To me, echo chambers and safe spaces are the same thing. It reminds me when students protest at campuses for "triggering material" to be removed because it has the ability to hurt others, but if you're just going to remove literally anything that remotely disturbs a person then it'll just impede their development and mould them into fragile and overly-anxious people. Most of these things are mild inconveniences at best, they over-react over tiny things because it's what they've been taught to do. The things that were once considered unsafe have expanded to the point where literally anything emotionally hurtful is now percieved as "unsafe". When it isn't really, it's healthy for there to be opposing opinions because it creates good discussion. I think it's easy to distinguish those that are trolls and those that want to make genuine inquiries.

The same can be said for anyone who's community revolves around a certain type of people though, lots of subs have been removed that have been predominately male but that doesn't mean they're trying to "erase men". Most likely similiar to BlackPeopleTwitter, they get users to send the moderators a picture of their arm with their username so as to prove they are black, and then they add flairs to these "verified" users. If you mean "crack and rip" your own games by getting torrents from scenes, check out the piracy megathread here on saidit, you can use a torrent indexer to search for the games you're looking for and then use a torrent client such as Deluge to download them. Make sure to use a VPN unless you live in a country where torrenting isn't really taken seriously. Look for games cracked by popular scenes with a good reputation so that you know what you're torrenting isn't dodgy.

I personally use NordVPN (though Mullvad is probably the best), Deluge and RARBG when it comes to searching for the games I want. With RARBG you need to be a verified account user in order to upload torrents there, so a lot of what's there is legit if it's uploaded by a scene.

Perhaps you could share your grandfather's straight razors on the site, interesting that you did razor commercials. I stopped using Gillette razors just over a year or so ago, I'm glad I made the switch depsite the learning curve. Saving money is always a plus, surprised you never used soap or foam! My skin is incredibly sensitive and would hate it if I just used water or something. I actually want to grow a beard out myself but it always gets to the point where I'm too lazy to trim it, then it gets all scraggily and before you know it I'm shaving it off lol. I should probably have to look into a beard oil or something.

Before I found safety razors, I used to think the more blades there were the better. But turns out that doesn't seem to be the case, it was why my skin hated it so much because I was shaving with 5 blades going across my skin as opposed to one blade with a safety razor.. and after seeing how much they charge for cartridges, I don't think I'll ever be going back to standard razors ever again. You can buy a pack of like 100 razor blades for 10 dollars, and each blade can last 3 or 4 shaves. The biggest investment a person would be making would be the safety razor itself, and those things will literally last generations.

If you ever feel like shaving that beard off, you should definitely give it a try :)

I find the balm terrible, my skin is sensitive and it irritates the fuck out of it. The Arko stick is cheap and does the job, creates a nice and thick lather though some people find the smell to be off-putting. I personally like it, though you can leave the stick out for a month or two and the smell won't be as intense. Astra blades are decent, I find derby to be better for my skin personally. I've recently ordered some feather blades so we'll see how that goes. Brush is basic, is falling apart a bit but wasn't expecting it to last. It's synthetic. The blade handle is great, will last for lifetimes. Has some good weight to it. I especially like the gnurling on the handle, and the inscription at the top that says, "Edwin Jagger". It's a three-piece blade, where the base has the Edwin Jagger logo printed onto it. Excellent attention-to-detail. Easy to clean.
