Sounds familiar. Leftist mayors are already stating they won't cooperate with mass deportation. I'd love to know the real reason why, but they'll say it's for humanitarian reasons. Why spend a bunch of money putting American homeless up in hotels and giving them phones when you can do it for illegal immigrants and win points with your base?

There's nothing to conflate, what's the point of considering labor, work, and action here.

You considered his political action the same as animal labor (of eating), conflating the Homo Politicus with Animal Laborans. This is a differentiation as old as Aristotle who called humans political animals [zoon politikon], and what separates humans from beasts is political action (Homo Politicus vs Animal Laborans). Luigi's action cannot be compared to that of a lion eating a gazelle, which is merely labor, a necessity, unrelated to human contributions to the polis.

You're assuming this is going to fix anything.

Also not true.

Better Back Pain Tips by onemananswerfactory in Articles

[–]MACHINE-GOD-THEORY 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

A painful stimulus evokes a cascade of biochemical signals culminating in altered hormone levels, muscle tension, and behavioral adaptations designed to alleviate discomfort. Whether originating from internal organs, external stressors, or genetic predispositions, pain emerges as a ubiquitous phenomenon influenced by myriad factors impacting physiology, psychology, and behavior. At its core, pain denotes a distressing sensation felt inside the body, representing a disruptionto homeostasis resulting from structural damage, metabolic derangement, or neurological insult. Despite its negative connotations, pain plays a vital role in maintaining normal functioning and preventing unnecessary morbidity and mortality.

Physiological mechanisms underlying pain initiation vary depending on the location and type of tissue injured but commonly involve alterations in neurotransmitter function, calcium influx, and inflammatory mediators. Neurotransmitters such as gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) modulate pain signaling pathways thereby regulating neuronal excitability and inhibiting excessive sensitization observed in pathological situations. Similarly, prostaglandins produced by immune cells act locally within tissues to induce vasodilation, constriction, and edema, facilitating local circulation and protecting sensitive structures from ischemia reperfusion injury.

Emotional components of pain manifest in varying degrees according to the origin and perpetrator of the trauma. Trauma survivors may experience intense fear, helplessness, and guilt due to witnessing violence or losing loved ones; prolonged grief disorder afflicts those left behind during times of loss. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) results from exposure to traumatic events coupled with reinterpretation of memories, intrusive thoughts, and avoidance behaviors characteristic of PTSD. Comorbid psychiatric problems such as bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and personality disorders add layers of complexity to the syndrome affecting communication, insight, and adherence to treatment plans.

Beyond immediate effects, pain persists long after initial adversity subsides, influencing future decision-making, rehabilitation, and recovery processes. Factors such as aging, obesity, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and comorbid illnesses increase the likelihood of developing chronic pain states requiring ongoing management and support. Healthcare professionals must address modifiable risks contributing to poor healing environments, inadequate pain management practices, suboptimal wound care, and ineffective treatments undermining patient autonomy and confidence.

Efforts to combat drug trafficking, organized crime, and environmental degradation necessitate innovative solutions targeting root causes rather than merely mitigating adverse effects. Harm reduction programs aim to mitigate the spread of harmful substances responsibly utilizing nontoxic alternatives alongside stringent regulations mandating labeling requirements, surveillance systems, and accountability metrics. Initiatives focused on decriminalizing illegal narcotics, combating street level distribution, and advocating for more equitable enforcement methods leverage collective action toward positive change.

In conclusion, pain stands as a

This is my 12th day of protest. Hi there /u/magnora7, I've been working on a project with the guys of DAR but I'm unfortunately banned from the group right now. Please listen before you do something, I don't want any sanctions against DAR, in fact, if there are any, I want them to be removed, but I still want my ban to be lifted. I think debatealtright has potential to become a decent counter-intelligence site but people over there need some serious guidance and the whole thing is pointless if I'm isolated from the group or if DAR remains isolated as well, we can think of something if they cross lines but DAR needs exposure regardless. I'll add that we need new mods, with site wide powers over here as well. Span has gotten really bad so I offer myself for the position but overall we need a whole new team as well. I think Saidit is being affected badly so I can't stand still while all of this happens.

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

So that's how the rich Republicans and thier delusional followers will spin this. Let's worship and feel sorry for the mega rich, the CEOs of companies that make $22 billion annually while refusing a third of their insured customers the insurance those customers were promised and have paid for, while those millions of customers who were refused their rightful financial support have suffered extremely, gone into insurmountable medical debt and in many cases have died of their untreated or poorly treated problems, passing on their massive medical debts to family members.

If Republicans want to support the abuses and injustices of the ESTABLISHMENT, why did they promise their supporters the Repuplicans were personified in Trump, who would supposedly take on the establishment.

We know that Republican pay-to-play corruption has since the Reagan era increased profits for CEOs and the mega rich, while the 99% languished in increasing squalor.

If you and Republicans would like to keep your promises to challenge the establishment, then you shouldn't be bothered by the super rare death of a CEO at the hands of the suffering masses.

There is no longer a 'left' and a 'right'. There is rich and poor. Guess which one of these groups need to get off of their asses and fight for their rights.

Nope - he's obviously a hero, bringing much needed attention to the obvious abuses of the US healthcare industry. Americans need to think more about the abuses of Big Corp. He helped make that happen.

UnitedHealthcare made $22 billion in profit last year, while they refused an estimated one third of the submitted claims, supposedly more than other insurers.

The shooter is a vigilante and will suffer for his crime, but the benefits of his actions far outweigh the consequences. According to his valedictorian speech in 2016, he's well aware that he'll be remembered for taking a stand against the horrific abuses of the healthcare industry.

He's absolutely not a threat to democracy, nor is he an insurrectionist.

CEOs of major healthcare companies are arguably guilty of so-called white-collar [legal] crime: where a third of their insured patients suffer and die because of rejected claims, while the company profits by $22 billion/year. Americans are not addressing this problem. One vigilante addressed it in a manner that brings much needed attention to the injustices of the healthcare industry.

One of those things I think should be illegal. As a business primarily. I'm less totally weired out at the idea of say, someone's sister deciding to surrogate for their family that can't do it themselves. But when it comes to paying someone to do it for you, kinda just seems like it's immoral to me. Like it seems like you are essentially buying a child and taking it from its mother. Even if the child is genetically yours, smells like slavery to me.

I'm not sure why gay people can't just have kids the old fashioned way. Either adopt a poor orphan than needs a home or just have a gay couple find a lesbian couple they don't mind and work something out.

You know rather than paying some woman to get inseminated, carry to term, and then you take the baby. What's the difference between that and going to some shithole country and just buying a baby off someone? Smells like slavery.

The man who shot the CEO do you consider him to be a villain or a hero? by TheBlackSun in AskSaidIt

CEO Killers attempt to portray themselves as Hero of the common people, but their methods are highly questionable. Yes, the ultra-rich, including the big corporate/government management are truly the biggest villians of modern societies, especially those involved with wars/weapons/genocides. And many people viewed overcharging medical fees for severly-ill patients as a form of genoicde, whether it be from price-gouging from doctors or middle-men isurance companies.

But murder are always the worst of crimes, worser than rapes and mugging/thefts. And killing just one CEO does not lead to any long term systematic solution - as one evil ultra-rich greedy CEO can easily be replaced by another lazy-ass-chair fatcat breaucrat/manager.

The better solutions is to lock up those evil greedy ultra-rich, with systematic fixes/breakup of the theiving big.corporate ponzi hierarchy-pyramids, and reverse their wealth fortunes so the CEO's vast amount of ill-gotten/stolen/overclaimed wealth is forcibly flowed back into society - especially to the frontline / bottom level workers who did the actual deeds of contributing to society, and not the leeching managers.

I am certain the real historical Jesus did not view himself as a King, as he made no attempts in unjust tyrant rulerships. I suspect the addenum of "Kings" or "Kingdom of God" is more likely added on later in the historical books by those greedlings obsessed with unjust tyranny and "rulerships".

Jesus had only spoke the words of God and teachings on ethics on noble deeds, and his way of life is more like a preacher beggar traveller on the streets, which is the opposite of a greedy evil rich king / ruler. And many passages in the bible and historical evidences support this observation.

He certainly did not treat his fellow people as "servants" beneath him! But instead he beckon them as fellow lambs under God, in a fellowship to live a humble life of virtues and adequate means, instead of the evil wicked excessive greed of the ultra-rich.

Also, you can tell a female narcissist by her username; "[x]girl," every single time. Because they want you to know they're a female after all, so simps can simp to them. You never see male signifiers like "Mr. Black" or "Beer Guy" or whatever. My favorite is "Boobgirl." Wasn't even a lesbian.

Isn't it strange that chocolate is not considered healthy or safe for any animal? But humans can safely eat it? by In-the-clouds in AskSaidIt

[–]Mcheetah 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Gemini AI:

Humans can metabolize theobromine quickly. Humans can break down and excrete theobromine, the main toxic ingredient in chocolate, quickly.

Animals can't metabolize theobromine quickly. Many animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits, can't metabolize theobromine as quickly as humans. Even a small amount of chocolate can poison them.

Theobromine affects the nervous, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. Theobromine stimulates the nervous and cardiovascular systems, and can cause gastrointestinal upset.

The inverse of chocolate is raw meat; humans can't eat it without being poisonous to them due to having really weak stomach bacteria.

Creating a game is an exhilarating journey, and designing Mahjong Ways was no exception. Inspired by the classic Chinese tile-matching game, I sought to modernize it with vibrant visuals and innovative mechanics. The goal was to blend tradition with excitement, offering players a mix of strategy and fun. Incorporating cascading reels and multipliers added a thrilling dynamic. Every design element, from sound effects to animations, was meticulously crafted to honor mahjong's cultural roots while enhancing gameplay. The joy of bringing mahjong ways to life has been truly rewarding!

He's just another criminal, regardless of the fact that his victim was also a scumbag. And a lot of the people lining up to fellate him like he's some kind of modern-day Robin Hood are, from what I've seen and heard so far, the exact same people who love the idea of "bashing the fash" but lose their shit over "insurrectionists" and their so-called threat to democracy. Not exactly a glowing recommendation.

Edit: I suppose I could have been a clearer about the point I was trying to make when I mentioned that "bash the fash" thing. I'm calling them hypocrites, in that they'll gladly support violence against the so-called right targets, but get outraged when someone does the exact same thing but from the other side of their ideological divide. I suppose a better comparison would have been cheering this guy for murking a CEO, but then calling for Daniel Penny to buried under the prison for terminally choking out that fucker on the subway.

Problems with diasporas around the World

Syrians > many are in Europe, many are Anti-Assad and are backing the HTS terrorists who took power but they would not want to live in a radical Islamist state and are happy to stay in Europe, many living out of Eu social welfare.

Cubans > most live in the US, most were not even born in Cuba, they want Castro to be toppled and are putting pressure on every US government to keep sanctions and keep starving Cubans and yet they will not go back to Cuba as they have fully adopted Western lifestyle and western brainwashing.

Venezuelans > many are in the US living their US dreams and hope of better life, they don't want to go back to Venezuela and would not care if Venezuela's wealth is sold to the gringos but still, they want to have a say in Venezuela's politics

Iran > many are from the very wealthy generation that left Iran because they could not keep on sharing the wealth from oil and gas with their US masters. They could not care less about Iran as they have adopted a new country and new lifestyle.

Moldavians > the huge diaspora living in the EU tilted the vote in favour of the EU because they want to make sure they have the possibility to live and work in the EU, outside of Moldavia as they could have a better standard of living and yet they don't mind Moldavia loosing its sovereignty in favour of the globalist elites running EU from Brussels and working for the destruction of nation state. This diaspora has selfish aims, don't want to go back to Moldavia and yet are influencing its politics.

Ukrainians > for the ones living in the EU, they want Ukrainians living in Ukraine to fight against Russia no matter the cost and yet....many have escaped because they don't want to die for corrupt politicians and globalist elites and they are glad to live outside the poorest and most corrupt country in Europe, most don't want to go back.

At such a dramatic rate, scientists say it's possible in 10 years that the Arctic could be ice-free for at least a day.

They're not wrong in terms of the analysis from 2012.

If you look at the dropping arctic sea ice mass.

If we get an event this the coming summer that is as far below the trend line as 2012 was, we would have sea ice mass in September.
