they are obsessed with yoai and men are obsessed with lesbian porn and yet they can't understand why gay men and lesbians don't accept them. i can like Asian food and Asian culture, but i am never going to be Asian or accepted as an Asian, just like these women and teen girls will never be accepted as gay men, they are just going to be seen as annoying and creepy girls.

that's the thing - being transgendered is exactly like being transracial. i've yet to hear an argument that can convince me otherwise. hell, i would even go so far as to say being transracial would make more sense than being transgendered since genetically speaking human beings of all races are more close to each other than, say, someone who is male or female.

I wholeheartedly agree. I remember when everyone was dunking on Rachel Dowazell (spelling?) and I brought this up time & time again. Normies have no argument why transracialism is wrong but transgenderism is totally unquestionable.

If people seriously think the differences between a hispanic person and white person are greater than the differences between male and female then that person is either lying to you or an idiot.

What really kills me about Rachel is that she was actually helping her local black community. Trans women and trans men don't do anything for the people they try to impersonate except piss them off.

Yep! Yet they've managed to shut that conversation down. Can't allow logic to enter the conversation, now can we? Otherwise their whole ideology comes crashing down.

Race is a genuinely tricky thing that is defined very differently in different places. In California I'm mixed. In Asia I'm white. In the midwest I'm Asian. And it changed over the course of my life too, because as a baby I looked very Asian. When I was about 8 I looked pretty white, maybe Latino. Now I'm pretty clearly mixed. But even when I looked white there are plenty of places where I would be too obviously Jewish to be accepted as white. Race is such a genuinely fluid social construct and we will never have a consistent, scientific way to define it.

Meanwhile you can unambiguously figure out someone's sex (and gender is used as a synonym for sex 99% of the time and used to describe a sex-based class the other 1% of the time) by looking at their genitals the vast, vast majority of the time. If you want something even more reliable then you can look at their chromosomes. The presence of a Y chromosome means male (even if they are XXY or XXXY) and the lack of a Y chromosome means that they are female (even if they are X or XXX). This fails less than one percent of one percent of the time, and even in those rare mutations a more careful look at the chromosomes will succeed 100% of the time. Frankly, even when they try to hide it you can figure out someone's sex by looking at them about as reliably as their race.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

exactly! you worded it better than me. race is entirely dependent on what the mainstream culture sees you as. what they perceive you as. yet, every culture across the world knows what a man and a women is. there might be differences in terms of gender stereotypes but those categories exist in every culture. while race, like you said, is trickery and thus should be much more permissible vs immutable things like sex. yet, despite race being much more interpretable than sex, transracialism is a no-go.

[–]BiHorror 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Race is such a genuinely fluid social construct

We'll have to agree to disagree on that. I'm not into race (critical) theory. I firmly believe because it's 100% a real thing. It goes by phenotypes which are based on genotypes and environmental adaption. Something that is very real. Obviously, you'll have bits of scientific racism that tried to justify racism but does not mean the overall thing is a social construct.

There’s a lot for me to love about Finland. Saunas, Children of Bodom, Nokia, the fact that Finnish men look and sound sexy... I’ve never been to Finland, but I’d love to visit. I will never be Finnish, because I’m not. If I moved there and started acting like a stereotypical Finn, and acted like I was more Finnish than real Finns, I wouldn’t have any friends over there, because they’d think I’m fake or a weirdo.

There’s also a lot for me to love about Greece, that when I was there for a holiday last year I considered moving there permanently. The sun, the mountains, the islands, the Aegean, the food, the handsome men... But I will never be Greek, because I'm not. If I moved to Greece and started acting like a stereotypical Greek, and acted like I was more Greek than actual Greeks, I wouldn’t have any friends over there, because they’d think I’m fake and a weirdo.

I am Irish, and I’ll always will be Irish, no matter what. Likewise, a woman will always be a woman, no matter what she tries to do. I’m fine with straight women being fascinated by gay men, but they will never be gay men. And I’d wish they’d stop acting like gay men are cute and trying to infantilise us. We’re human beings, not zoo animals. And we also don’t like it when anyone who is not a good-looking man grabs our crotches. Good-looking being subjective, so don’t assume we’d appreciate it if you’re a guy either.

Well, not to get all pedantic (yeah, I know: too late!), but... you could indeed be Finnish or Greek in terms of nationality, if you met these countries' respective criteria for such status. That's something which not only can be acquired, it is in fact designed to be.

So, just to clarify: what you're talking about here is ethnicity. Being Finnish or Greek by ancestry and culture. Who your parents are; where and how you were raised. Things that we do not, and can not, choose. Like our sex.

You know what this whole choose-whether-you're-a-man-or-woman gendershittery reminds me of? When, as kids, me and my friends used to look around and "choose" a car, or house, or yacht. Which we were of course free to do... but, even if it was for sale, we-- being children-- had no way of actually acquiring any of these things. Thus rendering our "choice" meaningless. Just an exercise in our heads, not reality.

The difference being that, even at age 9, we knew this (the absurdity was part of the fun). And never expected anyone to hand over the keys.

I like your take on this. Yes, I can be a Finn by nationality if I marry a Finnish man and have lived in Finland for years. Genetically speaking, I will never be a Finn, because I have the genetics of an Irishman. But I can get a Finnish passport nonetheless.

But the difference between ethnicity and nationality does not justify sex and gender being different concepts. Men and women are different for very good reasons, and that is why the laws are different for men and for women. TRAs will argue that transsexuals are men who want the laws of women to apply to them, or vice versa, because there are Irish people with Finnish passports and Finnish people with Irish passports. But here's the thing: Ireland and Finland as countries exist because the Irish want to be governed by ourselves and the Finns want to be governed by themselves. I can still emigrate to Finland, and a Finn can still immigrate to Ireland. The passports give us the rights to live in each other's countries and avail of the services offered by each other’s governments, but they don’t change our respective biology. Not to mention that people often emigrate for opportunities, love, a change of scenery or culture, not because they want different laws to apply to them. Men and women are men and women because of biology, but the laws that treat us differently can always be amended to treat us equally.

But I can get a Finnish passport nonetheless.

And men can get a "woman passport" now too in many places and it allows them full access to women's spaces. Even though they will never be women [same for women LARPing as men], they can get legal entitlements. This terrifies me. People getting legal new birth certificates with a LIE printed on it.

I love Children of Bodom. My favourite band. Alexi Laiho is one of my favourite guitarists and vocalists. It’s a shame the band split up, but thankfully, Alexi wrote all the songs and owns them, so he can still play them again after he’s formed a new band, Bodom after Midnight. Hope they will be just as good.

My favorite is when FTM say they hate "fujoshi" (Literally what they are - Women who fetishize gay men/are fans of yaoi manga) but turn around and say that yaoi "made them realize they were gay boys"

What these fucking idiots don't understand that Yaoi is NOTHING like reality and it's actually rather discriminatory/sexist, the smaller or more feminine male is always the "bottom" and is often depicted as being abused by the other male. Don't get me wrong, real homosexual relationships aren't happiness and rainbows either (especially if you are a feminine guy) but my point is, the fact that these (usually teenage) girls are reading smut full of rape, abuse, sadomasochism etc and then use it as something to look up to and BECOME disturbs me.

[–][deleted] 22 insightful - 1 fun22 insightful - 0 fun23 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

yaoi is bizarre (even just scratching the surface of it). the "feminine" type ones are basically girls without breasts, and for the most part the characters act, think, behave like women do (as stories written by women for women that's no surprise). The relationships depicted would probably have more in common with a heterosexual relationship, or a lesbian one (where they're both feminine) than a real life gay one. It always stumped me that none of these girls would go from reading bara (which is written for a gay male audience by gay men) to being trans men. I guess the men in bara actually look like men because they're built, have body hair, and dad bods and I would assume actually act like irl men. It seems to me the yaoi is more a function of women exploring female sexuality, but just without women's bodies and the more superficial aspects of femininity. It's sad these girls mistake this for actual reality or a representation of gay male relationships. That, and a lot of them would be autoandrophilic.

I think there is something here. Because the feminine one is one step removed from the woman (by being a "man") it allows them to explore unequal power dynamics in hetero relationships and the way men will be violent and controlling towards women. Like I don't think this is just why they like yaoi (it's porn, duh), but I think it could explain why the famale one tends to be controlled and abused and why they might prefer yaoi with a feminine man vs a straight romance.

I believe some bara (which is majority written by gay men) is also starting to get there too with the sexual violence. For example, Gengoroh Tagame is known for his graphic sexual violence, hypermasculinity, and sadomasochism. Nothing wrong with that since it's fiction but some bara and yaoi? holy shit...

Trans ideology makes them think that. You ARE what you identify as. That means gay men are attracted to you.

They don't want a boyfriend that likes women, they're surrounded by media messages that hetero relationships are inherently adversarial and full of buried resentment. I find myself wondering how many young transitioners are children of divorce/single parenthood. (There's nothing wrong with either of these things of course, sometimes it is for the best.)

Honestly, while fighting for the rights of same sex relationships to be respected and supported, we should have also emphasised that opposite sex relationships are also still important. We also should have tackled the factors that make having families undesirable for a lot of straight people, such as unemployment, community breakdown, overtaxation, poor education and healthcare systems, costs of living, lack of love of one’s own country and people, and so on.

          [–]BiHorror 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

True. Then there's also the LGBTQ+ that talk down to straight people that probably adds to it. Explains why so many want to be LGB, to get away from "boring" straight. Which then just gives ammo for actual homo/biphobes.

I had a dad who "sent me to my room and told me to cut that shit out" when he discovered me cutting. Surprisingly that didn't cure my mental issues, considering he never tried to empathize with me or get to the root cause of why I was doing it. It just taught me to hide my awful habit better. Taught me that I couldn't rely on my "tough love" father for help. I can't imagine it'd be any different for these girls.

Yeah. One time I wondered if I was being a jerk and unfairly judging the neovaginas. So, I went to a bunch of trans subs and looked at around 250 photos of results they were happy with. I saw two that looked passable. Even then, the fact that there would be no muscle, natural lubricant, g spot, or cervix would be a dead give away from the second it was touched. I really don’t get who they think they’re going to fool.

yup same goes for the "it's just like the real thing" arm penis. if it gives them a sense that they're now a real man/woman good for them and honestly if it aleviates dysphoria great! but telling others there is no difference and they're bigots if they want the real thing? yeah nooooooo

So many posts about going stealth and trying to trick you guys.

Us, and straight men from what I seen. Not sure how straight women are holding up with transmen tho.

can only speak for a few years ago, on tinder I'd find the odd transman or transwoman, besides that I've personally had a few incidents of "woke" people close to me tell me I shouldn't be afraid of vag, that a neopenis is the same and/or a transman can always use a dildo for that Penis effect, that I need to get over my unconscious bias.. etc. I imagine it would be worse if I was still in an anglophone country.

Their engorged clits make me cross my legs and wince.

Between fake penises vs enlarged clit... The fake parts are worst for me. The phallophasty look so obviously unatural. Shit looks more uncomfortable, and enlarged clits still look like clits at least.

Jesus christ, there are 25k subscribers on that trans-identified female kink sub. That is a lot.

Also, how is this anything other than a fetish?? (slurs starred out)

Tell me how I’m a lil f***** playing dress up to please men on the internet (no misgendering/yes to feminizing namecalling ex. b**** or c***...

Does anyone know how to do that "spoiler" formatting by the way? This stuff is worth talking about but I kind of want to shield the eyes of the teenagers on this sub...

I could be surprised... Unfortunately, I'm not. Because majority of the things listed in that link, you can see in normal (actual women and men) porn/sexual areas.

But there's a certain pattern I'm noticing among them... Rape, breeding, degradation, etc. Two out of three you would think that make them dysphoric.

ok those mostly just look like vaginas lol. No way those look anyway like dick. Like it's pretty obvious 99% of gay men wouldn't be ito that...

Almost as bad as that Mister Metokur video I keep linking on this sub.

I probably should have waited until after dinner before clicking that link. At least dinner is still... 55 minutes away.

"If you want to be the opposite gender"

Well no, fetishist. You can't. You're born one gender, and you'll die as such. Regardless if you get multiple types of surgery and drugs to alter your appearance. Fuck, this shit is infuriating.

From the OP of the meme, in regards to the fujoshi thing:

[...]it's perfectly logical that trans masc people who like men

You know your ideology is weak when you start stepping backwards. "Oh no, I'm not a transman, I'm just transitioning to be masculine." Note: as far as I am aware, "transmasc" is not used interchangeably with transman. It's literally transtrender nonsense of being trans without actually having gender dysphoria.

[...]latch onto mlm relationships before they realize they're trans because they see some representation in them but also because that sort of media is easily accessible

"This relationship looks healthy and I desire to have one like it" =/= "I am a gay man just in like my Japanese animes". Not to mention these relationships come from porn. Japanese gay porn, specifically, because I never see these people talk about desiring a healthy relationship like any straight anime couples. Its always yaoi, thus, fujoshi.

These type of straight women need to step away from their phones/computers and come back to reality.

This is definitely a fetish/game for them. As straights they have so many options but to target a group that are not attracted to them is just pathetic and they need to get a life.

The fact that one of them said that she thought she was a lesbian makes me think some of them are straight girls looking for a relationship between two equals and not the typical abusive straight relationship with a guy. It is known that a lot of ftms change sexuality after the transition and they mostly become bisexuals.

I wonder if it’s because straight women are the least genital-enthused of the different sexual orientations. I know this is a hot take but my impression is the average woman is really not into penis. Like penis is, at best, a means to an end. I have never heard any of my straight female friends talk especially fondly about penis (including long before they knew I was a lesbian). Like there’s very occasional mention of size or shape if the penis is at an extreme but I never hear awe, appreciation, or enthusiasm. Not hard to imagine why because societal standards have made heterosexual sex deeply unsatisfying for most women. And the vast majority of women cannot orgasm from PIV alone. Also it’s common that male and female bodies fit together in ways that make it really difficult for the PIV sex to stimulate the most pleasure parts of a vulva or vagina, let alone any pleasurable part.

So I would be surprised if a penis is not really all that essential for some heterosexual women to be attracted to a partner. And since T is kind of intense, I wonder if two especially well-passing heterosexual female trans guys can legitimately be attracted to one another, and not in that dead inside way that TRAs use to pressure relationships (“You don’t have to look at/touch/think about my genitals.”)

I know a girl like this. She's fetishized gay men since middle school, then socially transitioned in high school and would snap at you in class if you used the wrong pronouns. Clearly very healthy all around.
