Who is more valuable, the artist or the plumber? The creative free spirit, or the racist with his fat ass crack hanging out while he rips you off on a repair bill?

You're going to tell me that the far left believes in the dignity and validity of opinions of the deplorable working class? Seriously? Come on. They voted for Trump! They voted for Brexit! They voted for Bolinsaro, for Modi, for Le Pen! They are, as Gene Wilder said in Blazing Saddles, "You know...morons!"

It's not a "both sides" argument. Scientists and doctors have come out on the side of BLM. You can literally point to articles weeks apart that state my side's gatherings good, The Other's are breeding grounds for disease.

Of course there's the little matter of it not being about police but being an attempted Maoist style cultural revolution.

And that the Nazis frequently used disease metaphors to describe Jews.

Maybe they could be convinced, but when you jump directly to the "ur stupid and it's pointless" part, that's counter-productive. Have you considered that your lack of success is directly due to your extremely poor persuasion skills?

Ah, I've seen this concept before. This is about ingroups and outgroups.

The Western Right's outgroup is people who aren't Westerners. BUT the Western Left's outgroup is the Right. The real enemy is Western civilization and specifically white people. This is the best explanation I've ever heard at this link. A bit long but worth reading every word because it answers SO many questions.

http://archive.is/QRJ6m

You will notice that this comic, while being leftist, punches down and attacks the little people. There's no excuse for punching down. You punch up. What you don't do is make a joke at the expense of the less powerful or more oppressed group.

Punching down is a concept in which you're assumed to have a measurable level of power and you're looking for a fight. Now, you can either go after the big guy who might hurt you, or go after the little guy who has absolutely no shot. Either way, you've picked a fight, but one fight is remarkably more noble and worthwhile than the other. Going after the big guy, punching up, is an act of nobility. Going after the little guy, punching down, is an act of bullying.

This is perfectly explained by the ingroup/outgroup concept. The Leftwaffe would obviously never do this to anyone but The Other.

Wha...? The socialist vanguard leads the people! See, the people are too dumb or deluded to know what's in their best interest. It was to take care of Germany's backside so that they could destroy the USSR unimpeded. It obviously didn't work, but that was the idea.

Hitler wanted to ally with Britain, something forgotten today. That's why he let the British Army go at Dunkirk. Without their army, Britain's colonies would all revolt and the British empire would be finished. A great tragedy to be avoided! Hitler made a generous peace offer after France was defeated, only to have it rejected with the vigorous opposition of Churchill the warmonger (and he was a warmonger who never wasted a chance to waste the lives of British soldiers). This was the "Cabinet Crisis" of 1940.

A peace offer was what Rudolf Hess parachuted into Britain with. It's why he was kept incommunicado his whole life, long after ex-Nazis had been rehabilitated and released into West Germany to assist the postwar rebuilding (they were short on elites and badly needed them). This was the cause for much agitation by Communists in the 60s and 70s, and resulted in the famous poll where something like a third of West Germans said they would give shelter to a blood-soaked terrorist fleeing the police.

The US was waging an undeclared war against Germany in the Atlantic. US ships followed German merchant ships from Mexico, broadcasting their position to the British navy. My own grandfather was in the Neutrality Patrol in the Atlantic, where they attacked German naval vessels. The best-known incident was that of the Reuben James, where the US Navy ship positioned itself between the location of a known wolf pack and a convoy packed with war materiel headed for Britain. USS Kearny dropped depth charges on German U-boats while at peace. President Roosevelt announced his infamous "shoot-on-sight" order: that German U-boat "very presence in any waters which America deems vital to its defense constitutes an attack. In the waters which we deem necessary for our defense, American naval vessels and American planes will no longer wait until Axis submarines lurking under the water, or Axis raiders on the surface of the sea, strike their deadly blow—first."

What defense? We were chilling on our side of the Atlantic, why's our defense necessary in the middle of the ocean? And FDR just said their mere presence is grounds to open fire.

Well, I didn't believe it either until I started looking into it. I was shocked what I found.

FDR goaded the Japanese into attacking. He cut off their steel supply, which largely came from American scrap. Then he cut off their oil supply, which came from the Dutch East Indies. He boxed them into a corner without any way out. He empowered the "hate everyone" militarists and pulled the rug from out under the peace faction. If you have the time for it, this is a fantastic video on Japanese factional politics 1919-1945. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qE_iNUXhrfw

Admiral J.O. Richardson: The admiral said he was going to tell a story that the lieutenant could regard as a parable. "Assume", Richardson said, "you were the leader of the greatest nation in the world, and assume that you saw, in another hemisphere, the development of a power which you regarded, and with reasonable support, as a total threat to Western civilization as you knew it. Supposing, however, for various reasons, your conception of the danger was not shared by your constituents, your own people. And you saw the total destruction of western civilization in the hands of this adversary, and your detected in your own people, at the time, on the basis of everything they knew, a lack of appreciation of the problem. Assume you saw that the only salvation of Western civilization was to repel this particular power but that required you to enter a foreign war for which your people were not psychologically or militarily prepared. Assume that what was needed to galvanize your own people for a unified approach towards this basic danger to civilization was an incident in which your posture was clearly of passive non-aggression, and apparent unpreparedness; and the incident in question was a direct act of aggression which had no excuse or justification. Assume that you saw this potentiality developing on the horizon and it was the solution to the dilemma, as you saw it, of saving civilization and galvanizing your own people. It is conceivable, is it not, that you might be less disposed to create a situation in which there might be no doubt as to who struck the first blow"...."It's a fable. You just think about that fable as you study some of this material. And, it's conceivable that it might have some enlightening factors."

That about explains the United States allowing the Japanese to attack her. I recommend the book Infamy, written by a credible historian. He went and read every single piece of correspondence written about the investigation afterwards and concludes, yes the commanders of Pearl Harbor were hung out to dry and blamed so that FDR could have his war.

He's still relevant. The media could have burst out the Epstein story in 2015 and saved a lot of children from being raped. But they didn't, because Bill Clinton was implicated. Everyone knew Hillary was going to rig the Democratic nomination in 2016 and she'd go up against Jeb Bush or some other RINO and win. So they buried the story, were complicit in the rape of children, and got away with it until Project Veritas broke the story and let the world know the truth.

There is still a non-zero chance that Hillary will maneuver behind the scenes to get the Democrat nomination this year. Don't think she ain't trying.

The most frightening thing is how they are 100% in favor of censorship. Like, not even any debate. We have such a negative view of censorship because it doesn't work. It was tried and found wanting. Not being able to discuss the truth was one of the major reasons the Soviet Union fell. Having learned nothing (because it wasn't real socialism) and having cut themselves off from the corpus of Western literature (which is full of "we tried this and here's how it didn't work" lessons) they are now boldly striding forward into the past to repeat actions we know for a fact are mistakes.

How the fuck are the Crips a "revolutionary organization"? I think that's giving them waaay too much credit.

OK, I think it's pretty obvious by now that you're arguing dishonestly. I'm not going to argue with you any more if you're going argue in bad faith like this.

Cite which specific sentence was racist. I've reviewed the comment chain and I don't see anything. I do see a lot of unconscious bigoted classism on your part, though, assuming the working class are just like you and can jet off to another country on a whim and get a job at the drop of a hat.

Lots of people like home, they don't like going anywhere else, and for you to be unaware of this smacks of being uneducated. Something I know isn't true, so what the hell? How do you not have empathy for the little people?

"She" isn't a generic, which you also obviously knew.

Sure it is. She is in use as a generic pronoun, and this happened quite some time ago.

have literally zero idea what I'd do.

Sure, I have a very good idea what you'd do. Hard left types always censor, it's their go-to move. It's as predictable as Republicans lowering taxes.

BLM doesn't hold any territory, and isn't interested in "holding territory".

[citation needed]

What do you call the territory in Seattle they seized? "Now leaving the USA" stated the border control signs.

This is an invasion of Crips territory. Which BLM/Antifa clearly knew before going in.

BLM is not a gang.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

If you like, you can call it a revolutionary organization. Same thing, really. Warlordism is what happens when the state loses its monopoly on violence (c.f. the war on police). The results are always horrible for everyone, and the people at the bottom of society get hit the hardest. It's true in Somalia or any other shithole country that this happens in, and now it's happening here.

Are you going to stop slinging slurs and begin engaging in arguments? You're at the bottom of the Pyramid of Debate. Name-calling isn't an argument.

Rival violent factions fighting over turf is exactly what happens in shitholes like Somalia. Now it's happening here. Yay.

I'm a dude

I'm using she in the generic sense, which you obviously knew.

and I haven't tried to censor you.

Ah, but would you if you had the power to do so? My experience says a resounding "yes".

an opinion. A bad one, at that.

OK, can you make the case this is not two gangs fighting over territory? As happens in Somalia and similar places where law and order has broken down? I mean, a descent into warlordism is the classic scenario in this case. It's not like this is the first time this has happened.

What working class jobs? There aren't any jobs for working class people in Portugal. Besides, who wants to leave house and home, and live in some weird foreign country where they don't speak English and the food smells funny?

YOU love doing these things. You don't speak for the people. You make the mistake of thinking you do, when all you're doing is making class warfare against the people who are hurting the most.

I’m really sorry you’re so angry at the world

There it is again. A refusal to take the argument seriously and dismiss it as some sort of irrational response. Angry at the world, give me a break. It's obvious that EU membership isn't just not in the interest of the people of the UK, it's not in the interest of a lot of the people of the EU, too. Do you think the selection of Von Der Leyen was the behaviour of a transparent, fair and accountable democracy? I don't, I think it disgraces the whole institution. It was what we'd expect from China or other pseudo-democracies.

Boy, it sucks this isn't Reddit and you can't censor people, eh? And where did you get the idea you can speak as "we"? You're just an authoritarian who thinks she can lord it over others.

It's warring thug factions just like on Somalia, and this is not an editorial comment. It's a fact.

Honestly all levels of class use the freedom of movement and you do know that’s true but are pretending it’s not.

What? That's not true at all. Working class don't use it; it's useless. It's like getting a tax break if you own stocks - worthless to the working class.

Brexit is only going to remove opportunities for the British

For YOU, do you understand? It is going to remove opportunities for YOU and your fellow sneering classist bigots. That you cannot understand that others see the world differently than you - isn't that the whole point of being "educated"? For the working class, it's going to mean less competition for jobs and higher wages as employers must improve conditions or go without.

Always! I never understood it until a few years ago an insightful gentleman sat me down and explained that there are people out there who are just not happy unless they are unhappy, or better yet they are spreading their unhappiness to others. That's how they get fulfillment out of life and that's what they like to do. Once I got it suddenly things made a great deal more sense.

If they actually hated us, they'd avoid using our sites. But they're not interested in that - they want to spread unhappiness. And if that sounds small, petty, and pathetic to you - you're absolutely right. But that's the world we live in. We were better off being disconnected from one another and living in our own countries.

Please use the neologism epsteined. Suicided implies she did herself. Epsteining (lower case) means being murdered because the elites would find it inconvenient for you to testify in court and it made to look like a suicide.

It's not far right, but that sure is an easy slur to sling to avoid thinking about the causes of Brexit.

The working class never uses the "freedom of movement" and yet the upper middle class does. When the working class votes in its interest, the upper middle class is absolutely outraged and unleashes a torrent of bigoted, classist abuse as we all saw. You punch up, not down, and yet there were educated people with Ph.Ds shitting all over the little people in a fury of spite.
