Too much corporate interest in that site and too many people knowingly or unknowingly enforcing corporate narratives. Someone over there wrote the entire site is like a DoS attack on your mind. I'm inclined to agree.

Hopefully I can get respite here and some broader perspective.

Whenever I look over the /r/all on reddit nowadays I get the uneasy feeling that everything is curated. Whether it's political interests or corporate, it seems the content is there to push someone's narrative. News that doesn't fit it does not even show up (the twitter hack is the most recent example, and the various stabbings and shootings committed by Antifa and BLM). It's just all so fake and advertiser friendly.

Welcome mate, I'm a reddit migrant myself. Yeah, censorship is at an all time high on reddit presently, its as if they are shooing away users themselves for some reason (probably server load, lol!).

It's been years now. I stayed for years after I found out but I knew it was already over and just a matter of time before I stopped visiting.

My last love there was Wall Street Bets and even that place is now just a wokefest.
