What i like about Saidit is that there's no downvoting, you can both click insightful and funny. Which i think it's superior to Reddits' upvote/downvote system.

I agree that spam should be nixed, but I'm not for censoring opposing viewpoints.

Sadly, some are spamming their viewpoint, regardless of logic and evidence.
This makes it too easy for shills to misuse the system.

Counter bad ideas with good ideas. Or just block em. Censorship is a slippery slope.

There is a big difference between the powerful censoring political dissidents and making deliberately disruptive posters more difficult to see.
