Arrest the gay man or lesbian but the trans person tho? They're free from it because they're obviously the most "oppressed" in the world (despite only having 11 countries having transition illegal).

Slurs and Hipocrisy by [deleted] in LGBDropTheT

[–]BiHorror 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

If we're going by historical context (just as we go about TQ+ using queer), those are insults with ableist origin. Dumb used to refer to those who couldn't speak and/or were deaf due to congenital reasons, stupid is based on stupor, idiot is mental/learning disabilities. It's similar to the f-g (used to mean something else before became a slur towards same sex attraction alongside queer). Fool? As far as I know, that isn't ableist and was used for jesters. Although, let's be honest here, I wouldn't be surprised. You got terms like hysterical/hysteria (which some would consider that sexist for justified reasons).

What I'm talking about is that we (as in the sub) seem to very quick to go after TQ+ and their usage of what could be considered slurs (ex queer, although some would say that has been "reclaimed") when we also allow discriminatory language on here to go free. We compare these people and what they do to those with mental disorders. We also use said mental disorders as insults.

  • short reply: Basically, we're using mental disorders, something people with disabilities have no control over, as negative connotations to describe the behaviors of TQ+.

Not all them but it's like their decent ones are the minority? It's weird. Their loudmouth of the group seem to be the majority and I feel bad because I'm sure it's not all of them but they barely call out those who make the whole group look bad. They can go from racist, homo/biphobic, and just plain rude but it's not as called out as you would think it be... Which is funny for the racist bit because they're following non white groups.

[–]BiHorror 13 insightful - 3 fun13 insightful - 2 fun14 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Mulan isn't a man nor is Shang gay or bi since he was attracted to someone of the female sex (if you could even call it attraction. When I look at it, it's more admiration than anything). I dislike how men admiring each other is being seen as a non-heterosexual thing...

They see her as a "transman" becuase she's not conforming to sex stereotypes/roles. Which is funny becuase she didn't do that out of choice, she did it to go to war in place of her father, then went back to being pretty feminine at the end of the movie.

Yeah, I read another woman said that in a YT comment section. I always thought it sounded like "sis" 1st. Which is hilarious and doesn't help their case when they decide to use "cissy" as an insult... But, we all know damn well how they react if you used a term T slur that ends with the same y at the end.

If they want a prefix, let's put ACTUAL in front. Actual women. Actual men

Not even. Just women and men. As for them, they can get the prefix, although I always seen the prefix as making them out to be a type of woman/man (ex: black women, Muslim men, disabled woman/man, etc) when in reality they're not even close.

First, they wanted to create a distinction between sex and gender

[–]BiHorror 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Nope. If you look it up, both feminists/GC and TRAs adopted his works into their own ideologies. He who started the downgrading of a term that used to be for grammar and another way of saying sex (in the past but dropped out of style until he repopularized it with his gender vs sex distinction BS), and GC adopted that while TRAs went with the feelings/perception route. He's also the one who comes up when you search in who coined the term "gender" (within "societial expectations" definition).

You should discuss instead of accusing me of lying. It's no different to how TRAs act, mate.

This, fucking thank you! I'm depised the mental illness but I understand that these people need help. I was groomed as a child, and this "face the wall" worries me too. Because, what people don't understand that most pedos were also CSA survivors themselves. So, what then? Are we just gonna start going after survivors? Regardless if they do gain the illness or not? How will that even work?

Not to mention, that the diagnosis age limit starts at 14 to 15 years old. Are we gonna make teengers (who, remember, were sexually abused as children and their brain developed this way because of the trauma) "face the wall?"

Yeah... Mate, I get you but I'm mixed race and that's a bit uncomfortable to be comparing the two. Especially considering what exactly the one drop rule was used for. It would be better if you used like a favorite food example (like this example someone used on a post I made about hetero/homoflexibility: those who just like really really like cupcakes and those who just like it). But, at the end of the day, if you're attracted to both sexes, im pretty sure you ain't gay/straight. You would be bisexual or homo/heteroflexible.

There's no spectrum in hetero- and homosexuality. They're sexually attracted 100% to the same or opposite sex. If they have a preference within that sexuality, it's still not a spectrum in itself. Gay men who like feminine, masculine, androgynous men are still gay.

Labels are important when they are used to describe and signal things. All for gay men, lesbians, and bisexuals.

Mate, I dislike TRAs but that's completely wrong. TRAs didn't conflate, they're the ones who want it separated because that's where their "gender identity" comes into the picture.

Gender and sex were always conflated, especially in mainstream. Before current times, it still was (dropped out of fashion), besides being used as grammatical gender. So, TRAs weren't even the ones who started that.

As for "gender =/= sex" that was feminists (who adopted John Money's works). TRAs came into the picture when stuff like queer/"gender" theory came about. That's where NBs come into the picture. TRAs were enabled, ex their "multiple genders," when sex and gender became separated.

I always found it weird when they refer to it as "girl dick" considering girl means a female child... Do they want to be "girls" or do they want to be "women"? Even tho they're neither but still. Also, sounds like a fetishistic term.

Sex and gender are the same thing. It's sex roles that's created by society. Stereotypes do hold some true to them, but obviously not for all, like me, but that does not rule over the majority. Honestly, GC and TRAs are also alike when it comes to manipulating the English language.

How are feminists mentally ill? The normal breed just promote equity between women and men. That's not mental illness. If anything, that's disrespectful since you're watering down what it means to be mentally ill.

Lol at Disappointmentparty's comments. Nevertheless, is it non-consensual to withheld vital information, fellas? They say it's up to the TW to let someone know but then around and cry wolf if someone else makes a comparison to withholding info of age or having AIDS.

When I used watch Blaire White, they also said something similar to that. Majority of cases where TW are assaulted or killed is due to them not informing their partners. It's also called "pussy stunting" or some shit like that.

Pretty sure I'm seeing more pop up of criticism against the "sexed" brains tho, and not just by radfems either. Or at least, I don't think they are. I have seen some intersex people fighting against it. They use Gina Rippon, and another woman as an example. Especially when it comes to cultures, and the idea: if there is a difference between "female" and "male" brains (not caused by the environment and how children are raised by sex), then what's stopping us from saying the same from other things like race? Since there is genetic and phenotypes differences due to ancestry from environment adaption (and some cultures being isolated for so long).

roast beef

Is a legit term that a certain group of misogynists called incels use. So I wouldnt be surprised if trans used it as an insult too. Supposedly it's represents women who are "loose." The more sex = the shape of the vulva and vagina changes to suit the penises. Also, non-virgin women also get "roast beefs."

[–]BiHorror 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

From what I seen, it's mainly either the "brain scans" or the "I feel like x, therefore I'm x despite being y." As for the terminology for transsexuals vs transgenders, from i read, one of the issues was becuase it had "sexual" at the end of it. Those who had a problem with that was becuase "sexual" is associated with sexuality according to term. The term "transgender" was used by a trans identified male actor who was a TRA, so that could've also been what popularized it as well.
