I hope an actual person sits down and reads these responses.

Yep. Banning TL was the nail in the coffin for me.

I just came from deleting about 10 seconds ago.

Lol. Right on. I just deleted mine and told them they should be ashamed, and that it’s not hateful to be a lesbian

Almost forgot about that. Gonna nuke the comments/posts and delete as soon as I get home.

Yep! Replaced all my comments with "censored by Reddit: a site that silences lesbians and women". Even got banned from AL before I left too!

Mainly keeping it so I can redirect people to saidit and alternatives, not gonna be using it much though - reddit went the crazy route

I deleted mine and put in a complaint about TL being banned. I used reddit for a lot of academic and personal hobby stuff though, so I don't know if I'll be able to stay off it for good.

However, I do really wish reddit would end and we would go back to Ye Olde internet days where everything had separate websites and forums instead of huge conglomerates like Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit. Online communities felt closer-knit back then and the internet was just more interesting in general.

Same. I miss the old days where everything was on a separate website or forum. Having everything in on spot like reddit just shows how easy it is to censor people.

Deleted with a similar note. Fuck Reddit

I haven’t. I use Reddit for arts and craft inspiration and I love sharing my project with people for criticism or just because. But at the same time, I want to since it’s become a toxic place for LGB.

Yes, aside from banning every subs I cared about, learning that I was subscribed to a sub that was moderated by Aimee Challenor was enough for me...

What sub was Aimee Challenor moderating??

It was the SupergirlTV one. He actually mods a couple of dozen subs under the username "bpwpb". Here is a full list.

This whole Reddit ban wave has been very eye opening. I didn't realize how many subreddits some people modded and how much that really does create an echo chamber.

Yeah Reddit has a big problem with power mods, it's crazy how many subs some of them are mods for. At one point there was a list circulating on Reddit showing this problem and there was a lot of censorship of it. I initially saw it because of a post on Gender Critical about it, which eventually got removed by the Reddit Anti-Evil Operations team.

Holy sh-- okay, I lurked daily. Although I stopped participating (under an older username) as soon as this hellhole went full on lesbophobic around S2 over posts about Sanvers, pride events Chyler and Floriana went to, that kind of stuff. It was super innocent, like posting pics from events. Not posts with heavy shipping and antagonizing stuff. But somehow the same sub is head over heels in love with Nia/Nicole Maines. IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW.

Yes, with a similar reason given.
