Calling it "transitioned" is already a mistake. Calling it "mutilated" would be more appropriate.

It's possible that with a few hundred trillions of dollars (note that nowhere this level of funding is being allocated (!)) over a period of five hundred years we could get to the point where you can use a slider on your phone to configure your gender and even have ovaries or a working dick, etc., but right now whatever comes out of any "procedure" should scientifically be seen as a freakshow.

Why would anyone want to help a bunch of crazy doctors advance their knowledge at your expense, because that's ultimately what it is?

For intersex people doing something might be a good idea (e.g. either pick boy or girl), but for anyone that has a set of working sex organs it's just begging for more problems, not because of psychological concerns, but because humanity can't build a working sex organ from scratch yet.

I also find it ridiculous that people with a working set of organs are being helped to convert them into a set of organs that doesn't work.
