I come to this site to get a more rounded view of issues going on. A lot of post you see here you would never see in the MSM or social media. Like everything I read though, I take it all with a gain of salt and verify/check everything before I repeat it.

Defiantly the best part of this site is the freedom to say whatever you like with out fear of a ban. People should have the right to shit on others, call them names and judge and for those others, to tell them all to fuck off. I was called all kinds of names and teased growing up and it made me a better person for it. Now I handle shit heads like its no ones business.

Saidit has to do something about people who are deliberate attacking the site in an attempt to disrupt it. For now I think a team of janitors could help clean up a lot of the obvious spam/bots. There should also be a clear charter/rules of what makes an acceptable post. It's tricky because you don't want to stifle people but at the same time you can't let bad actors overrun the site.

Perhaps even a verification system where you have to be a member for over a month + and have a certain amounts of credit/karma before your posts can reach the front page/all. Nothing too crazy but enough that a bot couldn't easily make it.

It is designed to divide people by race, by gender, by ethnicity, by religion, by vaccine status, and any other way that they can divide people into groups because then you can justify having a government to control all those groups.”

Welcome to the barge of the Dammed!

I here because I went to reveddit.com and ran my username. Found 23 post that had been taken down by mods or auto mods.

Some of the auto mod take downs I still can't figure out what was wrong with the posts. Might have been edgy but I have seen worse on reddit.

Some of the mod take downs were nothing more then total abuse of power. One example, I agreed with someone who told a story about what life was like during the cold war under communism and my comment was manually deleted by a mod! 100% clean comment. No swearing or anything. Plenty of comments shiting on the guy's story that the mod left alone. Looking back I think they were trying to sway the comment section big time.

My ideas for fixing Saidit by LarrySwinger2 in SaidIt

[–]HiddenFox 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I make good use of the block user feature. I've done enough self house cleaning that I don't really get a lot of spam. I spend about 10 minutes a week blocking user that are obvious bots and it seems to work well. Checking their karma credit and length of time they have been on the site helps.

Also u/In-the-clouds made a good comment last week about using the friends button. I've been pretty generous with it and it's working good for me. The trick is to add everyone even if you don't really agree with them. The strength of this site is it's openess to allow everyone to speak even if they are an asshat. If you are just looking for an echo chamber there are plenty of other sites for that.

I think one good feature would be to make it a lot harder to create a new accounts. If you could make it difficult enough that most bots can't auto create accounts that would make a big improvement.

Fun fact, the longest recorded color streak on a Vega roulette wheel was 14 spins in a row. Starting on a $1 bet your going to need north of a $16000 bank roll just incase.

Also, no average person has ever made millions on roulette. (Maybe some crazy high roller got lucky on a huge bet?) but if you are playing under $100/bet your not making millions. If you start winning too much they will toss you out under suspicion of cheating.

However, this is a great way to stalemate the wheel and receive free drinks!!! I did this at the Casino Royal for like 2 hours, moved on to the Venetian for over an hour before losing it all on an Elvis slot machine at the Wynn! Good times! I love Vegas!

I don't normally play the slots but the old Vegas magic of getting you drunk as fuck worked on me!

[–]HiddenFox 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think younger girls in particular (18+) are so driven and brainwashed into an extravagant level of life style that they are willing to do pretty much anything to get it.

Only fans provides a quick and easy way to get there. Well, at least that's how it looks but the truth is 99.9% are not going to make the six figures.

That's a big part of the scam. The top % are shown in all their money making glory and the rest are skipped over along with the consequences.

Like anything on the internet it's there forever. Image a woman at her wedding wondering how many of the guys there found her OF account from back in the day... How would the groom feel? I wonder what her kids and their friends will think of it when they find it. I don't believe these are things18yos are thinking about when they start up an OF page.

Maybe I'm too old school with all my shame and self respect but I find it hard to believe you can engage in this and not have regrets later on. (Unless of course you make a lot of money. Then you can justify it to yourself as being worth it. But again only a small few will make that level of income.)

Overall I think OF hurts women far more then it empowers them.
