[–]doginventer[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Many claim that the USA is unique in this respect, but the British Isles had the First Amendment first and they still have it, alongside the Commonwealth Realms of Canada, Australia and New Zealand and also the Republic of Ireland, where the 1688 English Bill of Rights continues to be on the statute books.

The Petitioning Clause of the First Amendment was no innovation in 1789. It is an amalgam of Articles 5 and 13 of the 1688 English Bill of Rights and Articles 23, 24 and 25 of Scotland’s 1689 Claim of Right. The subjects' immunities of both the English Bill and the Scottish Claim of Right apply to the whole of the UK by virtue of the Acts of Union (Art. 4 Union with Scotland Act 1706; Art. 4 Union with England Act 1707; Art. 6 Union with Ireland Act 1800; Art. 6 Act of Union (Ireland) 1800 and pursuant to Calvin's Case). These combine to provide greater protection than even the US First Amendment in many respects; but Americans need not fear, because any additional rights are supposed to apply in the USA by virtue of the Ninth Amendment, which retained any Colonial subjects' rights that pre-dated the formation of the United States of America.

These constitutional laws were consented to by the respective English and Scottish Convention Parliaments—constitutional conventions assembling when there was no Parliament sitting in either realm—after King James II (VII in Scotland) had departed the Crown. They they were then presented as conditions for the British realms accepting William III as King. Both are structured with a list of grievances against King James, the Heads of Declaration, followed by a list of Subjects’ Rights that King William III was charged with protecting as head of state, much as the US President swears an oath to uphold the Constitution.

Are you fake.... do you lie.... act like something you are not.... perhaps even paid by someone to post according to specific instructions?

It's rare to find someone who is genuine, isn't it? Someone who speaks the truth.... for free.... even if it gets him in trouble with the world.... someone like Jesus Christ, who refused to tell a lie in order to get out of the death penalty.

It's hard to control someone who is not afraid of death, because he knows that Jesus already took the sting of death away from him.

"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

The projections put on an act and fear being seen for who they truly are. If you want to be free from anxiety and fear, repent, and turn to Jesus and appeal for his forgiveness. He is merciful to all who come to him in sincerity and in truth.

[–]shatnermouth [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah for sure, this is essentially just narcissism. A fear of one's own identity, of being "seen". Ask any trans person if they could magically take a pill that would make them okay with their natal bodies and they would probably say no, because the point is not to "become what we're meant to be", it's to escape what they really are.

And yeah, hand in hand with that goes extremely stereotypical, reductive caricatures, because generally when narcissists try out new personas they start with a very surface-level superficial imitation of the things they see other people (or themselves) respond most positively to. Trans women dress and act like dumb bimbos because, as men, those are the most appealing aspects of womanhood to them. That they are unintentionally revealing a misogynistic, diminutive view of women most likely formed in teenagehood and never once questioned since doesn't occur to them as a concern. Nor does it seem to be bothering the larger cultural sphere which is now fully defining womanhood and lesbianism as whatever horny dudes say it is.

Then, IDK, there's like 5% of trans people who are gay people with trauma or who want straight partners/to not be "gay" for some other internalized reason and I guess that's what people call real dysphoria.

Free-fall is a clear indication off demolition.

Because to obtain a free fall, all falling energy must be spent into acceleration. So there is no energy left to break any underlying structure. So all underlying structure has to be removed by some form of demolition.

The side-ways outbursts of all heavy structure, is also indication of some form of explosive material.
So besides accelerating downward, with no energy left to break structure, there is additional energy necessary to eject the heavy structures side-wards.

We see both in WTC 1 and WTC 2.

Thanks. If you follow his reasoning, it comes off as a form of deflection to imply the chosen have no power. Perhaps on a more active community it would be tolerable and productive, but currently it was just forum sliding and spam. Shame what happened here, I used to enjoy the network of people who used to congregate

Here is a song we wrote called "Faith At Darkest Hour". It's about how this seems like the darkest hour for Christians, since the Judeo-Masonic alliance has seeming destroyed Christendom, and it even seems as if the Church has fallen. But there is hope. Menzies did this a number of years ago (with his son I think) at the LCBO and voila, the kid got booze while wearing a bag lady eye slit costume. Priceless.

Russia is sure to lose in Ukraine, reckons a Chinese expert on Russia by ZephirAWT in ScienceUncensored

Denying Russia' only strategy for success Russia cannot defeat Ukraine or the West - and will likely lose - if the West mobilizes its resources to resist the Kremlin. The West’s existing and latent capability dwarfs that of Russia. The combined gross domestic product (GDP) of NATO countries, non-NATO European Union states, and our Asian allies is over $63 trillion.[1] The Russian GDP is on the close order of $1.9 trillion.[2] Iran and North Korea add little in terms of materiel support. China is enabling Russia, but it is not mobilized on behalf of Russia and is unlikely to do so.[3] If we lean in and surge, Russia loses.

Russian hawk pushes case for Putin to toughen policy on nuclear weapons. Sergei Karaganov told Kommersant newspaper in an interview that Moscow could launch a limited nuclear strike on a NATO country without triggering all-out nuclear war. "The assertion that any limited use of nuclear weapons will necessarily lead to a general nuclear Armageddon does not stand up to criticism," he said.

The Ukrainian incursion of Kursk region did show Western countries that Russia actually has no red lines for usage of nuclear weapons. This incursion thus actually made many Western countries annoyed, because they vindicated their withholding of Ukraine military help just by these alleged red lines and fear of Russia retaliation. The classical diplomatic doctrine of Russia is, that when it denies something, then it already thinks of it.
