I’ve been saying this! Why do they get to have genital preferences about their own bodies and then they also use that as an excuse for why they have genital preferences about others? Many transbians claim that being with another transbian would trigger their dysphoria because they would be dysphoric about their partners’ genitals too, conveniently freeing them to instead pursue “cis lesbians.”

And then they accuse us gay men and women of being “obsessed with genitals” and “obsessed with what’s in people’s pants.” The amount of projection is unreal.

Again, the people who can’t get over their own genitals demand that everyone else get over them so as to be “inclusive” of said people in their sex lives.

How the public is not cottoning on en masse is absolutely maddening and this is basically what peaked me. They control what we call them, what we call ourselves, how we feel about their genitals, how we express our feelings and boundaries. We need to get therapy to not be discriminatory bigots for having a sexual orientation and boundaries but a doctor asking even a child about the circumstances leading them to consider themselves trans is conversion therapy? Are you kidding me.

And to add insult to injury, watching lesbian celebrities dismiss the concerns of lesbians everywhere and call them TERFs is beyond damaging to the community. Wake the fuck up.

A-fucking-men.

Also fed up to HERE with the "transbians" and, in particular, their insistence that they can't leave the genuine article alone and just fuck each other "cuz muh dysphoria".

I mean, if it really IS a "girldick", transformed by ladyfeelzTM into a sex organ no less female than a vulva or clit... then they shouldn't even HAVE any dysphoria about it, right?

Why, it's almost as though all that "girldick" business was just so much bullshit!

"I don't have to accept myself for what I am but you have to accept me for what I want to be." Narcissistic personality disorder.

Dang, that's even better.

Everything about trans ideology is hypocritical. Deadnaming and misgendering are literal hate crimes, but anyone who objects to terms like 'cis' and 'terf' are fucktards. TRAs are entitled to define the rules of acceptable speech, and all the mods on Reddit's supposedly women-focused subs are affirming this.

This is why I don't fully believe that sex reassignment surgery is the best course of action for people with true dysphoria. In the same vein, I don't believe that people with severe body image issues should rush to plastic surgery or other things with irreversible changes. I believe their pain is real, but I don't believe that "being born in the wrong body" is a real phenomenon.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy among other healthy life practices (eating well, exercising, socializing, getting enough sleep on a regular schedule, etc.) are probably the best route for most people with or without body image or mental health issues. I'm not sure why so many people ignore the power of making peace with yourself and instead seek to become dependent on hormones and cosmetic surgeries.

I wish the best for trans people, but I also hope they figure out that they don't need to be trans to be comfortable with themselves.

Accepting yourself isn't easy, it takes time. For people with real dysphoria, like very feminine homosexuals, being extremely feminine and the social problems creates by this fact, can induce a sense of rejection and being more confortable in opposite sex appearance. But of course, your suggestion is the best. Cognitive behavioral therapy is based on stoicism, and has been helpful in dealing with my OCD. Mental health problem suck

I couldn't agree more. I have severe clinical depression and anger issues (which I've been working on intensively for the past three years), and most of the things I reached for were destructive coping mechanisms. I see a lot of similarities with trans-identified people but they aren't getting any of the help they truly need with doctors pushing for surgeries instead of holistic therapy.

Yeah, man. I 've been dealing with fucking OCD since I was a child. In general, mental problems are the most horrible to have, since they're not even taken seriously and you tend to be blamed for being sick. In the past, transitioning required long waiting. Today, anyone can say "I'm a woman" and being encouraged to fill their body with chemical shit, and that's considered progressive.

Agree. The contention anyone has with transgenderism is never with the existence of the concept, but how to best cope with its existence. SRS reminds me of the needle exchange strategy for IV drug addicts. In both cases the strategy is a enabling cope, not a solve.

Exactly. If we’re expected to change our “genital preference,” why aren’t trans people expected to change their gender preference?

One of my pet peeves with the whole trans craziness is if they actually consider themselves women or men, why the prefix “trans”?

Why the extra-special designation to have to call themselves out for special status and attention?

As if we wouldn’t and don’t already know that they don’t pass?

They love the attention because they are so “stunning and brave”.

The whole TWAW but if you use the word "woman" without any qualifiers its somehow exclusive and transphobic is just so idiotic. If you're supposed to be a woman then the word "woman" isn't excluding you.
