the (closeted?) men they were dating eventually wanted a family and biological children, something a trans woman, no matter how well they pass, can offer.

However, it's not passing homosexual transexuals writing these types of comics, and it's not straight men they're targeting, it's lgb men and women. It's basically a strawman argument, no gay person is turning down straight sex because 'no biological children', it doesn't make sense. It's just to make them seem more targeted/oppressed than they are.

[–]julesburm1891 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Exactly. And it ignores the fact that straight people turning down trans people for this reason is just politeness. They don’t want to date a member of the same sex, but saying “I just really want kids” is nicer than, “fuck off. I’m not gay.”

But, when do TRAs ever take a hint or make a coherent argument?

[–]reluctant_commenter 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The last panel contradicts the whole shitty comic.

If "cis" people have sex with trans people all the time then trans people already have what they want. The first 3 panels are all about sex and the last panel says that it's already happening.

The artist admits that there is no problem.

[–]Three_oneFourWanted for thought crimes in countless ideologies 22 insightful - 2 fun22 insightful - 1 fun23 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

So the reason it is evil for us to not have sex with mentally ill people we are not at all attracted to is because

1) they have dildos... anyone with a charge card and internet access can get one of those delivered anywhere in the first world

and 2) because if you deny sex with them, they will then attempt to deceive you, which is dangerous for them, because you may react violently if you find out you're being raped by a mentally ill person that you are not attracted to.

That second part is like saying "you're a monster for not giving that crackhead at the gas station your money! Now he'll be forced to try and pickpocket you or break into your home, which puts him at a lot of risk because you might react violently if you find a crackhead stealing from you!"

Why do they even want to have sex with us if it would be oh so risky for them!? I would never try to have sex with someone that would kill me if he found out I was male, why on Earth would they want to fuck a potential murderer and go out of their way to make it happen??

It IS a pretty damn unappealing image, isn't it?

It's from the movie "Alien" (1979; d. Ridley Scott): refers to the titular "xenomorph"'s reproductive cycle-- in "facehugger" form, it "lays" the egg in a host as described, which later hatches... with torso-exploding results. (Poor John Hurt really earned his name as surrogate-mom #1!)

But, as memorably-disturbing as it is (enough to achieve iconic status and create an entire franchise!), this still seems less like something out of a horror movie than the whole trans-atrocity does, imo. :(

I’m at the point where if I’m called “transphobic,” I don’t care because I don’t think it’s a meaningful word. At best I would ask questions to point out the absurdity of the points they’re raising. They will immediately deflect to how vulnerable trans people are, so ask about that too, especially to well-meaning people who parrot the lines. We know it’s all lies, but those people don’t. All of the vulnerability is purely hypothetical. So ask for examples. They won’t know of any and they’ll realize they don’t know of any. And if they’re parrots, the trick is to get them to reach the conclusion that they have standard TERF beliefs like the rest of us.
