I do get somewhat Nazi vibes from the pride flags that seems to come up everywhere and stay up all year. I wonder sometimes if in 100 years if flying pride flag might be viewed with the same kind of social dread that flying the Nazi flag today will entail.

We have to remember that the Swastika itself was a very old symbol still used in many east Asian cultures with no real negative connotations but has become so associated with the Nazis in the west that even symbols with no Nazi history that look similar are essentially going to cause offense.

I wonder if with all the government adoption of the pride flag as a symbol of equality if it won't end up being used by a fascist regime in the future and treated by our descendents in much the same way we treat the Swastika now.

I think that is a reasonable line of thinking.

I think the same thing with regards to the trans child movement. In time it will be looked upon in the way we look at lobotomy. And I don't mean that as a joke. Back in the day the people doing it thought it was legit going to help. Nowadays we shutter at the cruelty of it.

I think there comes a point where even if there is some legit medical or scientific reasoning behind such things it's important to just step back and look at the thing itself, with lobotomies they were trying to treat legitimate ailments and in some cases, even today, lobotomies are appropriate for a very small fraction of cases, but you are going in and removing part of someone's brain which to me seems like a very barbaric approach to handle mental health issues, especially if it's your go to approach, and even more so when it's literally icepick through the nose. But a full surgical lobotomy in the case where you've got someone with life threatening seizures and removing that part of the brain stops the seizures and it's preferably to death by seizure, that can be justified.

I think in the terms of the trans healthcare there's a similar phenomenon going on, there's mental distress people have for various reasons but it seems like transition is being prescribed as a catch all treatment for a number of things which I don't believe it's appropriate for. However I do think that in some cases where after strenuous psychological evaluations and the attempt of less radical treatment options there is probably some minority of people where a gender transition is likely going to result in them being happier, I just think that's a minority case and that most people who are now referred to gender clinics more have self image problems.

It's like if we decided unilaterally that the proper treatment for anorexia was affirmation and weightloss surgery on all cases.

The comments are fucking hilarious, everything and anything to shuffle away from the accuracy of the points that were made.

HRT changes multiple sexual identifiers, what we use to determine sex in humans.

Saying HRT changes your sex is like saying a diabetic who takes insulin is no longer a diabetic. If you want to tell yourself that to make you feel better that's fine but you better keep taking those drugs because mother nature isn't going to forget what you really are.

LOL.

Oh, my poor, abused brain. It couldn't handle the level of stupid in that comment and tried to sudoku itself right out of my skull in response.

If the shit hits the fan, there will be necessary XP, and side mission XP. First thing I would do if I was one of these insane asylum rejects is put the right clothes back on and wipe the joker makeup off my face to avoid becoming side mission XP.

"Impressive taste in clothing" - LOL

Also, the action prescribed in the top reply statistically applies far more to trannies than to nadzees.

Some of the things I've seen in TikTok videos do come under the umbrella of "Impressive"... In the same way it's impressive when someone hits every stair individually during a fall rather than bouncing or rolling over at least one.

Wow.... makes sense. Both groups are really into parading their flags. At least the Nazis didn't claim God's bow as their own. It's also impressive that the propaganda machine is still promoting Reddit with posts like this creeping in.

Looks like there's a new based sub on Reddit. Wonder how long it'll last. Looks like the sub creator was already banned, lol.

On the last point... US institutions did actually support the Nazis & George Bush's grandfather made tons of money working with them even after the US had entered the war. I'll give it a partial check. I guess that only leaves the sense of fashion.
