Dana is actually a good example of the phenomenon that I’m talking about. It started out as a boy’s name and then people started using it for girls. Once a boy’s name starts getting more associated with girls than with boys it becomes all but abandoned (or close to it) as a boys name. Another example is Morgan.

Sam and Alex are different because they’re generally nicknames not a given name.

Ntot quite right.

High BP is one of the common listed comorbidities and most people live for decades with it. Obesity too. And diabetes. Hardly serious, and very common.

You left out one crucial detail. Everyone dying from this is 70, or older.

Overall, the answer is no. I think you have to be rigorous in terms of how you answer this question. If you look strictly at gay marriage, the various decisions in different countries didn't in and of themselves lead to what we are dealing with now.

The movement towards the focus on gender ideology began with academics like Judith Butler and was popularized by others including Riki Wilchins. Keep in mind that Camp Trans, the organized opposition to the female-only policy of MichFest started all the way back in 1994, and, at the time, it had little to do with LGB activism. It was aimed at feminists, not at the common enemies of LGB, namely religious conservatives and their allies.

I would argue, having been around at the time, that LGB rights and the TQ+ were fairly distinct, and it wasn't uncommon to hear from the self-described Radical Queers that gay marriage was some kind of assimilationist, bourgeois effort that wasn't part of their agenda at all. They weren't interested in monogamy and white picket fences.

What I think you have is two parallel strains that never really had that many goals in common. What did happen is that after the SCOTUS marriage decision in the U.S., a lot of LGB-founded organizations pivoted to TQ+ gender issues in order to continue to have something to do to justify the corporate money they still had coming in.

So, yes, I think you are getting the chain of causality wrong. I understand how it looks to conservatives because they aren't in a position to distinguish between the LGB and the TQ+. It all looks the same to them.

Don't see why this is such a huge deal. Pakistan is allied with China and especially will do anything in their power to destabilize India. In the article the Pakistani ISI is already funding the NE Mongoloids, which means Pakistan is carrying out China's dirty work, without China taking any of the blame for it (since they have on paper refused to help them). China funds and supports Pakistan, so it is indirectly helping the NE Mongoloids. Imo, this is a very cunning move by China.

China is on crossfires by almost the whole world, it does not want to be seen as the aggressor in any circumstances. A move like this, helps destabilize India, while also achieving their other goal.

The culture war is not a right-wing myth

News stories that only five years ago would have been dismissed as asinine aberrations now recur with a quotidian certainty. Recent notable examples include: Princeton University confessing to ‘systemic racism’, leading to an investigation by the Department of Education on the grounds that racism is a violation of civil-rights law; the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts making a similar admission, thereby emboldening some of its students to produce a 100-page document full of demands so entitled that it would make Veruca Salt blush; and an academic and novelist stating that debate is ‘an imperialist capitalist white supremacist cis-heteropatriarchal technique that transforms a potential exchange of knowledge into a tool of exclusion and oppression’. Yes, the culture war is the ‘New Normal’.

Yet with all the evidence before our eyes, certain commentators persist with their view that the culture war is a right-wing myth advanced by those who are resistant to change. ‘There’s no actual “culture war”, is there?’, writes LBC’s James O’Brien: ‘It’s just a new way of describing disagreements between people who hate racism and discrimination and people who love it.’ Then there is the Guardian’s Owen Jones, who maintains that ‘a lot of what’s called “the culture war” is just younger people trying to assert their different social and moral values over older generations who run most of the media’. Nesrine Malik has argued that the culture war has been manufactured by the right, although it will not have escaped most people’s attention that the majority of salvos come from the left side of the battlefield.

It’s this kind of gaslighting – to borrow the language of social-justice activists – that we have already seen from writers who insist that ‘cancel culture’ doesn’t exist, in spite of abundant and incontrovertible evidence that it does.

I hope so too, that at least the craziest parts will fizzle out with time. It was really amusing to see honestly. Being in the trans cult so long and watching them constantly use this tactic. They'll say something then as soon as they're called out on their bullshit it's "no one is saying that." They did it with gaslighting lesbians into sleeping with trans women - "You're transphobic if you won't try dick (2 secs later) no one is saying you can't have a genital preference." They did it with the biological sex thing - "Cis women are transphobic bringing up their biological functions (2 secs later) no one is denying biological sex, we're just saying gender is different."

But gender identity is the backbone of all things trans. They even threw out the dysphoria requirement and said if you "feel" male or female and gravitate toward a certain set of stereotypes then you are, whether you're dysphoric or not. If they go back on this, which they've started to because people have realized almost no one "feels" male or female, then this house of cards is bound to fall.

I’m glad you mentioned “Why Does He Do That?” Another relevant book is “The Gift of Fear.” I’ve been thinking about how these two books used to be recommended all the time in r/relationships. Idk if they still are, but if they are, it’s very ironic because they are fervently pro-trans there. It used to be that they prioritized women but now it’s trans people they prioritize.

Anyway, everything that TRAs push on us is directly contradictory to The Gift Of Fear, which teaches us to trust and not ignore our instincts when it comes to signs of danger, red flags, and something being very off. Now we are told that if we listen to our accurate instincts, we are bigots.

I’m scared for young people growing up in this but especially for young girls and gay kids. They are going to suffer the most because they are going to be the biggest victims of this ideology and they won’t be able to talk about their experiences out of fear of the consequences.

I think I was more comfortable when I was in my 20s than now (I'm 33). Might be that I'm a bit older now? It's not that we don't do any PDAs now, quite the opposite, but it's more what we do than how much. So, I'll be very comfortable holding my gf's hand, or walking arm in arm, or with my arm around her waist, sitting very close, her sitting on my lap, her head on my shoulder or viceversa, etc. The occasional long kiss, When I was in my early 20s, though, I would go as far as getting a hand under her clothes, much more kissing and heavy petting. As I say, part of it is maturity, I guess (not that PDAs are immature, but rather that you become more aware of other people and personal space as you grow older), but a clear element here is also the fact that over the years some of these PDAs have attracted stares and the wrong kind of attention. My gf is from Eastern Europe, and where she grew, PDAs between two women would have actually put her in danger, and that has influenced her to this day.

Post-modernistic queer theory. You can identify as whatever you want because words are just disembodied “labels” that don’t need to be consistent with your behavior.

“Lesbian” has become such a pornified term and rarely applies to actual lesbians in porn anyway. So he has adopted that “label” for his porn fantasy.

I found Planetfall engaging enough while I was reading it, but at the end when I thought back on it, I was really underwhelmed. There was really nothing new or original in the messages of the book, and what messages there were, were quite mean and small. Also, the religious undertones/overtones were not my favourite thing ever. And, like, sure, not every lesbian in media has to be an amazing hero character, but I feel like any time a (straight) writer wants some woman who is really out there and fucked up in some way, they will ALWYAS make that character a lesbian, because we all know what fucken' weirdos those lezzers are, amiright? (/s)

I already have books 3 and 4, and I will read them purely because I (sadly) already spent the money, but book 3 especially I am not looking forward to with its non-binary woke pandering. Book 4 actually looks like it has the potential to be good, but I just can't get my hopes up after what I've been through with this series. Don't think I will give this author any more of my time once I'm done with what I have.

I suspect a lot of us felt the legal fight in the west was won with gay marriage, and looked away.

I know that happened to me, I lost interest, the last big legal struggle was done, clearly things will get better for the LGB youth, acceptance will rise, we will be equal etc. Then I look back at these organisations that once helped me, and see they are now miss-using thier hard won respect and power to push idologies and belief systems, some of which are opposed to my existence, and not to help people. I suspect they had to justify thier existence rather than down size or adjust thier focus into the massive social ills we can still face.

I literally just ordered that book solely for this reason. I had written off JK a bit in the last years because I didn't like what she did with the Harry Potter universe and all her weird new ideas that she supposedly already planned 20 years ago while writing the book, all of it clearly untrue. But, at least her stance in this topic I can fully agree on and support.

I don’t think we can judge what her sexual orientation is from this. But it’s clear that she has some unresolved issues. She may be projecting her own insecurity on you. If she dated guys before realizing she was a lesbian and you didn’t, that might make her feel insecure and not “valid” (ugh hate that word). I’m a late bloomer so I understand the embarrassment of taking a long time to figure out and accept something very obvious about myself and I do have a fear that people will accuse me of lying, going through a phase, or having some sort of identity crisis over it even though I can see clearly how it ended up the way it did for me. But I would never project that on an any other woman or get aggressively defensive about it. I generally say “Most of the time I’m not an idiot, but in this very important way I was.” Oversimplification of course but I wouldn’t get into my story with someone Inbarelt know. And I’m not at all bothered by the concept of a “gold star,” especially because I don’t think most people take it that seriously either way.

So maybe she’s bi, maybe she’s an insecure and jealous lesbian. Either way, she has some maturing to do, but thankfully she’s in her early 20s and has time.

What do you mean by “she mentioned a dick” during sex? What a turn-off lol. The constant infusion of men into the conversation could be because she’s new to realizing she’s a lesbian but still trying to shake off the socialization of living in a heteronormative world.

All of those things sound terrible, but not as terrible as giving preteens hormone blockers, forcing everyone to act as if transgender "females" are biologically the same as females, and late term abortions where they literally cut the vocal cords of the baby so it doesn't cry, kill it if it is born alive, and sell off its fully developed organs.

No it is not a slippery slope. Equality is a cause worth fighting for, we all deserve to be treated equally. Trans people are people and so also deserve equality. But homophobia will slip into many movements, and that includes the current version of the TQ+ narrative. We need to be able to challenge that.

Things were not better for gay people (in my country at least) 20 years ago. There was unequal age of consent, it was illegal to talk about us in school, we could be fired, no marriage or partnership, social attitudes were negative and witch hunts in papers were the norm.

The negative TQ+ stuff is hurtful because it comes from people who say they are our allies IMO, general society is very much better, but far from perfect.

Both parents led troubled lives. Dick Carlson was born in Boston in 1941, to a 21-year-old male and a 15-year-old girl—a situation that today would qualify as statutory rape.

Except it didn't happen in 2020 Dalton. Already this article seems highly suspicious.

Only a very disturbed woman would up and leave her husband and two young children for no apparent reason.

What does this have to do with Tucker? I'm liking the guy even more. Makes sense why he has doubled down on being a great father to his children.

As they approach 80, both will soon be passing along a fair amount of money to Tucker.

Hopefully he uses it to start up a new news network.

In any case, Tucker led a privileged life from birth, despite his parental troubles.

This is the RIGHT Dalton. We're not ashamed of white wealth. It's usurious jew wealth and endless corruption we hate.

His salary is in the neighborhood of $6 million per year,[2] and his net worth is variously estimated at $20 million to $30 million.

Those numbers arn't even that high Dalton. Do you live in a cave? Do you have a 54kbs modem? Joe Rogan just got a 100 million for a spotify deal. Negro felons make more then that catching pig bladders for a couple of hours a week. Are you yourself not in media Dalton? Should journalists not make money?

At least his critiques of the wealthy corrupt of our country are well-sourced, given that he is a member of the very club that he loves to lambast.

And he bring up his wealth and status frequently.

Jews are all but invisible on the Tucker Carlson Show.

This is just a blatant lie. It's mainstream media. Tucker gets as close to naming the jew of anybody in the establishment media. How is that a bad thing? He has done segments on Paul Singer, Soros, and lots of other lying jews. If I wasn't jew aware Tucker would have me saying there's something up with this tribe. How is that a bad thing? Do you want him reading the protocols live on air? That would just be good for the Jews because they can silence him. The name of the game is metapolitical warfare.
