That’s an illusion of the level of control you have over what your kids are exposed to. Don’t get me wrong, I hope it works out, I just have seen many parents make the same mistake and that level of attempt for completely control over the influences of children are successful, in the short term, but not forever.

It’s not so simple. Trans Rights Activisits TRAs do often actively work against feminist goals for equality of women. It might not be based in “hatred” but simple misguided intentions. First it’s a mistake to overlook the fact that HAES and fat acceptance originated from the oppression and objectification of women’s bodies. I didn't want to confuse him too much by telling how women are subjected to very strict norms regarding our looks since we're like - out of the womb, basically. But it made me think of something: this whole beauty shit.

There’s double the privilege - one, that men aren’t judged AT ALL by their looks, and two, the ability for them to ignore how ALL WOMEN are judged and valued based on looks. Not only do they live free of that oppression, but they get to be ignorant of the oppression of women

I've never actually heard TRAs claim that females should stop talking about the female body.

They do say that, and often. Saying words like vagina, uterus, period, labia are called transphobic all the time especially on social media. Women can’t even talk about their own monthly menstruation without being called transphobic
