Absolutely! I believe that they are straight, despite technically being in a same-sex relationship. Even eye-tracking studies seem to confirm that Samoan men open to dating fa'afafine are not even bisexual (just not as "straight" as men unwilling to, apparently).

I recently saw an old British documentary about lesbians (uploaded by BabyRadFemTV) & according to it, 'lesbian' used to be defined as the type of woman who would dress & act like a man & pursue romantic relationships with women. The women they had relationships with were not regarded as lesbians at that time.

I feel like this old view is more accurate than the modern one. Nowadays, we have to all accept that the partner of a lesbian is always another lesbian (or bisexual) & that a heterosexual women can never love another woman. This is why political lesbianism has got such a bad wrap nowadays & seemingly every modern radfem rejects it as being homophobic (even though Sheila Jeffreys is a political lesbian in a very successful long term relationship). Then they wonder why every straight woman identifies as bi – it's bc they can't just be straight anymore if they are open to relationships with women. The modern political lesbian has to identify as febfem in order to avoid the wrath of lesbians & their allies.

Then again, I've heard people say that you can identify as bi even if you're not 50/50 bi – whatever the f*ck that means. I mean, if you're gay but like "5% straight", or whatever, wouldn't you still think of yourself gay? Don't know why a straight person who is "5% gay" is automatically bi. I think if a label were absolutely necessary then "heteroflexible"? But maybe it becomes less about semantics & more about preference as far as these labels are concerned.

lol I did a pre-emptive response to this predictable reaction already. I seem to have done so in vain. We agree that Western men who find Asian women attractive are not paedophiles, but sick. I already made that clear. Genuine paedophiles are into babies & small children exclusively. People like to throw the word 'paedophile' around in order to shame guys who are into underage girls. These men ought to be shamed, but 'paedophiles' they are not.

It may be "disturbing to imply that a group of women are just pedo-bait", but we've all seen anime, right? From a Western perspective they already look underage, then the Eastern standard is for them to sound & act like children too, so yeah if a Western man's "type" is Asian that's a red flag. Personally, I can't stand weebs of either gender.

because their society couldn’t cope with their homosexuality

It's not that they couldn't cope necessarily, just that in those days you'd very likely be "the only gay in the village", so a gay person would have had little choice left to them. Gay people were probably very likely partnered with straight people for the majority of history. It's only in recent times that gay people can find each other to date. Nowadays it's taboo to suggest that straight people got into relationships with gay people, bc everyone has decided that heterosexuality "isn't a choice", bc otherwise the gay rights movement will collapse or something. Everyone's got a sacred calf, it seems, inhibiting their common sense.

In fact, modern gay people who completely lack a cross-gender identification are a new type of gay person, while the transgendered type of gay person would be the "original" type. Which firmly secures that neither is lesser, not that that was the goal, but it just seems to be where the evidence points.

that the homosexual identity only existed because society couldn’t cope with their transgendered identity

The only way for that to be true though is if homosexuality just didn't exist in their culture. You've also got to remember the context of desistance – how most underage people who identify as trans desist & most of those end up being gay, not the other way around. Cross-gender identification seems to be a part in being gay, a very useful part in the olden days.

The female oragsm contributes comparatively little if anything to reproduction when compared to the overall reproductive role the female body engages in, as you pointed out, all it does is ease the process of fertilisation, which has proven to be completely unnecessary in 100% of cases.

More intelligent animals have uses for orgasm outside of reproduction. Human being are one such animal. Obviously we can never totally separate orgasmic pleasure from reproduction, since the former is an outgrowth of the latter, so there will always be some blurred lines.

The two organs I was referring to were the clitoris for pleasure & the birth canal for reproduction. Conversely, men only have 1 organ. This whole time my use of the word 'reproduction' has been androcentric too, since, as you rightly pointed out, reproduction is more than just fertilisation. I've been centring fertilisation, which is why I was counting the birth canal as supposedly the only reproductive organ in the female body.

The author is overlooking sexual incompatibility. It's a legitimate deal-breaker. Fellatio can't substitute for cunnilingus, or vice versa.

Apart from that there is the obvious fact that trans-women have more in common with men than women (upbringing, behaviour, movement, voice, personality traits etc.), but that's not validating, so they have to say the exact opposite of the truth – because it's validating.

I'm not going to dumb it down for you. Accommodating stupidity (feigned or otherwise) never works. Just read it until you understand it.

No feminist is "trans exclusionary". When the trans movement says "exclusionary" what it means is: inclusion that isn't validating. For instance trans-women are allowed to participate in sports – men's sports = inclusion that isn't validating. The entire female sex is included under single-sex rights that feminists fight to protect, that includes trans people, since two thirds of trans people belong to the female sex.

[–]SnowAssMan 10 insightful - 5 fun10 insightful - 4 fun11 insightful - 5 fun -  (0 children)

First you have to acknowledge the greater context: The vast majority of kids & teens with gender dysphoria desist, naturally. Most of those who desist are gay & lesbian. Among the ones who don't desist, a high proportion of them are exclusively same-sex attracted. There has been a recent trend of straight girls transition that never used to exist. The demographic least likely to experience gender dysphoria has quickly become the most likely to experience gender dysphoria.

So instead of the question being: what do we do with people who have gender dysphoria, the real question is why do some people with gender dysphoria fail to desist? Desistance is totally natural & cures dysphoria, while transition doesn't. So why not encourage desistance, instead of transition?

Also, knowing the greater context, if you come across a girl who says she has gender dysphoria & wants to be a boy, what situation would transition actually make sense? If she is a lesbian, you know that she is likely just going through a phase that predominantly affects homosexuals. If she is straight, you know she is likely just a victim of a modern trend; a social contagion. So in neither case would it make sense to medically transition her.

The term 'gender dysphoria' makes no sense. If it's dysphoria (the opposite of euphoria, a type of depression) then it is a mental disorder. If gender is not sex, but the social constructs of masculinity & femininity, then the "disorder" would be limited to clothing, behaviours, pronouns, not their sex. So why treat it as it as if there is something wrong with their perfectly healthy body? Why create a hormonal imbalance where none previously existed? Why amputate healthy body parts? Why not treat a mental disorder like a mental disorder? It clearly should have been called 'sex dysmorphia', or something like that, but even then, the cure to dysmorphia is not cosmetic surgery or chemical castration.

The medical industry is treating "gender dysphoric" children the way they used to treat children with DSDs. Sex reassignment surgery was wrong in the case of intersex people & no less wrong in the case of people with a cross-gender identification.

Social transition often leads to medical transition, & legal transition, so it doesn't stop at pronoun usage, typically. I would advise against it.

Ask yourself this question. What's your sexual orientation? Would you date the sex that you're not attracted to just because of their completely undetectable self-identification?

There is more to sex than genitals. E.g. both men & women have arms, but their arms are different. Every part of the body can easily be sexed, the vast majority of the time.

There is more to being female or male than sex – socialisation has a huge impact too. Every man is by nature & nurture male, just as every woman is by nature & nurture female. What else is there other than nature & nurture?

If a man is only attracted to women & feminine men then he is is bi-curious. Studies show that men attracted to trans-womxyn are on the bisexual scale (just not fully bisexual) compared to their straight counterparts.

What is "femininity" with regards to attraction though? To some men femininity is the exaggeration of secondary sex characteristics, to others it's neoteny. The former may prefer voluptuous women (non-white guys lol), while the latter prefer East Asian women (white guys for some reason lol, they'd probably prefer 9-14 year olds if it wasn't illegal "dOeS tHaT mAkE tHeM pAEdOpHiLeS?" it makes them sick).

Are you really this confused?

Heterosexuality is a retronym. It hasn't got the integrity that homosexuality has got.

Feminists who are critical of the notion that sex work is empowering are drawing their conclusions from the average sex worker i.e. trends. Conversely "sex positive" feminists only look ar exceptions: sex workers who don't have pimps, usually have an education & therefore a choice. Clearly the latter are "sex worker exclusionary".

'Man' used to just mean human, but on some level it still does. If I tell you about a person I met, without mentioning whether they are male or female you will imagine a man. If I say the word 'kid', you are going to imagine a male kid, bc by imagining a gender-neutral kid you imagined a male kid. That means that male is gender neutral & gender neutral is male.

Every word is culturally-contaminated. Yes, the denotation of 'man' is still adult human male. Nature recognises two sexes, but society only made one gender: femininity. 'Masculinity' is just what our culture considers positive, neutral, as well as the extreme opposite of femininity (basically everything, except femininity). 'Masculinity' is a word for something that doesn't really exist. Creating a label for "masculinity" is like creating a label for all the colours of the rainbow put together, except pink.

Too be honest, I think if "homogenderal" & "romantic orientation" ever became mainstream it might just help acceptance of the LGB community.

I strongly suspect a huge part of mainstream acceptance of this "transgender" identity thing, even going so far as calling their kids trans, is because the self-ID movement changed the name from transSEXUAL to transGENDER. As a result parents would prefer to think of their kids as trans than gay (despite almost all early-onset dysphorics & kids with a cross-sex identification desisting & being gay), bc 'gay' has a sexual connotation in many people's minds, due to terms like homoSEXUALITY & sexual orientation.

Heck, it might even hinder the "trans kids" narrative, if an LGB possibility became more palatable to parents.

[–]SnowAssMan 8 insightful - 4 fun8 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

Gender is a social construct. Sexes & sexual orientations have biological underpinnings & can be measured. Transgender has never been proven to exist. Transgender people never used to exist even as a concept (in the modern trans movement sense of a "woman trapped in a man's body") & don't exist in other cultures. So what's there to erase? A modern, Western trend? It'd be like erasing emos. They'll erase themselves eventually, just like the emos did, once teens find something else to obsess over. Autogynaephiles exist & feminine/passive homosexuals exist, which are what trans people really are – types of men, not types of women. Not erasing women ≠ erasing GNC men.

False equivalence. Again, count the misogynistic slurs. You'll be at it all day. The only "slurs" you could possibly find for men, were made & used almost exclusively by men. Those insults (e.g. narcissist is not a slur, it's just an insult, like dumbass, dumbass) are aimed at men specifically, not trans people generally. Slurs against trans people aren't even allowed on this sub.

There are videos on youtube where trans adult human males are losing their minds over being called "sir" lol the fact that they can get so triggered by regular, innocuous words illustrates that they don't experience being called worse things, like genuine slurs.

Assigned at birth is a term related to people with DSDs. Trans people are not intersex, their sex is unambiguous, therefore there'd be no reason to assign them a sex. If you're holding a male baby, completely lacking in any congenital conditions, there is no reason to "decide" on their sex. The trans movement is appropriating the term because they think it helps undermine their sex.

ROGD is caused by social contagion & it's the reason all these middle-class, young het girls think they are trans nowadays, when this trend never existed within this demographic previously. It's obviously not biologically determined, otherwise what has changed about all these girls' biology?

If you had been male, you would not have had an issue with that. The only people who seem to have that issue are some feminine homosexuals & autogynacephiles. And the former group is mostly temporary since up to 95% desist.

Gender dysphoria is a Western thing, hence why the icd-11 doesn't refer to it as a "dysphoria" (a type of depression) & does not define it as "distressing":

"Some cultures have three defined genders: man, woman, and effeminate man. For example, in Samoa, the fa'afafine, a group of feminine males, are entirely socially accepted. The fa'afafine do not have any of the stigma or distress typically associated in most cultures with deviating from a male/female gender role. This suggests the distress so frequently associated with GID in a Western context is not caused by the disorder itself, but by difficulties encountered from social disapproval by one's culture"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_dysphoria

"Some contemporary Zapotec peoples in Mexico embody the traditional third gender role known as muxe. They consider themselves to be "muxe in men's bodies," who do the work that their culture usually associates with women. When asked by transgender researchers in 2004 if they ever considered surgical transition, "none of the respondents found the idea interesting, but rather strange" as their essence as muxe is not dependent on what type of body they are in."

"Compared to the DSM-5, the ICD-11 replaces the state of distress associated with that incongruence by the terms dislike or discomfort with less psychopathological connotations. In addition, only two diagnostic criteria must be met. This diagnosis could, therefore, be fulfilled without wanting to get rid of the primary and secondary sexual characteristics of the felt gender. Feeling dislike with the primary or secondary sexual characteristics, along with the desire to be treated and accepted as a person of the felt gender, would be sufficient to make the diagnosis of gender incongruence and would not imply the desire to undergo medical-surgical interventions to achieve a gender confirmation."

The reason GC generally knows more about this topic than QT is because we are the atheists, while you are the theists. Most of us started out QT, but then we read a little too much.

GC: Why is there more focus on trans women than trans men? by Genderbender in GCdebatesQT

Kind of obvious isn't it? Men in women's spaces is the problem. E.g. men's sports, toilets, prisons etc. were already unisex. Anyone can use/join them. It's the female spaces where men aren't allowed. There is actually no such thing as a "men's space", so women using them doesn't affect anyone except themselves. It's for their own good not to use them, not men's.

Also, practically everyone here was on reddit, on feminist subs. We all got expunged &/or our subs banned because some men decided that a movement dedicated to examining & fighting against sexism wasn't affirming their self-identification as "valid women", due to feminist analysis far too often acknowledging the existence of sex – which is the height of transphobia, didn't you know?

I doubt there are any transgender females who want to be in men's prisons lol but the trans-movement, like any movement, is androcentric, which in their topsy-turvy world would probably be called transgynocentric, or something equally ridiculous. So they don't care that changing rights to be based on felt-gender will actually be detrimental to the female members (the vast majority, but clearly a social minority) of their community.

Heck, it's mostly trans men who insist people use terms like "pregnant people" and "menstruators"

Wrong. The pressure is coming from the male ones. They just blame the female ones. The female ones generally keep out of everyone's way. The homosexual ones aren't as hostile either. The main issue are the het male trans – the most dogmatic, obnoxious & relentless ones with the most entitlement & least legitimacy.

Barring the white ones, "transgender people" are just feminine homosexuals in every culture on the damn planet.

All: Why do a lot of trans people insist that being non binary or trans has nothing to to with stereotyoes, and then suddenly it really is about stereotypes? by questioningtw in GCdebatesQT

Why are we all saying "gender stereotypes", when there is a name for that: masculinity & femininity? If you limit the conversation to "stereotypes" then the argument will go on forever. Stick to masculinity & femininity. The very least every man who identifies as a woman does is use feminine pronouns, a feminine name, but usually also having a feminine hairstyle & feminine clothes.

Trans activists talk about gender all day long, but they are allergic to the words masculinity & femininity – even though that's what gender (as a construct) refers to. Clearly they think of female & femininity as synonymous, which is how someone who is feminine & male can be "female" & somehow not male.

They like to pretend that male & female & masculinity & femininity don't exist. And that all there is is self-identification. They replace the definition of male & female, man & woman, gender & gender identity with the non-existent definition of self-identification.

Reddit claims to have fired Ashton/Aimee by EveSerpent in GenderCritical

What? Reddit fired Aimee??? Reddit is transphobic! If any sub had done this, we all know it'd get banned. So when can we expect r/announcements to get banned for being exclusionary, or whatever?

Not all men

I don't think that black gay men are more likely to transition. The higher up the class ladder you are the more neurotic you're going to end up being. Paraphilia like Autogynaephila are a symptom of that.

All the girls in Irreversible Damage are that same demographic: heterosexual, white, middle-class, but they are the female half of the phenomenon. Outside the West transexuals are almost never heterosexual (while in the West most are) & none are binary, since they are not referred to as either men or women. So when some heterosexual binary transgender person tries to tell us their kind have aways existed, it's just a lie.
