Hardly any gay teenagers have boyfriends. Don’t start thinking that cisgender gays have it easy—it’s a fast track to becoming an incel.

Edit: I’m serious. Half the people on this sub would benefit from a good long look at incel reddit.

Ridiculous claim that gay incels populate the incel subreddits. Lol, all the gay incels live on r/askgaybroscirclejerk, along with a "healthy" dose of bi male incels.

edit: Actually after re-reading the comment, I think the commenter was calling the ladies on r/gaytransguys incels and I agree.

All this talk about desperately wanting to "pass as a gay couple" has me ready to book them a vacation to Iran.

It seems that the homophobia faced by women isn't as extreme as what's directed towards men. It's almost as if these women forgot that homophobia even exists and ceased to care. Infuriating.

Everyone is confused and I see why. This isn't TRA or Christianity. It's something that people here must be fortunate enough not to have been exposed to: New Age Religion.

Practicioners tend to hold conservative beliefs, like any other religious people. They're generally anti-abortion, anti-homosexuality, and pro-gender roles. Instead of "God wants you to do things this way," their justification is "the energies will align if you do things this way."

They genuinely believe that homosexuals are "male souls in female bodies" and vice versa, but also often doubt that such a thing is possible, not because the souls thing is ridiculous, but because they are homophobic and believe that homosexuals need to embrace their "repressed masculine/feminine energy" (for males/females, respectively) and have a divine relationship with a member of the opposite sex and have "tantric sex" and breed with them. In order to align the "energies" with the "divine vibrations of the universe."

I have a family member like this.

I think there's a difference between feeling attracted to someone, and then having the attraction dissipate because you learned they are actually an asshole or something, and feeling attracted to a front someone is intentionally putting on, an actual lie, and truly feeling zero attraction for that actual, real human being. They're not just a person who you didn't know was rude to waiters, it's someone who is lying about their actual physical body. They are lying about their sex, which attraction is contingent upon for anyone who isn't bisexual.

Just because you want a sexual partner doesn't mean you should have one, and it definitely doesn't mean you're mature enough to understand what that means and the potential consequences of a sexual relationship, especially at such a young age where even if you've been through puberty, many of your peers are prepubertal and attempting to penetrate a prepubertal girl is akin to torture. Some kids that age are feeling sexual arousal and for some it's still too early.

And "polyamorous" isn't a biological identity like being homosexual. Feeling attraction to multiple people at once is normal.

And I've been trying to be neutral, but you honestly burned my eyes. Your maternal great-grandmother had your grandmother at 14, meaning she was most likely pregnant at 13. The thought of that makes me sick. It's extremely easy for kids that age to die from pregnancy because their bodies aren't ready for childbirth; even though they've been through puberty, they're still growing at that age.

Girls hitting puberty so early is likely not even natural and a consequence of estrogen (from animal agriculture) in the water supply.

Every single whim shouldn't be indulged, especially when the whims are sexual and the people are children.

No problem. The argument is essentially: "if gays are women's souls in men's bodies and only like men, why won't they fuck lesbians (men's souls in women's bodies)? the truth is that homosexuals are just fucked up and repressed and need to become heterosexual and be cured." He didn't say anything hateful towards trans people, but he was really homophobic in the special. He said it was okay to make fun of gay people because black people are more oppressed. Okay, Dave. Let's play your stupid fucking game. As if any gay comedian would get away with telling a racist joke. You'd be crying about racism and everyone would use this as proof that "white cis gays are racist" and use that as leverage to try to dismantle our rights.

What countries is it illegal to be black? In what countries does being black get you the death penalty or castrated? Do black people get to have their own lobby groups in the U.S.? Movements? Are they missing any rights? What about in Europe or Canada?

I'm tired of black being treated as the ultimate victim which apparently gives them a free pass to be as hateful as they want to other groups. I appreciate sane black people, but this is a pattern and our culture encourages it. Dave Chappelle made a few good skits many years ago about racism. Now he's still here crying and jerking off about what a victim he is while he trashes groups that have a more unstable position in society than his. It's pathetic.

Gays and lesbians aren't attracted to trans people of the opposite sex because they are attracted to the same sex only. It's not because they find the whole mishmash of parts thing unsettling, which it definitely is and probably the majority of bisexuals have a problem with that, but they aren't not attracted by the same mechanism.

But that's my point. When insane fringe conservatives agree with us, we need to make it clear that we don't agree with the rest of their views. This isn't just a rich people problem. In fact, poor communities tend to place more emphasis on gender roles and are more homophobic (the two things go hand-in-hand), so they end up with even more people believing they're trans. Rich people just get all the surgeries done sooner, which is a problem because there's less/no time to back out, but when the poor kids with extreme levels of internalized homophobia start making their own money, they "transition".

edit: And this has been going on since before medical "transition" was even a thing. Transing homosexuals has been going on since at least the beginning of written history.

Psychotic homophobia in the comments:

I will say this mom is, by far, one of the greatest advocates for her son, I have ever read.

I ought to know. Had I been born in this era, I would have succumbed to the demonic and blasphemous siren call of transgenderism, which is merely the latest ‘phase’ of ‘gay lib’ BS talk. The idea that somehow, God messed up when assigning gender, sex, masculinity, you name it. It’s all the same. Being a MAN. And those who would convince boys they aren’t men, should be shot.

Society is WRONG, the Gays are WRONG, the Tr@nn!3s are SICK, and the Perverts who want to destroy our children, are committing CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY on a MASSIVE scale, and must be stopped.

Because I chose NOT to submit to my mis-directed lusts at an early age, I am in a unique position to speak, even as I remain anonymous, and even though I tried very hard to ‘fit in’ to the ‘gay subculture.’ However, EVERYTHING I saw about it, repulsed me. EVERYTHING. From the moral vacuity, the disregard for other people, the trashy talk, the bitchiness, the STD’s, Aids, the illegitimate political activism for a sexual perversion- all of it, I turned my back on, forty years ago. And got married- to a woman, a Christian, and someone who was willing to help me ‘save myself from this perverse generation.” [ Acts 2:40] No, we don’t have sex- and, as we age, it doesn’t matter. The Church has many examples of husbands and wives who have led chaste lives, for a reason, I have been permanently psychically scarred from my forays into Sodom, INC. I am a ‘voluntary celibate,’ because I want eternal life, more than ‘the pleasures of a season.’ Do we love each other? Yes. She illumines my every day, and I would lay down my life for her, because of her selflessness in redeeming this sinful, pitiable man.

But…. I AM a Man, because of her.

And NO ONE should have that divinely-bestowed gift denied them.

Bernhard. Just up and die, you bastard. The only solution to ‘LGBT’ bullshit, is public stoning, of everyone who advocates this death style. The ONE THING that Pisslam has going for it, is the communal solution to crimes besetting it- taking up stones.

Your comment shows you either were a LOUSY parent, and enabled your son or daughter to kill their very soul, OR you have committed living suicide yourself. Stoning merely affirms your choice, and helps reduce the evil in this land. ANATHEMA.

[–]7874[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

My attraction is 100% contingent on the other person 1. knowing what sex they are and thus being okay with it (and thus, being okay with their sexual orientation as well without any transition or declaring of NB status, etc.), and therefore 2. not lying about their sex.

And those are preferences, not sexual orientation, and not every single bisexual feels that way. However, every single homosexual is unable to feel sexual attraction to the opposite sex.

And sorry I mentioned bisexuals, but it is relevant because trans people are being homophobic by expecting homosexuals to somehow override their homosexuality and date them. The reason homosexuals aren't attracted to trans people of the opposite sex is because they're homosexual and these trans people are being homophobic by trying to pressure them to be with the opposite sex. Bisexuals are not attracted to trans people not because they're bisexual, but because trans people are undesirable partners for 9999999 other reasons, and no one should be pressured to date someone they're not interested in of course. I'm just pointing out the different mechanisms and the distinct homophobia in play when they target homosexuals.

I'm trying to tell you there's a minefield here for bisexual people just like there is for gay men and lesbians, about how we are talked about and how we are treated and what we are assumed to want.

And people who say you should date trans people are filthy incels, but what bisexuals face on this front is a bit different from what homosexuals face. Homosexuals have their own homosexual-only spaces they've created that are infiltrated by homophobic incels. These spaces are the only places they have. They have zero other options for dating other than homosexual-only spaces like apps, bars, cafes.

Attracted to biological males and biological females who accept biology and reality and thus their own bodies.

That isn't a sexual orientation. Sexual orientation only describes the sex one is attracted to. I don't date white people (no offense lol sorry to anyone reading this, I'll be friends but I'm simply not interested for physical reasons) because I don't feel attraction to them, but that doesn't make it part of my sexual orientation. There are no qualifiers in sexual orientation. Homosexuals like the same sex, heteros the opposite, and bisexuals both. If bisexuals think a person with breasts and a dick is unattractive because that's weird, more power to them and they have zero obligation to date anyone. However, said person is still male, and therefore falls within the bounds of a bisexual orientation, but is excluded by preferences.

I notice you brought up political reasons why you're arguing this point and I get it. But also consider the implications if we start adding preferences into sexual orientation. That's part of the reason we have ridiculous new "orientations" nowadays like "pansexual" or "cupiosexual" or any number of others. And if we say that orientations are not exclusively sex-based, that messes with the definitions we have now of "gay" and "lesbian". Who's to say we can't just start adding qualifiers like the TRAs? "Gay means attracted to males except there are exceptions for certain women." No! Gay just means homosexual male. If homosexuals have qualifiers or exceptions, what do they need the right to be homosexual for? If orientation is not sex-based, they can just find some very specific person of the opposite sex to be with. No. Sexual orientation is defined exclusively by the sex(es) on is attracted to.

In fairness, the "straight" trans people they're talking about are HSTS, so they are technically part of their acronym. Unfortunately, they are also a detriment to our community. They hate themselves so incredibly much because of the fact that they are homosexual that they become toxic stereotypes of the opposite sex and LARP full-time. They are broken and it's sad, but they promote "transitioning" homosexuals and pose a danger to us with their self-hating ignorance.

What trans people don't get is that homosexuals were NEVER attracted to them. by 7874 in LGBDropTheT

[–]7874[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Hypothetically, gays can be attracted to trans-id guys (males) and lesbians can be attracted to trans-id women (females), and while they're probably not that common, they definitely exist.

My acceptance / rejection criteria regarding the other person's understanding of their biological sex and their mental health and comfort with being that sex are the same.

These are just preferences, and while very important, are not the same thing as an orientation.

Here's an example of what I mean: a lesbian is a female homosexual, only attracted to women.

  1. She can't be attracted to a trans-id guy (male) because he's male and she is only attracted to females; in this case, she is not attracted on the basis of her sexual orientation.

  2. She could possibly be attracted to a trans-id woman (female) since she's female, but would most likely find any masculinized features such as removed breasts, extreme body hair, etc. to be a turn-off, because they remind her of males, which she's completely unattracted to as a female homosexual. In this case, she is not attracted on the basis of her sexual orientation.

  3. Now, this isn't the only reason this lesbian is bothered by the trans-id woman. She is also turned-off because the woman is delusional and self-hating. In this case, she is not attracted because of her (completely normal and standard) preference for non-delusional, non-self-hating partners.

Case 3 is the one that bisexuals and lesbians have in common. There are a million other reasons not to be attracted to trans people. But the reason that homosexuals are not attracted to trans people is because of their sexual orientation, while the reason that bisexual people are not attracted to trans people is because of the 99999999 reasons other than their sexual orientation. Some bisexual people are attracted to trans people. But no one has to date them! I'm glad you're not lol you're dodging a bullet, seriously. But some bisexual people are attracted to trans people because the lack of attraction isn't based on: "these traits are the traits of the sex I am not attracted to" or "this person is not the sex I am attracted to", which are the orientation-based disqualifiers.

edit: Made a mistake on case 3, but it's fixed.

edit2: It wasn't fixed last time lol.

It's because "transman" is a made-up word to describe a woman who thinks she is/wishes she was a man, while "trans man" uses "trans" as an adjective to describe an "actual" man. So they can say "I'm a real man; I just happen to be trans."

Well, it is a thing for violently homophobic people to be closet bisexuals. That's the basis of the concept of homophobic (male-on-male) rape, which is a lot more common in prisons and countries where being gay is illegal, but does occur outside of those situations.

I personally don't think it's a coordinated effort by some malicious force. "Transing" homosexuals has been going on since at least the beginning of written history. It occurs independently in cultures that have no contact with one another. The only thing that's different this time (other than more advanced technology and "medicine") is that now heterosexuals (mostly heteros who are gender non-conforming) are also being transed.

This took a lot of bravery. Isaac is clearly an intelligent young man.

I fear that once the "transtrender" bubble bursts, people will simply think of HSTSs like this boy as "real" trans people and all the trans structures created by AGPs and supported by hoards of "transtrenders" will be used to keep oppressing feminine gays and masculine lesbians, "transitioning" them into a life of pain and suffering instead of allowing them to grow as people and learn to love themselves.

edit: Not sure if he is homosexual actually, he mentions a gf so he is straight or bi, but he isn't an AGP.

It does matter. While "trans-exclusionary radical feminists" might not be the most accurate way to describe them, seeing as they include trans chicks (females) and female "non-binaries" in their activism, "TERF" does describe an actual group of people that I'm not part of. They can call me "TERF" but they're wrong and just because they're stupid doesn't mean I'm going to associate myself with radical feminists if I don't believe in their ideology.

[–]7874 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

If a lesbian tries out sex with a man (which is very common and often traumatic and the result of internalized homophobia) and doesn't like it, she's a lesbian. If she does like it, she's bisexual.

A "lesbian" who can be sexually aroused by males is bisexual.

The majority of established homosexuals have already been through a bi-curious phase, then tried desperately to convince themselves that they are at least bisexual, but to no avail. Your example is much more likely to occur with a straight person or a bisexual who happens to find more people of the opposite sex sexually attractive.

"Labels" aren't a "signal to society" they're words which have established definitions. A lesbian is a female homosexual, not a bi woman who only likes to date women. If "lesbians" are capable of attraction to men, what does that mean for homosexual rights? Our whole basis is that homosexuality is immutable. You're giving conversion-therapy advocates ammunition when you misuse language like that.

The harassment of gays is cruel and toxic, and she's hardly even getting validation. Just quit while you're still ahead (before you become a rapist).

DC's new Superman comes out as bisexual - has pink-haired xefriend by Chunkeeguy in LGBDropTheT

[–]7874 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

His boyfriend is pretty and all, but it's not really positive representation. Hyper-masculine bi guys who love pretty, feminine gay guys who will "take care" of them aren't exactly rare or in desperate need of representation. And the drawing where it's angled so we can see Superman's dick and his pretty boyfriend's ass and underside of his balls is just gratuitous. We get it okay. Superman's the bi "top" and his bf's the gay "bottom".

They've never had a feminine gay guy like that as a main character (or even a masculine gay guy) and it looks like we're still not there yet. Seems like his only purpose in the story is going to be Superman's piece of ass who worships and admires and takes care of him emotionally. They made sure to emphasize his admiration of Superman and Clark Kent; he's a journalist because he loves Clark Kent so much. And now he gets fucked by his son and takes care of him emotionally and gets what in return? Superman's super alien dick I guess?

Just doesn't seem like the kind of narrative we should be feeding to our young gay kids. Couldn't he have his own identity and skills and goals outside of "worships this guy/his dad". A feminine gay guy is finally being "represented" and he's just Superman's pink-haired pet.

Even hets would roll their eyes at this degrading depiction (and maybe they are, but probably not) if his boyfriend were female. At least Clark Kent and Lois Lane were co-workers and she had her own reasons for become a journalist besides "my love interest is a sexy god and I admire him so much I'm going to dedicate my life to him/being like him". We condemn these depictions of women, but when it's a feminine gay guy being treated the same way, radio silence. And they actually are treated this way in real life, it's not just a story, it's a piece of propaganda promoting this treatment. Same as the stories told to little girls about useless, helpless princesses being rescued by powerful princes and then dedicating their lives to the guy. It's despicable and we need to condemn this.

See, you consider your definition to be the "actual" definition when it's the radical feminist one. It refers to masculinity and femininity (for example, the gender of a noun in a Romance language). But you consider it to be a hierarchy where masculine is above feminine, correct?

You're not accounting for the biological aspects. I guess you're going to tell me now that all psychological and behavioral differences between men and women are purely due to socialization? And the fact that prehomosexual (children who will grow up to be homosexual; pedantic because children don't have a sexual orientation) children are identified by a propensity towards cross-sex behaviors is what, socialization too??

"Brainsex" is reductive, inaccurate, and homophobic. But the fact remains than men and women have different average brain structures, and homosexuals tend to have brains that are more similar to the opposite sex. It doesn't mean that women are biologically wired to be in the kitchen and it doesn't mean homosexuals should be surgically altered at the expense of their health, well-being, and capacity for sexual pleasure to look more like the sex that typically has their gender, it just means that there are some psychological and behavioral differences between masculine people and feminine people and it's obvious in the real world.

And of course there are exceptions, but I'm speaking generally. This is the root of transgenderism and denying it isn't getting us anywhere. Homosexuals believing as young children (before ever feeling sexual urges) that they're a member of the opposite sex "trapped" in their bodies is a key tenet of their ideology.

Which isn't to say that nearly every single culture in the world doesn't prioritize men over women, and masculinity over femininity. That's patriarchy and it's real and a serious problem. But the solution isn't denial.
