Right wing chads are pretending to be woke to date women and feminists are MAD. Vice talks about 'wokefishing' and how feminists and woke women are getting duped. Eventually a lot of these women resentfully admit they are more attracted to Chads over soyboys who wanna wear their underwear. by Chipit in Feminism

No, women are not “resentfully admitting they are more attracted to Chads over soyboys who wanna wear their underwear.”

The only people who use terms like “Chad” or “soyboy” are redpill and MRA misogynists who hate women and gay people

That’s an illusion of the level of control you have over what your kids are exposed to. Don’t get me wrong, I hope it works out, I just have seen many parents make the same mistake and that level of attempt for completely control over the influences of children are successful, in the short term, but not forever.

No one can identify out of sex and gender-based oppression.

Gender-critical feminist: I care about the rights and safety of women, so if you disagree with me, you must be a misogynist. It’s not so simple. Trans Rights Activisits TRAs do often actively work against feminist goals for equality of women. It might not be based in “hatred” but simple misguided intentions. TRAs often try to support sexist stereotypes that “gender critical” feminists call out for being another tool of oppression and patriarchy.

This is drowned out by the dozens upon dozens of reports and books that say the opposite.

40% of the rapists in a rape culture are women. The DRC is a place where there is a real Rape Culture; where raping enemies is normal as a means of torturing them, and as a sick entertainment. Men rape both women and men far more often than women do. It’s a men’s problem.

Women attempt suicide more often than men but men die from suicide more often because of choosing more violent

Women were blocked from working and are still unequal in the workforce and receive less income and hold fewer assets than men so taxes are lesser. Those reasons are also part of why consumption is higher for women.

Women’s healthcare does not receive more funding, that is false. Almost no pharmaceuticals are tested on women, even if it’s a drug specifically for a women’s health concern.

Women do not control 66% of the worlds wealth. That’s false. Men still own the majority of money worldwide.

Women are responsible for houseware and childcare in households 80% of the time.

Women have only graduated universities at higher rates in the past few years, and it still doesn’t lead to leadership positions in careers or academia at the same rate as men.

[–]radarladal 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

First it’s a mistake to overlook the fact that HAES and fat acceptance originated from the oppression and objectification of women’s bodies. Women’s bodies and body sizes are one of the most stringent ways the patriarchy controls women and keeps them vulnerable. In the current patriarchy, the only “correct” body is a young, thin, non-disabled body, and women are expected and pushed to spend all available time and resources to conform to that template. Any woman who doesn’t is in a “wrong” or “unacceptable” body.

Women are criticized, ostracized and vilified all the time for having sexual desire and showing their sexual desire. I think it originated from there, that women being confident in sexual desire and outspoken about it are subverting the patriarchal notions of what is acceptable for women.

I didn't want to confuse him too much by telling how women are subjected to very strict norms regarding our looks since we're like - out of the womb, basically. But it made me think of something: this whole beauty shit.

There’s double the privilege - one, that men aren’t judged AT ALL by their looks, and two, the ability for them to ignore how ALL WOMEN are judged and valued based on looks. Not only do they live free of that oppression, but they get to be ignorant of the oppression of women

I've never actually heard TRAs claim that females should stop talking about the female body.

They do say that, and often. Saying words like vagina, uterus, period, labia are called transphobic all the time especially on social media. Women can’t even talk about their own monthly menstruation without being called transphobic
