If he's still a minor, he's losing all phone/computer/tv/video games/etc privileges. He's going to actual therapy to work through this and he can have all his tech privileges back when he's grown and moves out of the house and buys it himself. If he's an adult, it's the same thing. I'm changing the WiFi password, all my streaming passwords, and it's no technology in my house. I'll pay for actual therapy and he has 90 days to get his crap together and find other living accomodations.

That's me being extra nice. More than likely, I won't have my adult son living with me and if he still said something like this when we talked, I'd cut communication until he apologized and I felt comfortable he wouldn't verbally abuse me like that again.

When I kept seeing post after post on actuallesbians and article after article on mainstream lesbian sites telling lesbians to accept dick and how we need to unpack our aversion to it and we can still date transbians and just not touch it during sex but we absolutely cannot say no to them. I'd just accepted myself as lesbian after years of confusion then a bit of time in denial and felt furious that someone was telling me I had no say over who invited themselves into my bed and I had to accept men in my dating pool. I'm also a live and let live person and it really annoyed me that the lgbt "community" was behaving like this. It all peaked me.

I joined right at the beginning of the end for a ton of online lesbian communities and it was horrific to see all these lesbian places get decimated from the inside out and no one else speak up in support of us. Everyone was telling us to include men in our spaces and our beds or we were horrible people. We were fetishists for only being attracted to women. It peaked me a second time.

I was more masculine as a young kid and was more feminine in my late teens/early 20s. I'd say I still lean more feminine in how I dress but I'm right in the middle in terms of interests. I don't think my definition of womanhood changed at all throughout the entire process. If I do it, it's automatically a part of womanhood for me.

Like the poster above me said, please work on getting financially independent. If you're in the US, then you're either one or two years away from college/adulthood. Plan to go somewhere where you'll have a better chance at meeting other lesbians. Get a degree or go into a career field that will put food on the table and keep a roof over your head. It is isolating now because yes, this is the time where a lot of heterosexual girls are boy crazy, but maybe finding fun hobbies or activities might help you feel less isolated. Connect with others while doing a shared activity so maybe it'll lessen the opportunity for boy talk. I know that's probably difficult now too with everything going on with coronavirus. Just know that once you're an adult, your life can be what you make it and there are a lot of women out there just like you.

Also, you are normal. You're not weird or abnormal because you're SSA.

I don't see anything wrong with this. You like who you like especially when it comes to someone you plan on being physical with. I've had it happen to me and I've also been the person stepping away after seeing their pictures. I think it would be worse to lead someone on out of guilt or pity. I like women who are taller than me (I'm 5'1) and I tend to lean towards women with average body shape or a woman with a little extra weight. I like someone with curves and a stocky build over someone with a very athletic or skinny body type. How they dress doesn't matter to me.

My weight fluctuates but now that I've slimmed down, I'd say I have more of an hourglass figure (at least that's what I've been told) but I still got a little chubbiness on me. lol

This is correct. There aren't a ton of lesbians out there. We have few numbers in the grand total of human population and we are only attracted to other women. Now there are a ton of people calling themselves lesbians who don't meet the criteria, and it's not only incorrect but disingenuous to say you're a part of a specific group while knowing you truly aren't.

The thing these people don't get is that even if most people aren't 100% anything, there are people who are. It's the same with the spectrum argument. There are clearly groups at the opposite ends of the spectrum even if it's only a few people. Everybody isn't sitting in the middle.

I'm from the US, in my thirties and came out in my late twenties.

I really don't know who all knows that I'm gay in my family. I told a few relatives and told them it was fine if they wanted to tell everyone else. I don't really care who else knows or their reactions to this. There are a few people whose opinions I value and I told them directly. I'm not troubling myself with everyone else.

My coming out experience to them was pretty nonchalant. I said I was gay and I got a mixture of okays and one relative told me she already knew that (she said several people in my family figured that I was gay back when I was a teenager). Same thing with my friends. Most of them said they knew since we were kids which surprised me because I didn't even know at that time.

I kind of wish someone would have pulled me to the side when I was younger and told me that I was gay. It would have saved me several years of confusion, worrying about coming out, and I missed opportunities. 😅

Harry Potter themed. The tables would be split in house colors, the guests would be encouraged to wear the color for their house. My dress would be green and silver and my wife's whatever color she wants. I want the venue old and rustic like Hogwarts. It would be a summer wedding in the evening. Food would be a collection of things from the Harry Potter cookbook. Invitations would be Hogwarts acceptance letters. The reception would be filled with dancing and little Harry Potter themed games like house sorting quiz, photo booth with HP costumes, etc. This is only in a perfect world if we were super rich and could afford a wedding planner to handle all the details and headaches. I just want to show up and be impressed. Lol

In the real world, I'd still have my green and silver dress and get married at the courthouse and use the extra money on a Harry Potter tour for our honeymoon.

Honestly, it's hard out here on these dating apps. Everything you're describing is something I've experienced too and even in the city, it's hard to meet other lesbians (especially with covid going on). Most of the time it's not your profile, it's the crappy search features on these dating apps. One thing I can suggest is changing your location to see if you'll get new matches. You can always mention in your profile that you're not actually in that area. Basically, you have to beat the system to get good matches because they're algorithms suck.

I've always liked women but I didn't realize I was a lesbian until my 20s then looking back I was like, "wow, I was so gay and didn't even know it". 😅

Me coming out to myself was like the universe finally slapping me in the face because the gentle nudges weren't working. I was watching a show that had a coming out arch and it was so similar to what I was feeling that I finally realized "oh shit, I'm gay!" Like everything made sense, my lack of interest in men and not wanting to date them and all my crushes that I didn't know were crushes at the time. At one point I thought I was asexual because I had zero interest in men. That was also the first year I fell hard for a woman and knew for a fact I was gay. Apparently, everyone else around me knew I was a lesbian long before I did. 😂
