Even successful "bottom surgeries" are very problematic. Many patients lose functionality of the genitalia, many are permanently deformed for the rest of life, many feel excruciating pain and many have severe hygienic problems.

All of this would be very problematic in recording porn. Consider that a regular porn movie takes at least 4-5 hours of recording people doing crazy sex and even natural actors complain a lot about the conditions they are submitted to.

Summing it up, it would not be aesthetically pleasing, it would not be safe for the parts involved, it would require a lot more work than recording with natural actors and it would not necessaryly generate more money because it is a very specific fetish.

It is happening in Brazil. First it started as a retarded internet fad that we all made jokes about, but somehow it reached the academy and suddenly it was considered a super serious thesis in post-modern linguistics. Most people on real life consider it bullshit, but a small minority that occupies media, NGOs, corporations and all their propaganda are pushing this shit and are doing everything they can to put this retarded language in government and schools.

The Illusory Truth Effect And The "Unprovoked" Invasion Of Ukraine by Drewski in propaganda

[–]outra_pessoa 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

“It’s a very interesting phrase; it was never used before. You look back, you look at Iraq, which was totally unprovoked, nobody ever called it ‘the unprovoked invasion of Iraq.’

Well, Chomsky is really stupid. The term "unprovoked" is a reference to international law. This term has been around for more than 70 years. A provoked war is considered self-defence and is authorized by the United Nations Charter. An unprovoked war is considered a war of aggression, an unlawful intervention in other countries soverheignity.

The Iraq is not an example of an unprovoked war because both the coalition and Iraq were already in war before the 2001 invasion. The war was in fact provoked when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in the 90s, the first gulf war never ended because there was no peace treaty.

It’s just a well-documented fact that the US and its allies provoked this war in a whole host of ways, from NATO expansion to backing regime change in Kyiv to playing along with aggressions against Donbass separatists to pouring weapons into Ukraine. There’s also an abundance of evidence that the US and its allies sabotaged a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine in the early weeks of the war in order to keep this conflict going as long as possible to hurt Russian interests.

None of this is considered Casus Belli, specially for a third non-involved party like Russia.

Dragoons originally were a class of mounted infantry, who used horses for mobility, but dismounted to fight on foot. From the early 17th century onward, dragoons were increasingly also employed as conventional cavalry and trained for combat with swords and firearms from horseback. While their use goes back to the late 16th century, dragoon regiments were established in most European armies during the 17th and early 18th centuries; they provided greater mobility than regular infantry but were far less expensive than cavalry.

"All who met Saint Tikhon were surprised by his accessibility, simplicity and modesty. His gentle disposition did not prevent him from showing firmness in Church matters, however, particularly when he had to defend the Church from her enemies. He bore a very heavy cross. He had to administer and direct the Church amidst wholesale church disorganization, without auxiliary administrative bodies, in conditions of internal schisms and upheavals by various adherents of the Living Church, renovationists, and autocephalists.

The situation was complicated by external circumstances: the change of the political system, by the accession to power of the godless regime, by hunger, and civil war. This was a time when Church property was being confiscated, when clergy were subjected to court trials and persecutions, and Christ’s Church endured repression. News of this came to the Patriarch from all ends of Russia. His exceptionally high moral and religious authority helped him to unite the scattered and enfeebled flock. At a crucial time for the church, his unblemished name was a bright beacon pointing the way to the truth of Orthodoxy. In his messages, he called on people to fulfill the commandments of Christ, and to attain spiritual rebirth through repentance. His irreproachable life was an example to all.

Being a good pastor, who devoted himself entirely to the church’s cause, he called upon the clergy to do the same: 'Devote all your energy to preaching the word of God and the truth of Christ, especially today, when unbelief and atheism are audaciously attacking the Church of Christ. May the God of peace and love be with all of you!'"

A courtly couple stares adoringly at their sleeping baby in a setting that suggests they are the scions of a distinguished Renaissance family. With its period dress, dynamic triangular composition, and idealized figures with alabaster-smooth faces and hands, Gustave Doyen's painting is reminiscent of the Florentine artist Raphael's depictions of the Holy Family, which similarly focus on the miraculous presence of a young child. For Doyen, the Italian Renaissance represented the pinnacle of human achievement in the arts, and it was Raphael who best expressed the spirituality of modern Christianity while depicting the beauty of the human form in a way worthy of the artists of ancient Rome. Doyen's subject is secular, however. His intent may have been to use all of the elevated symbolism at his disposal to convey that the devotion of parents for their newborn child is the highest form of love.
