He who started the downgrading of a term that used to be for grammar and another way of saying sex (in the past but dropped out of style until he repopularized it with his gender vs sex distinction BS), and GC adopted that while TRAs went with the feelings/perception route. He's also the one who comes up when you search in who coined the term "gender" (within "societial expectations" definition).
