Over the years I've read a few people claim the web page they archived on a controversial subject had been deleted.

Yes, and they censored information regarding the scamdemic, but OP asked specifically about edits.

That woke journalist Taylor Lorenz is related to the guy who owned the internet archive, and she got him to remove content about her to cover up that she's from a family with shitloads of money. I'm too lazy to search this but it should be findable.

Someone said so on Reddit once, iirc. Not sure how legit it was. Can they do that though? Tamper with archived stuff?

But at least they didn't edit it to take names off or something. It's about trusting what we see on the internet but it changes all the time.

Hard to tell with pages from that dump of a site taking 2-3 minutes to load.

Seriously, those neckbeards need some new technology. The potato battery / TRS-80 Sqlite port aren't cutting it.
