I had to stop at “they change the definition of man so it excludes transmen”...

WHAT.

Edit: I tried to read the rest of it, but it just gets worse. And of course, there had to be at least one person in there comparing black people to trans. 🙄

[–]artetolife[S] 67 insightful - 7 fun67 insightful - 6 fun68 insightful - 7 fun -  (8 children)

You missed all the best parts then. Like "if black men are men ... why isn't a trans man a man?"

Totally not racist though.

Unbelievable. And the last reply about FTMs lying on gay dating apps, tricking them into having sex, and “teaching” gay men how to accept and want to experience “boy pussy”. I have no words.

I still want to understand their logic. Whiteness is not the necessary condition to be eligible of the "man" status. This is why black men are men.

It's basic logic, come on

[–]denverkrisMy pronouns are Vodka?/Yes!/please 18 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 0 fun19 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You clearly need to abandon all logic to even go down this path. They're not men and they know it. When others wont play pretend with them it shatters the illusion.

It is all old news. Seems they are taking transwomen logic now and applying it to men. At first it was "if black women can go to women toilets, why transwomen can't?", and now they went other side as well. Took them 3-5 years to switch from lesbians to gay men.

I guess they think people are not born with the skin color they have as adults. Interesting.

Just now I'm wondering which states in the US most of these idiots are from, because some of those states are full of anti-science whackos who try to deliberately undermine their public education. Like Texas. Which influences the textbooks used in other states, in some cases:

This argument is so weird. Like yes they're still a man by the dictionary definition but how many straight women or gay men would honestly want a partner who lost his penis in an accident? Maybe that's not politically correct to say but it's reality, people care about genitals in a partner.

[–]oofreesouloo⚡super lesbian⚡ 48 insightful - 2 fun48 insightful - 1 fun49 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

There's so much wrong on this that I don't know where to start... The part that gay men are feminine and therefore should like women. So basically according to them, feminine = female, masculine = male. Here we go again with this progressive homophobia bs and gender regressive ideology that perpetuates sexist and stupid stereotypes. They have 0 understanding on how sexual orientation works, especially homosexuals and are stupid homophobes. No doubt they're straight people trying be edge and keweeeeeeer

judging by what I'm seeing they're the ones pushing this, they're the ones shutting down any and all conversation and they're the ones who never bring any factual proof to support their points and only base it on "I feel".

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 15 insightful - 2 fun15 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

Plenty of lefties are aghast about this pattern of insane bullying, no worries. I do think we're trying to figure out how to respond to it since it is, indeed, a crapton of bullying and trying to get people fired, etc. So I'm not sure trying to pick a political side will help, here, if it's about just one issue, but it's interesting that conservatives often agree with us more vocally. Gotta start somewhere, but I'm not about to become a conservative because we agree about this particular thing. But having agreement about basic aspects reality is cool and I like that part, as far as it goes.

[–][deleted] 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Agreed. The left always seems to exclude while the right always seems to recruit. They're both creepy to me, but my values (nationalized healthcare, gay marriage, abortions for everyone, worker protections, etc) are more in line with the left, so I will vote accordingly.

[–]Eurowoman24 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Ok I get you, to clarify I should mention that this issue got me to this line of thinking "wait if I agree with the evil conservatives on this issue maybe they're not just dumb hillbillies or power hungry monsters" and so I looked into some more of their policies and found that maybe I'm center? a centrist? A lot of their policies make sense to me and though I don't agree with everything I can recognize that they have good arguments.

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I think it really depends on whose positions you are contemplating. There's more variety among conservatives than we usually notice from our typical distances.

The one thing I would be careful about is how slick some of them are at presenting reasonable-sounding positions that are not actually backed up by facts (or, much too often, empathy or compassion). They're more used to that type of intellectual dishonesty, though sadly some parts of the left seem to be trying hard to catch up. Beware of snake oil.

We could wander off into musing about how much validity there is to scientific attempts to quantify differences between the brains of conservatives and other people, but there's something to be aware of there, as well, particularly as it relates to fear responses and how a person regards authority figures. Don't have time to dig any of that up at the moment.

The world is pretty gray, despite humanity's attempts to simplify it into black and white. I'm hopeful that finding points of agreement constitutes having a bridge which might prove fruitful about other things.

[–]Feather 45 insightful - 2 fun45 insightful - 1 fun46 insightful - 2 fun -  (13 children)

It's pretty natural to be upset by straight women trying force conversion therapy upon others via lies and assault. "I want you and so I'll lie to get you to fuck me and hurt you if you say no," is sociopathic no matter who it's aimed at.

In these cases though, it's not just sociopathic. It's also fucking dumb. If they want to have sex with men, they could easily have sex with straight men.

"Boypussy" pisses me off just as much as "girldick." Both start with a word describing children and end with a porny slang term for a sexual organ. It's so gross.

[–]haveanicedaytoo💗💜💙 38 insightful - 2 fun38 insightful - 1 fun39 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Exactly!! And they can even find straight/bi men who are into being pegged by women.

I really don't understand this feeling, it's such a rapist-mentality. How could anyone enjoy having sex with someone when they know that person doesn't want them and finds them repulsive?

They are so delusional, they think after they whine and cry and threaten and punch, suddenly the gay guy is magically going to fall in love with them and actually want the sex.

[–]Feather 21 insightful - 1 fun21 insightful - 0 fun22 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

And I'm sure that, in their fantasy, the gay guy who falls in love with them will be forever penitent (and therefore in a lower position of power in the relationship) about not having instantly recognized them as the most desirable and legitimate "man" on the planet.

Can confirm. You can be a woman and also do this, for realsies. Without raping anyone, bonus!

I really don't understand this feeling, it's such a rapist-mentality. How could anyone enjoy having sex with someone when they know that person doesn't want them and finds them repulsive?

I'm ready to conclude: Because all of this is political. It isn't personal. Like "political lesbians." No one sane enough to date would start off with this logic, ever. (Obviously they are also malignant narcissists, etc., and that's the overriding problem, but they are a "movement," which also makes their pathology political.)

[–]PenseePansyBio-Sex or Bust 20 insightful - 2 fun20 insightful - 1 fun21 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

If they want to have sex with men, they could easily have sex with straight men.

But that's not all they want, is it? The other part-- the screw-loose-y one-- is having sex with men AS a man. Where it confirms their so-called "gender identity". THAT'S the real point, here: sex as denial of reality. The reality being that they are women.

So the man MUST be gay. Nothing else will do. Because, otherwise... he's attracted to women, by definition. Which means that this might be why he's having sex with her. No matter what he says, or how often he calls her "bro"... even the possibility is a deal-breaker.

See also: "transbians" and lesbians.

If this is accurate, and I can't think of a better explanation, then this is probably the most profound manifestation of internalized misogyny possible.

[–]reluctant_commenter 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

There is a lot of evidence to suggest that this is the case. While there are a few trans-identified people who probably aren't there for the fetish-- specifically, homosexual transsexual (HSTS) individuals and young women trying to escape the misogyny they face living as women-- fetishizing lesbians among men and fetishizing gay men among women run rampant among trans-identified people.

In fact: take it from the horse's mouth. Over 80% of r/MtF self-reported that they had a fetish before coming out as trans. (I haven't found a good survey yet for trans-identified women, but there are tons of examples with all the fujoshi stuff.) https://saidit.net/s/itsafetish/comments/68jm/over_80_of_the_people_in_rmtf_said_they_had_an/

Not enough time to absorb all of that right now, but they seem to be mostly talking about themselves, not gay people they'd like to sleep with after transitioning, so I'm not sure if I'm picking up on exactly what you are seeing. But it's certainly true that to live that out with someone else they'd have to target gay people.

One hell of a rabbit hole.

ETA: "live [that] out" — missing word

[–]reluctant_commenter 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Ah, I get what you mean, yeah I just meant to share that as an example of how widespread the fetish is. While theoretically they could date a bi person of the gender/sex they're trying to present as, there are many other comments I've seen, like the commenter above said, there is an abnormal emphasis on trying to pressure homosexuals to date them.

Makes me think, might be good to get a list going of the "I want to date homosexuals for validation" examples, for reference.

There is just something uniquely repulsive about sex changing fujoshi like this. Not sure why it bothers me more than the reverse, but it does. I had the misfortune to be in the Supernatural fandom on tumblr for a long time and I have read of LOT of these creeps' manifestos. Their beliefs about how gay men work boggle the mind already (saying that a man beating another half to death means one is a top and the other is a bottom that lets it happen because as a genetically defined gay bottom he loves abuse so hitting him isn't wrong; single handedly reviving the gay men are pedophiles trope by writing as much underage incest as they can but pretending it's not immoral because they think this is just how gay men work; etc). For them to take it even further and actually go out into the world and force themselves on gay men just blasts it to dizzying, incomprehensible levels.

I suppose I expect more empathy from my fellow women, having to deal with sexual harassment our whole lives. At least men don't cloak their lesbian fetishes as activism, as far as I know.

1000 x this.

Me and my hubby are life long wrestlers, BJJ and Judo partakers. I have been doing MMA since the mid 90's.

We both teach and coach. MMA,BJJ and Judo.

I dream of the day one of these absolute nutters tries to put hands on. It is ALWAYS those with the least physical ability and skill who advocate for acts of violence. You can tell none of them has ever been in an actual real fight.

Real fights are fucking terrifying. I would literally do almost anything else than get involved in an actual real fight. And I am fairly confident in my own abilities. But fights are terrifying. Getting punched in the face is a wake up call for most when it happens for the first time.

As Mike Tyson said, 'Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the face'. You only have to see videos of these twats in action in fights to see how quickly it nearly always go south for them when they raise their fists.

Even a someone with just mild skill would school these streaks of piss.

Bring it on I say. I am happy to hand out equal rights, and lefts to all and sundry. I do not discriminate.

BJJ and Judo? Wow. What are your ranks in them? I'm a 6h kyu orange belt karateka, which isn't much but still more than most people. I'm interested in continuing my progression after the lockdown, but I have also considered other martial arts. Either way, they are all useful and fun.

[–]CheesyPeas 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I have been doing Judo since I was about 6. My father was a Judoka so were my bro's and sisters. My dad was big on Judo. So as a Judoka under the UK belt system I am a Brown (1st Kyu) and a Brown belt in BJJ. I also as a kid did the WIng Chun > JKD journey as a huge fan of Bruce. I think many of us did. Although I have not undertaken either for over 30 odd years.

I started BJJ much much later in the late 90's once it had come to the UK after being popularized and raised in awareness via the early UFC.

I spar MMA as well. But I am a very very lowly less than Journeyman in MMA. I prefer grappling arts. It suits my body type and size better. And whilst grappling is not without injury and pain. I fucking hate getting punched in the face. My nose has broken enough times over the years to make breathing fun at times. I do not recommend it. My hubby finds it cute luckily.

I only really spar gently these days. And mainly for cardio reasons. My days of being a punching bag for ranked amateurs are long gone.

And yes wholeheartedly agree. TMA or MMA or any derivative of are fantastic ways to keep fit, have fun and meet lots of interesting good people.

I think it something everyone should do.

It really depends on the state. Just be aware of your state and local laws. Most states I know of, and ones I live in, have some kind of force restraint requirement where if prosecution can prove you used more force than necessary you can be prosecuted for a crime. This means, for example, obviously no curb stomping or kicking someone who is down. Definitely never generally trust to some sense of what's right in your state, that ships way too many people up shit creek.

Personally, I've never been a fighter. I like to talk. Fists are for morons and bullies (who are morons). So even if I had to, I don't think I could conceivably cross that force-restraint limit anyway. I don't want to break somebody's bones, I just won't sit there like a jackass while I get my head bikelocked.

In Ireland, you are allowed to use reasonable force in a self-defence scenario. But only as much as it allows you get away. If someone attacks you, and you kick him or her to the ground and then flee the scene, its self defence. But if you kick the assailant after he or she is on the ground, you become the aggressor under Irish law. Not that there should be any sympathy or support for the assailant who started the confrontation- you start shit with someone, you should expect the worst case scenario.

Dude, what the fuck...
I just don't understand why we're letting these psychopaths change the actual definition of biological sex, on top of these blatant homophobic threats of violence.

"...change the definition of man to exclude trans-men."
The fact that someone could say this and not be laughed out of existence makes me feel physically ill.

Can they keep black people out of their racist ass mouths for once?!

Jesus, they're obsessed...

Aiden would get beaten up if she tried to punch an actual gay man. She is living out her violent fantasies over the internet.

Gay men changed the definition of man

No,this is what TRAs are trying to to.

Punch a gay man in the mouth if they reject you

Oh this is not going to go well for any FTM that tries that.

Gay men changed the definition of man

Yeah, words woman and man whole history of humanity had there meaning "trans" included and had gender identity there, but then evil men and women 50 years ago removed "trans" from words "woman" and "man"! To erase billion years of trans history!

That's if they reach the mouth, most of them are 5'2", punch in the dick would have been more appropriate

definition

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it definitely is an eagle traped in a duck body. Elementary My Dear Watson!

As a lesbian on here commented on a TRA who wrote:

"A transman is a man -- it, LITERALLY, has the word "man" in the term."

Ergo:
A seahorse is a horse -- it, LITERALLY, has the word "horse" in the term.

Maybe don't talk to them about seahorses, they are one of their "trans in nature" examples because the males get pregnant 🙄

Did you just assume my identity!?!

So what happens when gay men punch back? I'm very curious what the outcome will be, and how many shocked faces there are going to be.

Not even 10 seconds into the post and I'm just like...bitch what

[–]blackrainbow 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Why don't they explain this also to straight men?

[–]VioletRemiCat, homosexual one 13 insightful - 6 fun13 insightful - 5 fun14 insightful - 6 fun -  (1 child)

Some transwomen do, you can see them as majority of "hate crime against transgenders" victims statistics.

[–]blackrainbow 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think they are mostly prostitutes

I know I'm not inventing the wheel here or anything, but I was born and raised Catholic. Went to Catholic school until high school. I remember hearing things similar to what these TRAs are saying.

I remember hearing that gay men would like vagina if they tried it. I would probably outgrow being gay or I could still find a wife one day. It goes on.

Nowadays, people would call that conversion therapy (though no one actually tried to convert me) but if these TRAs do it, they're celebrated and supported. It really hurts hearing or reading stuff like this because of my past, but in today's world, it's not like anyone cares because I'm just a gay man, so my feelings and experiences don't matter.

Well that's mostly a rant-y mess (because nothing else is possible there), but:

they change the definition of man

applies to those who conform to their narrow world view

LOL no. People don't have worldviews at birth. They have genitals.

Didn't you hear? Nobody ever says that, so we can all go home! 🎉

[–]Uranian 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Ugh. This is plain homophobia. Straight women cosplaying my sexual orientation can fuck off. No gay man wants your minge or your strap-on, girl, just fuck another transman and shut the fuck up.

Oh I am so scared. I guess I better give an Australian kiss to Transtastic Trent in case she - I mean he - punches me. I might accidentally elbow her - I mean him - in the chin. How will my elbow recover from the three nanoseconds of light pain?

/s

Yeah, I'm still not going to have sex with a transman. These napoleon complexes can talk a big fight all they want, but they don't stand a chance. But the real concern is that whenever they lose a fight, they screech transphobia. But whatever. Still not going anywhere near a vagina or a leg-skinned sausage.

And seriously, gay men are feminine? Yes, a lot of gay men are, but I'm not. I've met quite a few masculine gay men in real life as well. But let's say I find myself a feminine boyfriend; he still has more than a certain level of testosterone, he still has the male body structure and he still has xy-chromosomes. Masculine women still don't cut it for me, because they're women. Not even Buck Angel could convince me to turn slightly bisexual.

[–]artetolife[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I would say the vast majority of gay men are not feminine at all. Back when the small-town gay bars were still a thing, if a feminine twink showed up they'd be laughed at.

[–]radarladal 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This is some of the most homophobic bullshit I’ve read in a long time

How disgusting

[–]Shadow_the_Hedgehog 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I can guarantee you these women will immediately cry foul and detransition in a fucking hurry if they actually got the "equality" they wanted when charged like a man that has committed sexual assault and sentenced to a men's prison.

It will never happen because they'd still be viewed as women in the context of those laws of course. And the fact that anyone acting like this probably doesn't have gender dysphoria in the first place and is still clocked as female.

[–]artetolife[S] 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

There are posts on reddit by FTMs who went to jail and all of them cried until they were allowed into women's jail. Suddenly all the validation and gender euphoria doesn't matter then.

[–]Shadow_the_Hedgehog 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Wait really? I guess I had never heard of FtMs being sent to men's prison. Usually the opposite of MtFs demanding the women's prison.

I did try to find some news articles and such posts on reddit but again can only find the opposite. Unsurprised at their sudden change of mind though.

I’ve been looking for this thread anyone know which subreddit it was posted in?
