Woman asks man what his name is, Canada's state-owned faggot media makes it into a national incident.

These jokers get offended by their deadnames.

I'm offended that others are forced to entertain their delusions. I bet he still fights like a man.

I'm so glad they didn't get the financing from the libs they were expecting and had to lay off some staff. Hopefully it'll get even worse for them if Poilievre is elected.

Ip, a Niagara regional councillor for St. Catharines, Ont., and the chair of the region's diversity, equity, and inclusion advisory committee, also expressed concerns, saying the officer didn't need to ask for Hill's deadname or pronouns.

The last part with the pronouns is what gets me. Your not suppose to ask pronouns but if you misgender your still in shit. It's a literal lose-lose.

I got a feeling this is more about Sabrina being asked to leave and Sabrina not getting her way.

Lol I didn't catch that on first read. How was the cop supposed to refer to him without using pronouns? Also I'm pretty sure they do need a person's legal name for their reports.

Obviously, the cop was supposed to know who this person was already. Saying you're not obsessed with the person already is saying they're not world-famous, meaning they're not SPECIAL, meaning GENOCIDE!

There is no way to play the genderwoo games and not lose. The only winning move is not to play. Obstinately insist on the truth: Gender is not a thing people have, it is a concept that applies only to words as a linguistic concept, and people have sex.

The whole thing is just a way to manipulate the conversation and try to get away with shit. I've never asked someone their preferred pronouns and I never will. Because I refer to people by their name or by the one true pronouns "You". There's literally zero reason to ask in any interaction.

If people ask me my preferred pronouns it's simple. I, me, my, are the pronouns I prefer to use for myself. You may use them to refer to me as well.

Reminds me of that one NB coffee slinger that got accurately pegged by a customer and did a Tiktok to complain about it. Proved that the goal was the opportunity to be "oppressed" and then be outraged and sanctimonious about their "actual" identity to a normie bigot.

It would take a supernova for that.

*scrolled to first picture, didn't notice badge*

Wow, that's one of the best passing trannies I've ever seen; looks like an average woman, could totally blend in.

*scrolled to second picture*

Ohhh, okay. Yeah that makes way more sense.

Or, as the less-crazy types of troons call it, the "government name" because if you haven't been assed enough to change it, that's the name they'll need when dealing with yer crazy ass

[–]Alienhunter糞大名 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

As far as I'm concerned if you want to use a different name for yourself like a nickname or whatever knock yourself out. I'm fine with that, it's the people that cry about their official legal name that get me. The people working the office don't know your emotional baggage , they need your legal name for the damn form. Either change it or put up with it. Next we know the damn TSA will be accused for "persecuting" transpeople because they booked a ticket for their preferred name that doesn't match their ID.

[–]iamonlyoneman 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

oh snap! brb gonna go sue TSA for deadnaming

"That's only done for one sinister, malevolent purpose — to cause me harm, to belittle me or to escalate. To enrage me so I will do or say something that will get me charged."

This part is really annoying because police do have a problem with escalation and this is making a mockery of that problem because they are claiming that if a cop asks for your legal name then that is the cop escalating and then "justifying" violence against the cop. So if the emotionally unstable person punches a cop because they got "dead named" then the cop is going to justifiably arrest them and then spin it that the cop caused it. (Heavy Ezra Miller vibes).

Meanwhile shit like this is going to be used as a counterexample when cops get called out for actual escalation.

It's so fucking easy to deal with. Show the cop your ID. Say "My legal name is John Doe but I prefer to go by Jane Doe."

But you know, these people that hit the news are generally crazy narcissists so the goal isn't harmonious interactions with their fellow man, it's to get away with shit.

The cop probably just recognized this guy from a public indecency charge or soliciting minors or something else troons do and wanted to make sure they got the record straight
