Setting aside the actual issue of child mutilation. He's only as smart as his parents raised him to be. In fact, this is actually a big brain move. As he has no use for ten thousand dollars, as it's still his parents money. Where as he can actually have the Oreo cookies. Also, it's his father on the other side of that table so, there is that.

I think this is just an example of where the child's brain is at. He is unable to understand what $10 000 could do for him. Weather that be because his parents have not taught him about the value and function of money or he is simple acting on impulse.

I think it's indicative of modern media. As all the world's a show, and crafted propaganda.

Or because like me when I was that age, any money over a certain dollar amount (I think it was $20-40 at that age), as to go into the bank in a trust account. It may as well be gone.

Then when I was 20 my dad emptied my trust account anyways, to help pay for his new life with a hooker he "saved".

It is not his parents' money. There have been several cases where child stars have sued their parents for stealing their money.
