Why can’t trans people just overcome their gender preference instead of demanding everyone else overcome their “genital preference?”

I wonder how Reddit mods would act like in an actual vocal argument with someone regarding trans issues when they can't randomly ban you or silence you lol.

I've argued with SJW types in the real world. You know what they do? They fall awkwardly silent. The best thing to do, should you come across one, is to play dumb and keep asking questions. Because then you get to watch them realize their arguments unravel before your very eyes and ears. When keyboard warriors don't hide behind a screen there's nothing they can do.

I've seen plenty of people online threaten people with violence for using the wrong pronouns but the worst I've seen it in real life was a very quiet "u-um I'm a... they...". When they have to say it out loud, I think they start to realize how stupid they are.

Exactly. Someone suggested this idea to me a few weeks ago here and I decided to try it out. (I work in a very woke environment.) Here are some of the conversations I’ve played dumb to since then:

*Libertarians are evil and want to ruin America

*Trump is a homophobe.

*Pence wants to put gays in concentration camps

*JKR is a transphobe.

*Nonbinary people are a real thing

Every single one of these has ended with the person tripping over their words and getting quieter before finally shutting up.

Yep! I had someone rant about "TERFs" irl so I played super dumb, asked them what that meant, and then got them to explain it.

"What's a TERF?" "Trans exclusionary radical feminist" "But what does that mean" "A type of feminist that hates trans people" "Why do they hate them"

Etc.

I've had SJW types scream in my face b/f. Maybe your SJWs were more polite than mine? I'm jealous.

I met few screaming ones too. I think they are screaming to us more because we are women, as for my gay friend those same people were silent other day, when he was asking similar to my questions.

They were screaming because you're amazing hot woman and they cannot be nor have you ;)

Ah so good old fashioned sexism. These fucking people are so regressive. Were they raised in the 1950s?

I would like to sit in at a Reddit Board meeting with a squirt gun and spritz each person in the face every time they mess up gender or pronouns or assume someone’s gender including celebrities’ without verifying. And I would make sure to tell them “Do Better”‘and occasionally throw in an “Educate Yourself” or “It’s not my job to teach you how to not be a transphobe!” Gotta keep them on their toes.

Why is he doubling down and attacking her even more??? Is it not enough that this young woman is "freaking out" over her own natural sexuality? Is it not enough that she's "challenging" her own assumptions that a woman has a vagina? Is it not enough that she's worried sick about being a good partner to this hypothetical trans woman? I hope this hateful, bitter POS dies a virgin.

The silver lining here is that the majority of these people are so off-putting they'll likely never breed. I mean seriously only someone who's never had a sexual relationship and doesn't understand how they work would say 'you don't inspect someone's genitals when you find them attractive'. Well, no but secondary sex characteristic are indications of primary ones, just like that one commenter with the wax apple example said. Instead of telling lesbians to 'unlearn their genital preference' why doesn't this guy unlearn his rapey lesbian fetish.

I love it. The social construct that must not be named.

the majority of these people are so off-putting they'll likely never breed.

They are also unlikely to have offspring because the hormone blockers and other medical interventions will have sterilized them and caused other health problems. :/

Looks like the TRA Reddit mods were asleep.

r/TIA mods are supportive of GC positions. The real question is how long before they end up on the flat end of the Admin banhammer.

The woke bros endorsing this are the same people who have said pre-trans ; "Lesbians just haven't had the right dick".

"Reeee cisses and their sexuality reeeeee! Damn you, cis!!1"

The crazy ramblings of a deranged gender loon. They invented a term for normal people and they are always whining about them. Cis this, cis that. It's always the same mad screeching.

As an aside: Fun fact. If you comment "girldick" or "girl dick" anywhere on youtube the comment will disappear if you wait a bit and then refresh. You can even try this on your own privated video and the comment will still be removed in about 20 seconds. There's also passages you can type criticising gender ideology that will just not get past the woke filter no matter how much you edit it. But I've not yet isolated other trans-related trigger words.

Neat. Is your hot take that YouTube is pretending that the girldick pressures don’t exist? I’d say what will the trans do without such a word in the comments but they have other tools in their jackass tool belt to choose from. I’ve noticed that whenever there’s a video that has anything even remotely to do with lesbians or female bisexuals the top comments just look like the standard comment section on r/AL. Complete with anime avatars. All “I’m so gay” “I’m such a bottom” “Step on me” stuff. It is making all of us look the biggest group of weirdos with no social skills. I shudder to think of anyone who sees this and thinks this is how lesbians or bisexuals are.

[–]8bitgay 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

you don't inspect a girl's genitals before finding her attractive

No, but there's an assumption that she won't have male genitalia.

If you like apples, and see an apple and think that apple looks tasty, only to find out it's an apple made of wax, that doesn't mean you secretly enjoy eating wax fruit.

Never thought about this analogy before but it's good.

Also where are the comments saying that "obviously you can have genital preferences! No trans people ever says otherwise! No one is forcing you to have sex with [opposite sex genital]"? Funny how these comments that are usually so popular are nowhere to be seen in threads like this one, uh?

They might also say that these tweets are just an isolated case, even though they have 100+ likes (the original tweet has 200+ likes now).

[–]chazzstrong 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Am I the only person who differentiates physical attraction and sexual attraction?
Like, I can find someone attractive as a person, they can check the 'hot' box easily, but that doesn't mean I want to fuck them. That's just the first in a short list of boxes I've got to check before the friction can happen. This doesn't even seem that hard of a concept, to me.
Being attractive does not GUARANTEE you sexual gratification! I know they want it that way, given that most of them are as shallow as a puddle and about as intellectually diverse as one as well, but that's not how it works.

Gendercynical freaking out over this same post:

Granted, I didn't really need the poop visuals, either. But they completely missed the point in the screenshot.

That thread is cancer. Just nonsensical projection. Who is more obsessed with genitals and language control than trans people? And TERFs have AGP lol? If TERFs are women, how can we have AGP? And the constant denial of the things they constantly and openly do is so tired. I always come to the conclusion that there is little value in reading anything at Gender Cynical. It’s all just brainwashing each other to repeat certain positions so that everyone knows what position they’re supposed to take while acting demonstrably inconsistently with their stated positions.
