I'm not trying to start shit, just looking for an honest answer.
This is my thinking...
I grew up just outside of Toronto, Ontario. I now live in rural P.E.I. about 10 minutes outside the city of Charlottetown. (~40 000 people.) I lived here now for over 25 years and I see nothing that could entice me to go back to a major city. (Other then some crazy 10 million dollar mansion.)
I get jobs are a big factor. It's one of my biggest considerations when I moved here. But to me I would rather make less money and live in a cheaper area. Also, I'm doing better overall them almost all of my old buddies back in Toronto. I take more vacations, drive better cars and have more disposable income. The only real place they got me beat is in the value of their homes. When they go to sell, they will then cash in.
I just don't get the appeal. All the traffic, the summer heat, living in some small apartment or condo... Pass pass pass
