The problem is not with radfems associating themselves with us it's with libfems associating us with radfems. Radfems are defending the hardwon rights of women. And quite frankly I'd say that the current incarnation of radical feminism is a creation of libfems. It's women pushing back against them.

Now I'm not going to say radfems are all great, they have a real problem with people pretending to be lesbians when they're not just because they're mad at men, or saying absolutely terrible shit about men (I saw on Tumblr a radfems proudly proclaiming she would abort any male fetus... ) But so far they have been one of the only groups to consistently fight against TRA nonsense.

So I'm trying to learn Spanish right now and it's been an exciting and fun journey but it's given me some perspective on learning languages. Pronouns are not something you can just insert any random crap you want. It's not like nouns or verbs where you can kind of just add anything. In linguistics, this is referred to as a closed class of words. It's like if a group of people decided that the word "that" was offensive and we had to use something that they just made up in completely unclear situations. And imagine learning English as a second language and then encountering these people. The most frustrating part is that supposedly, this type of language is more accurate and more accessible because apparently, transmen and whatever other females who don't consider themselves female, might not know they need to get pap smears. But a study done in the UK showed that a significant portion of women don't know what a cervix is or where it is in the female body. So how are they supposed to know that "individuals with a cervix" applies to them? It would be so simple to say "Women and transmen". Regarding same sex adoption, ever work at a court house in the family division and see the utter dysfunction some straight couples have? I saw one man who was so mad at his ex, he paraded around naked pictures of his daughter to "prove" she was abusing her and nearly went to jail for child porn possession. Another man, again, angry at his ex stole 200000 dollars from his children's college fund and attempted to fuck off to Mexico before being caught by the feds and brought back in which he told us fuck you I hate my kids IN FRONT of them and said he would never give the money back. Cases where relatives are obviously abusing the children and parents are letting it happen. In those cases, can you REALLY say that these kids would be worse off with loving same sex parents? People I've seen who work in social work see worse shit than this and they agree, it's less about having a mom or a dad, especially if one or both is dysfunctional but about having people willing to love and care for the child and having the means to do it. If a gay couple can give a child the love and care they deserve I don't see why that should be prevented especially given the situation many children would be stuck in. There's not enough people willing to adopt right now especially if the child is a little older or a minority baby. So, many times, you wouldn't be taking away a child's chance to be adopted by a normal couple, that child might not get to be adopted ever and would stay in the system.

What you're saying isn't really proof that same sex desire exists in everyone. Like I believe that there are probably more bisexuals(the kinsey .9s and the 5.9s) than we think, but that doesn't mean that everyone is bi or has the potential for same or opposite sex desire. So in the times of Sparta etc, it might have been more accepted for those already bi people to express their bisexuality. And I'm not even talking scientifically here, I'm just talking about what people say about the subject. There's some research and some ignorant people who seem to believe that all women are bi or "don't have a sexuality" as I saw one guy say, but I've met women who were 100% straight. One girl wouldn't even kiss another girl for 200$ because the thought disgusted her so much. "Ugh, it would be like kissing my mom, no offense" was what she said to the proposal. Most men report no sexual attraction to other men. I mean, I think its kind of rude to respond to a person telling you "I'm not attracted to these people" with, "you could be/you are its just society saying otherwise". Its remarkably close to TRA arguments.

Also, NO opposite sex desire is NOT grounded in male domination or female slavery. Straight people's sexual desire is for the opposite sex regardless of how they feel about sex stereotypes. Many straight women don't like being dominated sexually and prefer sex to be more equal between partners yet they are still straight. They go and find men willing to accommodate them, they don't go to having sex with women. And the rare cases of submissive straight dudes I've seen would rather stay celibate than fuck another man.

Yeah, this doc is total nonsense. There's just way too much in there about being disappointed in or scared of relationships with men and well, unfortunately, that's extremely common with straight/bisexual women. But it's not a sign that you're a lesbian otherwise, most women would be lesbians. It really is a simple matter of sexual attraction, can really just be boiled down to, when you see men have you ever gotten a crush on one or wanted to have sex with one? When you see a woman have you ever gotten a crush on one or wanted to have sex with one?

So, it wasn't that people just decided to divorce gender nonconformity with homosexuality, it was that for a time, there was a lot of effort put into being against stereotypes all together. When I was growing up, it was, your daughter's a tomboy now but this doesn't necessarily mean she will grow up to be a lesbian. And this was also being done at a time where people were being told girls can do anything boys can, all children should be able to play with any toy they want, etc etc. This has kind of reversed itself in recent times and I do believe that trans people are ultimately responsible for this.

What I think is happening is that because trans women are saying what they think makes them women are getting a lot of media attention, this has made its way back down to the rest of society and because their views of what women are are so warped, everyone else's views of women get warped too. You see transwomen saying how they knew they were women because they loved high heels, or being submissive or they loved make up or hated sports, so now what happens if you're a young woman who hates that stuff or loves sports? Easy. You're just not a woman any more! In a sense, TRAs have expanded what gender non conformity is, because it doesn't fit their own vision of what a women is.

As for butches and feminine guys, I believe they are transitioning because the trans movement is essentially telling you "you are too masculine to be a women so you might as well be a man" or "you are too feminine to be a man so you might as well be a woman". Less to do with the correlation of being gender non conforming with being gay and more to do with the trans rights movement having extremely rigid gender roles. The erasure of gay people is a bonus.

TBH I'd rather transwomen just keep their dicks. The results of these surgeries are horrific and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Lesbians and straight men won't have sex with them regardless because they will always be male, so they might as well keep their functioning genitalia.

There was a really bizarre case in the UK regarding a lesbian pretending to be a man doing this, but it involved the victim wearing a blindfold every time they had sex and the victim herself even admitted that she was "a naive and gullible person". Anyway, the lesbian went to prison for this and it was just weird all around. Sso I guess it's possible if the wife is just kinda dumb maybe?? To be quite frank, one of the things that would help a lot is dropping the TQ+ and reasserting ourselves as functioning normal members of society. I've spoken to people from these homophobic countries and they tell me a big part of why it is so hard to change their laws is because they look to the western world as a template for what would happen if they legalized being gay and they don't like what they see. To a lesser extent, this does also apply to women's rights. They see all the problems we see with TQ+ and apply it to the rest of LGBT and say to themselves "well if we legalize homosexuality, we too will end up with all their problems".

Yeah I wouldn't use compulsory heterosexuality either, most of the concepts it talks about are mental gymnastics so straight or bisexual women can dismiss legitimate attraction to men so they can pretend to be lesbians. There's a comp het master doc that says things like "do you have crushes on fictional male characters or male celebrities or otherwise unattainable men?" As one of the things that suggests you're a lesbian. Or having a previous male partner come out as a transwoman as a sign you're a lesbian.

Yeah. I remember when it used to be "no means no" and enthusiastic consent was encouraged(instead of just putting up with garbage sex, how many times have TRAs suggested that to gays and lesbians) and sex positivity was meant to deal with religious based repression. And now all of the things that were supposed to be positive influences have become twisted and are used to attempt to force others into doing what someone else wants them to do. Like on Twitter a while back I saw a screenshot of a guy saying that a woman was antifeminist for not sending him nudes because that wasn't sex positive and meant she was ashamed of her body.

B needs a rework because at least on the women's side of things, there's way too many, mostly heterosexual, women pretending to be lesbians or more into women than they are so they can seem trendy or more appealing to men. I think right now we're stuck. LGB people functionally cannot make their own spaces publically at the moment without being called bigots. Even if you did ban every one of them, they might try and dox people on the app, dox the creators of the app, or attack funding or advertisers.

Because I can't agree that children's attraction is an honest representation of their sexuality. Many people have no sexual attraction to anyone at all before puberty and almost none of them go on to be asexual as adults. As for children who do have crushes, I would question whether ANY crush, straight or gay was real, prepuberty. Teens most certainly have the ability to have crushes and legitimate relationships etc so I would say if you are crushing on men/boys as a teen then you are, at least a little bisexual.
