SF is so amazingly bad, I wonder if there will arrive a time when the people living there actually want it to change and improve.

SF is like one giant exercise in denial. Pretending things aren't happening that are obviously happening.

The stats are plunging because most people don't reports the thefts any more because cops can't do anything. Even if they did find and arrest a thief, they are let out immediately so there's no point.

Corrupt District Attorneys (DAs) that will not convict seems to be a common theme in places like this. And I've heard talk the elections for DAs are often swayed by Soros and other billionaires...

I don't know if they're corrupt or just extreme ideologues, but yes it's becoming more common and the most lenient DAs typically have their campaigns funded by Soros. I believe he's simply following the Coward-Piven strategy.
