Lessons in how to "walk like a woman."

This ad for Gender Transition Coaching showed up on a local website:

A new 20” video teaching posture, stance and walking for Male to Female clients.

Over 20 years, “teach me how to walk like a female” has been one of my top client requests. Research revealed many online training videos on this subject. None of which followed healthy, safe, or physical therapist approved methodology. Until “Walking Femme.” Coach [name redacted] has 20 years’ successful experience working with youth and adults. Virtual sessions are available. A member of WPATH, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, she is affiliated with [local university] Medical’s Child and Adolescent Gender Care group. Her B.A. in Communication and M.A. in public relations led her to extensive nonverbal research. Her methods are data driven and evidenced based. She teaches gender-centric behaviors associated with male and female presentation.

Does this sound to anyone else like some society lady's Finishing School for Girls from the 1950s? Yes, let's teach everyone "gender-centric" behaviors so we can all behave like stereotypes. If you ARE a woman, as they insist, why do you have to be trained to know how to be one?

And I guess a B.A. in Communication qualifies you to encourage children and adolescents to transition. Can you imagine someone advertising their services offering to train your kids how to be gay or lesbian?

The ad says

She teaches gender-centric behaviors associated with male and female presentation.

Which really means, She teaches how to act in accordance with sexist clichés. "Gender-centric" = based on sex stereotypes.

They can't be "women" without gender stereotypes. Imagine paying someone to help you walk.

(never mind actual female skeletons, with their greater Q angles, wider pelvis and lower centres of gravity.)

It says that none of the videos on how to walk like a girl followed healthy or safe methodology...how dangerous can walking be?

I guess you could twist your ankle trying to walk in high heels.
