With the air inside the boxes and all the matches from one box lighting up at the same time, i'm sure it would make a nice chain reaction.

I watched it on Netflix. Very insightful. It's clear that the CIA is, and has always been, a rogue agency with zero ethics.

Agreed. Perhaps they would've been more successful if they had glued matchboxes on the car instead of individual matches. Yeah, they don't seem very eco-friendly burning a car with all the plastic components in it...

Considering W10's considerable footprint on hard-drive space, this comes off as a piss-poor excuse. Not that I care about Windows; I've been using Linux since 2002(Knoppix was my introduction and I was amazed that an entire OS could run from a CD) and I haven't looked back. But I digress.

True. But I do wonder if it'll affect gaming on the platform and how many legacy applications haven't been ported to 64-bit yet...And I've just switched from an Arch-based distro to a Ubuntu/Debian based one. Oh well...

Welfare is just a drop in the ocean compared to the corporate hand-outs we've seen in the past. GM, Bombardier and a couple of US banks come to mind.

I agree with you on the journalist being a bit of a pretentious twat and antagonizing the border guards. However, my main beef is with the overreach of authority and having one's personal and intimate information being accessed by a government agency. So he had pictures of horrific events; he's a journalist. Moreover, why and how was he deemed a threat? He's American, speaks perfect English and obviously had proper identification. Border agents most certainly had access to his criminal record, if any. He should've been cleared in a matter of minutes.

It's funny how some people think that it's fine being abused and treated like shit by other humans who were given a position of authority in the name of "national security". Governments and corporations are slowly and steadily stripping privates citizens of their rights and privacy. And being complacent most definitely will not further our cause.

I believe Capitalism and Communism are both viable economic systems as long as there is a solid system of checks and balances in place. But no system is immune to corruption and greed.

There is no easy answer to that question. Revolutions bring bloodshed and in some cases, civil war. Activism will most likely get you filed and targeted by a police force who's main objective is social repression, meeting ticketing quotas and protecting private assets. Ideally, it would be stopping the gears of capitalism to a grind by means of a general strike although arranging that and getting a lot of people from the working class on the same page would be quite challenging. People these days are either oblivious to what is going on around them or scared to change anything about their lives because they think there is no other alternative. Anyway, that's my take on it and I could be wrong but that's how I'm seeing it right now. TLDR: Production of necessities and commodities and the administering of, should be put in the hands of the working class; some sort of Anarcho-Syndicalism if you will.
