It was banned because of privacy and security concerns.

Not because it has a rat, and datamining baked in, (all the other stuff does, too) but because those things are outside the grasp of the US government, and used for Chinese espionage.

It has nothing to do with Jews, (or Muslims, Christians, political affiliations, etc.) The US government simply wants their backdoor.

Other companies who grew larger found themselves pressed, and the ones who didn't play ball got broken up or sanctioned into obscurity, and the ones who do play ball are allowed to get away with egregious privacy violations without consequence.
