Car and truck are transvehiclist terms. You do not know a vehicle's category until its manual tells you. There are no qualifications to any vehicle category. Any vehicle can literally look any way. Everything from wide tires, long wheelbase, short, and narrow to broad fenders, rugged cladding, tall, powerful engine, and a tailgate. These two examples could be sedans, coupes, club cab, short bed, etc, etc.

Because vehicle desirability tends to happen before you have a chance to know a vehicle's category, saying you prefer cars or trucks or not desiring a certain vehicle category makes assumptions about vehicles' categories, which is wrong and horribly transvehiclist. Say you prefer cars, and you look at a vehicle you believe to be a car on appearance. But then it turns out to be a trans truck... You either have to admit you don't prefer cars or are a transphobe.

Using terms like car or truck perpetuates ideas that we can know a vehicle's category based on appearance alone or that categories have qualifications and common traits to them. These ideas are what keeps trans cars away from car garages and get them sent to vehicle compactors.

I will no longer call my vehicle a car from this point on, and if you care about trans cars I urge you to either ID as panvehicular or even better just dump category designations altogether as well. You only need to tell people, "I drive what I drive."

I've made the analogy in the old sub that it reminds me how boats and vehicles are purpose built. You may enjoy both motoring and boating 😛, but why settle for something that's been modified to approximate the other when there is plenty of the real thing? That's fascinating, thanks for sharing. I've seen transgender promoters make claims like the Y chromosome is useless beyond reproductive attributes. But nobody knows if that's true because the scientific research is still very early. From what I can gather, researchers don't even fully know what all the genes on the Y are responsible for.

A study was just released that has discovered a correlation between chromosomal gene expression and brain attributes. "Researchers have long observed consistent sex-based differences in subcortical brain structures in mice. Some studies have suggested these anatomical differences are largely due to the effects of sex hormones, lending weight to a "gonad-centric" explanation for sex-based differences in brain development. However, more recent mouse studies have revealed consistent sex differences in cortical structures, as well, and gene-expression data suggest that sex chromosomes may play a role in shaping these anatomical sex differences. Although the mouse brain shares many similarities with the human brain, it is not clear whether these key findings in mice also apply to humans."

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-07-highly-sex-differences-aspects-human.html

Further research on this, if it's not suppressed, could very well blow the common transgender dogma of "I have an opposite sexed brain" out of the water. But that would be scientifically objective, and science is inconvenient when claiming that feelings are the basis of truth.

Interesting take but I think the whole gender thing is a ruse. For example, look at all of the nutty ideas these people promote like gametes and chromosomes don't mean anything significant. It's straight up science denial. It's the stuff postmodern everything is subjective dreams are made of. So I'd say the transgender concept is not opposite of homosexuality, because sexuality is simply a phenomenon. Transgenderism is more like off to the side and on another plane from homosexuality.

Apparently the google album of all the homophobic tweets has been circulating around the lgbt subs. I posted it myself in askgaybros a few times, especially when they say "no one says/believes x" by xandit in LGBDropTheT

This homo doesn't find vaginas gross. When I see a vagina on a normal female body, it's like yup there's a vag, whatever. What I find gross is when I see one on a female who has modified her body to approximate male attributes. It's a major visceral turn off that gives me the creeps. I imagine it's the same way lesbians feel about seeing a dick and balls on a male body that has been modified to approximate female features. By the way, that's also a huge turn off, what's next, male-bodied transgender practitioners going after homosexual men for not being into that? Hey bro you should totally fuck me because I have a dick, too, so don't be a bigot. Naw, I'm not interested because you look ridiculous and that's not attractive.

The more straight people asking genuine questions here, the better.

I remember growing up as a boy, the word queer being used as an insult. "ya fuckin' queer!" But the reason I don't like it is because it just sounds silly like it can't be taken seriously. It's also an odd sounding word in a guttural sense. I don't like being referred to as gay either for pretty much the same reasons. Both of those words started out as insults. Queer = misfit; gay = prancy, light in the loafers.

I like homosexual. It's dry but it leaves no room for confusion.

it’s flat-out unnatural. Nowhere else in nature is this occurring.

This is one of the reasons I keep repeating that homosexuality is a phenomenon, transgenderism is a concept. It's a critical distinction and difference because even though there are all of these other ancillary issues we tend to get distracted by, our language has to be accurate in order to establish the true basis of what's happening.

Homosexuality is something that is simply observed to happen in nature. That doesn't mean it's normal, nor does it mean that people have to be okay with it, but only the most outrageous liar would deny that homosexuality exists as that would be like denying there is night and day. All it takes is for two same sexed animals to perform a sexual act with each other. No material modification of anything that already exists is required. Transgenderism on the other hand is so conceptual, people can't even agree on exactly what it is and what fully constitutes its expression.

"...the constant need to explain, educate, and advocate..."

There is nothing to explain because she knows you're male, and you know you're male. There is nothing to educate, unless what you really mean is indoctrinate. You can advocate all you want, but it's a waste of your time.

As a real man, meaning that I am male, it's embarrassing to observe other men doing this to women.

Well, it's not gone. It's now here.

I don't believe they are happy. These are very unhappy people as evidenced by their low self esteem. Therefore they would be especially unhappy without resisting forces (such as us) to keep them from focusing on their own selves. Imagine if they had no imagined enemies to fight as they'd have nowhere else to turn but inward, which is their most frightening prospect. They fear their selves far more than they fear us.

There is no such thing as "trans" women or men. There are only women and men. Women are female and men are male. They know this, which is why they are iterating toward the redefinition of female and male, but I think by the time they fully get there it will be too late because there will be a broader backlash against radical leftism by then.

Agree. The contention anyone has with transgenderism is never with the existence of the concept, but how to best cope with its existence. SRS reminds me of the needle exchange strategy for IV drug addicts. In both cases the strategy is a enabling cope, not a solve.

True. When encountering trans identifiers at work, one must avoid interacting with them to the fullest extent possible that doesn't impact getting the job done. Nothing more, nothing less. Never refer to a trans identifier at work with any pronoun, just use their name when referring to them in third person.
