So I guess a good way to understand the enemy is knowing about their philosophy. In another one of my posts, I described the Jesuits as a group of Communist Mystics. While this is an accurate description, even their communism is derived from their monkery. Catholicism is a religion that places value in ascetic practices to reach virtue. The problem of the Jesuits is that they take this basic principle and twist it in a deranged way. They worship the supernatural and associate it with Christ, to a point in which they see the material world as a corruption. So they could also be described as Catholic extremists.

This is also the reason behind the anti-Semitism of the group. They hate the Jews because they see them as a rival materialist and nationalist group, however, their hatred isn't limited to the Jews alone, they hate nationalists of all kind because of the reasons I mentioned, and this let to them having many conflicts with the old Protestants.

What made Protestantism different back then compared to nowadays is that they thought that because of the rejection of idolatry by the Bible, the most important thing to become one of God's chosen was following the commandments, they rejected metapsysics because they saw it as a potential source of philosophical corruption, kind of like the evils of free will. These two groups fought each other for a long time in order to see who got to control the White Nations. I've written a lot about the fight of these two groups over here:
