They really don't understand the point of labels, do they? The reason I call myself gay is to 1) let women know there is literally no chance I would date them, and 2) let men know that I would be open to dating them. And sure, I might find a trans man attractive at first if they pass well, maybe even enough for a date. But the second the pants come off, any interest is gone, because I have absolutely no interest in vagina OR fake penis. Also, I find it quite interesting that they use the word "transmisogynist" which, unless I'm wrong, only refers to trans women. Guess this person doesn't really care for trans men ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Careful, don't let the TRA's know that you have a "genital preference". Otherwise, they will label you a transphobe and you will be stoned.

Works for me, I'll just use their logic and make them conform to my definition of getting stoned

They can word salad from now until eternity but they will never, ever dethrone antidisestablishmentarianism.

God these people are delusional. I honestly can't wait to see what will happen when people outside of the internet become more aware of this buffoonery. If there are tons of feminists and lgb people that can barely wrap their heads around this fuckery, the general population of the rest of the world will not. When the inevitable happens, and this stuff starts going even more mainstream, we are going to see pushback like we've never seen. The amount of ammo this is going to give conservatives everywhere is terrifying.

"Conservatives" are no longer the enemy, the parties flipped (...again, depending on who you ask).

If you need proof, check which justice wrote the majority opinion in both Bostock v. Clayton County and R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes Inc. v. EEOC, this year's pair of SCOTUS rulings that granted employment protections on the basis of sex to LGBT+ people.

The person who appointed that particular justice has never done anything homophobic in the public eye. He did not have to "evolve" regarding his position on same-sex marriage. He has campaigned for the global decriminalization of homosexuality, and he has allocated funding to make PrEP more affordable in an attempt to completely eradicate HIV/AIDS in our lifetime.

On the contrary, remember which president signed the so-called Defense of Marriage Act and the homophobic military Don't Ask Don't Tell policy into law. Remember how this was all forgotten by the media and the LGBT activists when his wife ran for the same office.

Don't buy the narrative they're selling you...it's fake, it's empty, and it's designed to make you feel like you need them. In the end, Democratic legislators haven't done shit for LGBT folks, the courts have. But they sure put on a great show of pretending to try.

These ideas are what keeps trans women away

I will no longer call myself a lesbian

So... mission accomplished?

Whew. Easy to avoid that one now.

Car and truck are transvehiclist terms. You do not know a vehicle's category until its manual tells you. There are no qualifications to any vehicle category. Any vehicle can literally look any way. Everything from wide tires, long wheelbase, short, and narrow to broad fenders, rugged cladding, tall, powerful engine, and a tailgate. These two examples could be sedans, coupes, club cab, short bed, etc, etc.

Because vehicle desirability tends to happen before you have a chance to know a vehicle's category, saying you prefer cars or trucks or not desiring a certain vehicle category makes assumptions about vehicles' categories, which is wrong and horribly transvehiclist. Say you prefer cars, and you look at a vehicle you believe to be a car on appearance. But then it turns out to be a trans truck... You either have to admit you don't prefer cars or are a transphobe.

Using terms like car or truck perpetuates ideas that we can know a vehicle's category based on appearance alone or that categories have qualifications and common traits to them. These ideas are what keeps trans cars away from car garages and get them sent to vehicle compactors.

I will no longer call my vehicle a car from this point on, and if you care about trans cars I urge you to either ID as panvehicular or even better just dump category designations altogether as well. You only need to tell people, "I drive what I drive."

I swapped out the transmission on my car and now it's trans-manual... Please call it by it's correct pronouns.

Dissociative homophobes taking the gold in the oppression olympics. And the silver and bronze too. Handmaidens and manservants get participation ribbons.

These people are the ones who are truly phobic of genitals. By their logic, a sex doll would be a good partner, if only what it “looks like” is valued compared to what it is.

[–]markiemarcus 25 insightful - 1 fun25 insightful - 0 fun26 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Yeah this is nonsense.

I actually had a very revealing disagreement with a trans ally on Reddit earlier. He's a gay guy, but before I found that out I assumed he was just another woke homophobe. He was pushing this notion that gay males really wouldn't know the difference from trans men, were it not for the genitals. The entire concept of romantic, same-sex attraction was completely alien to him. He hadn't even considered it. I explained that it's actually more likely that I would have a romantic attraction to a trans woman, than a trans man, despite not being physically attracted; that sort of thing is inexplicable and impossible without Homosexuality. But how could I be romantically attracted to a "male brain"? These things transcend surgery and hormones; it's years of socialisation and a million little things that we just don't understand and probably never will.

I actually found it really sad. Imagine being gay and not knowing love like that. It was frustrating, but I actually left it feeling sorry for him.

Edit: I've just realised that this makes me sound like a schlocky romance novelist. What can I say? Some of these fuckers clearly watch way too much porn and could do with it.

A lot of woke folks are pushing through the disappointment of tinder hookups by entering platonic, non sexual, polygamous “relationships” simply because they’re lonely. Both trans people I know are like this and miserable and instead of working on themselves they want someone who tells them they’re special and that being overweight or having mental health issues are totally fine and it’s society that needs to change. Lots of unfulfilling relationships based on gender identity and not love or attraction.

I know a woman who has decided to be with a transman and call herself asexual because she’s always been straight but was abused in her last relationship and the transman she isn’t sexually attracted to is better than being alone or confronting her fear of “cis” men so she decided to date them :( many old high school and college friends so openly unhappy and angry at society and how their lives have turned out but lashing out under the guise of gender politics when the problem is always, always inside them and requiring therapy, actual self respect and love.

[–]markiemarcus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Jesus. That sounds like hell and actually really sad in the case of the woman you know. Does she not have many people in her life?

[–]LiterallyawomanTERF IRL 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Not to my knowledge, she dropped out of college, lives with another old high school friend as well as her trans,uh, partner. She’s always worked multiple gig jobs and posts about that a lot, and we had a conversation where I tried to convince her she shouldn’t be taking care of an abusive parent on top of all she has to do to survive but she feels obligated to. So she’s a good person but frankly a door mat and I can easily see how she got swept up into identifying as asexual despite being a pretty sexual person before the abusive relationship. We’re in our 30’s- everyone who failed to launch is getting a divorce or coming out as this or that gender now.

some gay men legitimately experience little to no romantic attraction. I wish they could but they don't.

[–]markiemarcus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

God really? I mean, I suppose that makes sense given that there are bound to be some heterosexual who don't. I don't know why I find that shocking...but I do. We're talking about otherwise good people, right? There's not some underlying personality disorder?

[–]davids877Straight Male Man 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

But none of this has anything to do with gender...

No! randominternetuser123 thinks I'm a transphobe? I'm so so sorry!! Please please forgive me! I'll do anything you say!! The absolute last thing I ever want is a random internet user to think I'm a whispers transphobe.

[–]JulienMayfair 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

. . . except that 99% of the time, if I perceive someone to be a man, he is a biological male.

[–]BenderRodriguez 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I actually think this particular image might be a false flag/satire written by a GC person. You can tell by the use of the term "trans male" in the second paragraph. True TRA nut jobs would never say "trans male".

That's not to say there aren't plenty of TRAs who do think like this and say things like this...so the sentiment is definitely real in any case.

[–]notdelusionalbased faggot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

True TRA nut jobs would never say "trans male".

I hope you're right but I've noticed their agitprop creeping into the redefining of female and male. Some transgender practitioners will literally claim they are the opposite sex. I've seen female-bodied trans identifiers write that they are males.

[–]CAB_Life 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The fact that TRAs can’t self-reflect or present any logical counters (other than screaming “Reeeeeeeee!”, “transphobe”, and “cancel”) says a tremendous amount about how frail their ideology and mental states really are. The more and more their true beliefs are exposed, however, the crazier they look.

I think the wheels are finally coming off the cart, and you can see this with stuff like Abigail’s new book and other pieces of critical literature and discussion.

You don't know their gender. You don't even know your own gender!

Why...did Gnosticism get a reboot?

[–]Canardyyy 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I can’t even with these people. This is why I want to drop the T. I’m not gonna identify as pan because some no name special cornflake loser doesn’t want to associate as lesbian. I am sexually attracted to biological women, not men in dresses.

Am I transphobic? Call me as you please, but it won’t change the fact this is who I am. A lesbian.

[–]CleverNickName 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They almost get close, too. They are correct that we cannot see their gender. Because gender is made up.

But after like 12 000 years or so of human evolution (don't quote me on the number, I'm not a geologist), I think we've gotten pretty good at telling the sex of an individual well over 90% of the time. And it works on clothed people too, so there just might be the possibility that it's not exclusively linked to what's inside their underwear. It works from behind too, so boobs are cheating. It works on faces, even when the women aren't wearing make-up, you stereotype-enforcing mysoginist.

Of course I'm not attracted to your gender, especially if it's one I never wanted to hear about in the first place. The same way I'm not attracted to your favourite TV show, even before I know it's Big Bang Theory.

[–]fuckupaddamsBisexual Terve 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

By their logic everyone is cis. If every gender can look any way and have any kind of genitals then what does being trans even mean?

[–]fijupanda[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Exactly. They so running in circles, I am amazed they all don't suffer from vertigo.

Like someone posted on twitter if transwomen are women then there is no such thing as a trans which deletes trans experiences, trans health right, trans medical issues, trans support etc and equals transphobia.

TRAs are so illogical. So far up their own ass, they've started to consume their own poop.
