A Christian community where you can't quote the bible?

[–][deleted] 24 insightful - 8 fun24 insightful - 7 fun25 insightful - 8 fun -  (3 children)

A Christian community where ONE OF THE MODS IS AN ATHEIST.

Sigh.

the senior moderator of the /r/trump forum is a pakistani muslim, living in pakistan.

it is not so important that a moderator of the /r/christianity sub is an atheist, it is more important that they turned your social media/communications portals into a clusterfuck.

It is their intent to scramble everything in your communications, and while you are dazed they will conquer you.

muslims will attack and fight every thing and every one, until they control every aspect of your life.

Ahhhh yes, how's the weather in Tel Aviv?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Probably more than one. I understand how they can somehow justify LGBT mods, but not how they justify having moderators who literally don't even believe in Christianity.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Oh man and another Mod is supposedly methodist, but a trans lesbian. So, that means a dude pretending to be a female, and is attracted to tomboy females.

I understand, it wouldn't be so bad if they made any kind of sense, in either their moderation or their membership, but this is just demented.

That's offensive to me as I sexually identify as a young strong Black lesbian dwarf, yet my sexual preferences remain the same. Just because I dress the same (trapped in poverty) and I look like an old 6ft white male doesn't mean anything anymore. It makes perfect sense and your white male patriarchy can't oppress me any longer.

The person is a fake "lesbian".
And the medical consensus is fake and only pushed by the companies, not by independent scientists.

true, consensus itself = politically motivated

[–]Pononimus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

"Medical Consensus"? Since when is science of any kind a democracy? Can we vote on gravity now? No? Science is not a matter of "consensus." Scientists can't get together and say, "okay, we all think Einstein's theory of relativity is a bunch of bull. Let's all agree to down vote it and say it's false." Why? Because SCIENCE IS NOT A DEMOCRACY! (Trying to use "consensus" to prove a point is one of the oldest Marxist tricks in the book, almost as old as Trotsky's "racist".

The insanity in this one picture sums up most of the things wrong with reddit and the world right now.

[–]carn0ld03 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

In case the image gets taken down by reddit, here's an alt upload to pic8.co so we can keep the trolling going.

It's reddit.

Saidit has s/ChristianRight — a mirror opposite to its Reddit counterpart.

It needs more subscribers though.

Thanks

That sub definitely deserves (like Saidit) to be better known.

How comes a chirstian subreddit have nonchristian mods? What is this nonesense? Imagine a cooking subreddit where the mods only cook microwave food.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

At least microwaving food actually has to do with food. An Atheist moderating r/Christianity makes as much sense as a Communist moderating r/anarchocapitalism.

[–]Pononimus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Why in God's name is an Atheist modding r/Christianity? They don't even try to hide it. That would be like a Communist modding r/anarchocapitalism.

Also, you don't quote Jewish scripture condemning transgenderism to try and prove to Christians why vaccines are evil. It makes literally no sense.

They have it too but it's mostly only in specific denominations like the IFB. Usually it's less child molestation and more rape of adult women.

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

True, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to piss him off, since he was pretending like Catholicism is so much better than Protestantism.

      [–]nordmannen 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

That's not true at all, however you're not a christian anyway so why do you feel the need to make remarks like that?

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

      When did I say I wasn't a Christian?

How does that make it impossible for me to be a Christian? If anyone you disagree with to any extent on anything is suddenly "not a christian": that means the Orthodox church ain't Christian either, doesn't it? Catholics don't have a monopoly on Jesus, even though you think you do — you just have a monopoly on bowing down to a monarch who protects child rapists.

Catholics ain't even Christian, anyways; they're Jewish, since they follow the Torah and other Jewish scripture above what Jesus taught... but I digress. You should really read Mark 2:18-22.

And using the whole "you're transgender" argument to try and shut down any criticism of the Catholic church for protecting pedophiles is an ad hominem, and proves that you know Catholicism is riddled with child molesters and can't present a real argument to prove me wrong. I'd recommend reviewing the Pyramid of Debate, bye!

(Check this guy's post history, and he's obviously an r/AHS troll who knows nothing about being alt right other than spamming slurs.)

Take no offense as a Christian.

        [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Sometimes it feels we are in this hellhole because we are turning into nations of unbelievers where we stand for nothing worth standing for, especially in the west. Sometimes faith can keep things pure and rightous, but at the same time shunning backwards thinking Islamic, Catholic and Zionist sects that promote beheading a poor person over a loaf of bread, and defending sex abusers in places of worship etc must continue. They want everyone spiritually bankrupt so they can push the religion of deviency and corruption onto it's masses. Long story short, good old honest faith is not a bad thing.

        [–]mahavishnunj 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Long story short, good old honest faith is not a bad thing.

It frequently is when it's faith in a dumb thing like organized religion.

        [–]Pononimus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

To say that Christianity is an "organized religion" shows that you know nothing about what it is to be a Christian. Christianity is a way of life that fundamentally and profoundly changes a person for the better. Anybody who's life is truly in Christ knows that.

        [–]mahavishnunj 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Dictionary or·gan·ized re·li·gion Learn to pronounce noun noun: organized religion; plural noun: organized religions; noun: organised religion; plural noun: organised religions

a structured system of faith or worship, especially one followed by a large number of people, such as Christianity, Islam, or Judaism.

I grew up in the cult for half of my life. Not only is it the very definition of "organized religion", it has done way more harm than good. You're right about one thing(after being beyond wrong about the entirety of your reply)-it profoundly changes a person. After figuring out how dumb and horrible the whole thing is it changed me for the better!

        [–]Pononimus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I'm sorry to read that you had a horrible experience with what you euphemistically (and obviously hatefully) call "a cult" but I'll fall back on my own personal experience and guess that you have absolutely no memories at all of ever liking Christianity, Christians or the Church. I'll also call on my fifty plus years of experience and guess that you always hated being told what to do, always hated what you considered "rules" of any kind and anyone or anything that even hinted at rules annoyed you at the least and infuriated you at most. This has been the experience of every Atheist I have ever met. There (often violent and abusive) Atheism started with a hatred of rules starting in early childhood.

Personally, you've made your choice and your mind will not be changed until or unless a profound miracle takes place in your life and that's fine. that's your choice. You have to live with the consequence of it, not me.

Still, for you to insult and belittle something that has worked amazingly well not only for me but for billions of other people all over the world just smacks of bitter pettiness and profound immaturity so I'll just dismiss that and shrug it off as part of the tantrum of a spoiled little boy.

        [–]mahavishnunj 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

a)we are close to the same age. your psychological assessment is typical. to shatter that initial reaction: i am not atheist. deal with that however you want.

b)ive had MANY miracles happen in my life. none had anything to do with nonsense organized religion/christianity.

c)there will be no consequences to live with, realizing how stupid believing in a nonsense book is. im very happy!

d)im glad something works for you. there are fully functioning scientologists, mormons, muslims, tony robbins people, and all followers of a dumb thing. i dont hate any of you, i just shake my head at how you cant figure out something so blatantly retarded. if it works for you-GREAT. but you people frequently fuck it up for the rest of us. thats the problem.

this is not a tantrum, just a reaction to something that is WAY more bad than good. maybe youll figure it out eventually, maybe not. but how you havent is mindblowing to me.

        [–]Pononimus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Actually, if you're a real, true Christian then you should be very happy because everything that we're seeing happening in the world, today, was described in great detail in the Bible and it's very close to it all being fulfilled. Chances are very good that we'll see the return of our Lord Jesus Christ within our Earthly lifetimes! :D

        [–]Vulptex 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

They probably do this because they'll get banned otherwise

        [–]Pononimus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

If that's true and if they're real Christians then why would they remain, other than to try to save that poor, ignorant atheist?
