Sooooooo, like, we're just gonna ignore the fact that women attempt suicide more than men? by Maryam in PinkPillFeminism

I think women's mental health is generally worse than men's. I read somewhere anxiety and depression are like twice as common in women, so don't let anyone tell you it's worse in men.

I really wonder what their reaction would be if they were treated like lesbians and told they need to experience the 'mouth feel' of a feminine penis. Like i'm actually not sure how they'd react. Maybe they'd say they would but then never actually follow through.

I think this is evidence it's more about control than them being offended. It could also explain why they keep intruding on women's health subs that have nothing to do with them.

Yeah, I notice in their inclusivity update post they kind of skirt around what really happened. They don't even mention the post that kicked all this off. I notice there's also a suspiciously small number of comments, they're probably deleting the users who disagree. This so sad, I can't believe trans gender people's feelings are valued over women with a health condition.

It's so silly, they aren't fooling anyone that they're woke now. Reddit is well known for being kind of like 4chan with the racism and sexism. The majority of the users there are 'problematic', and they can't ban everyone. I hope they do just die honestly.

It's gross that he'd add in the 'but' as if shaving helping his dysphoria somehow overrides you and the other women enjoying not having to shave. He doesn't realise how lucky he is that he can shave or not shave whenever and not get shit for it.

Why would I say people when that group is almost all men? Not mentioning them doesn't mean I don't think they exist, you assumed that.

I didn't assume that, you assumed that I meant that. I mention men and not women because being honest, it is mainly men that troll/derail things, but it can rarely also be women.

You should try reading https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/45892240-the-better-half. Everything i've said came from there and has sources for everything. It also explains some basic concepts in genetics, which I think might be useful for you.

Honestly I think it's fine for them to teach that in schools without the parents getting a say. I think they should be allowed to teach it, but then if the parents really don't want their kids to know then they can keep them off for that day or something. Just to be clear, I don't think kids should be forced to learn about it if the parents really don't want, but I also don't think some parents should have the power to stop it from being taught to all the kids. Teaching kids about it is just giving them the information, they can decide from there whether they agree with it or not, so I don't think that's the same as forcing them to have certain viewpoints, unless they get in trouble for disagreeing with something of course. Sort of like how all kids are taught about evolution, but then they can decide from there whether they want to accept it or not.

Free speech just means you get to say what you want as long as you aren't enticing violence, it doesn't mean everyone has to listen and respond to you. I think that's what the person above is saying, that we should all be able to say what we want, but if men come in here and try to force us to debate we don't have to. I don't see how they're trying to 'have their cake and eat it too' honestly, free speech doesn't mean you owe everyone a response. Like for example, lots of feminist subreddits had separate debate or ask subreddits so that men could ask questions/debate there and not constantly derail conversations.

The guy who wrote that article doesn't seem to have any background in biology and it doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. The human Y chromosome has 50-60 functioning genes that are mostly involved in sperm production. Whereas the X chromosomes have around 800-900 functioning genes each that affect a range of things like immune function, colour vision and mental abilities. Men only having one X chromosome is thought to be the reason why men generally suffer more from infectious diseases, colour blindness and intellectual disabilities. Also, the Y chromosome cannot recombine with the X chromosome during DNA replication like the other chromosome pairs, because the X chromosome would destroy it. Recombination helps to eliminate genetic mutations, which is what this guys really means when he says the Y is 'evolving faster'. And lastly, the X chromosome having more genetic material means that the gap between women and men is similar to the gap between humans and chimps. I don't mean this insultingly, just pointing out that it's silly to pick out something like this and use it to say a sex is less evolved when genetics really can't be simplified like that.
