Narcissistic Personality Disorder 101: Triangulate. If someone attacks your fragile self-image, set out to destroy that person by any means possible.

Also, do you think most actual cis men would have taken screenshots and sent them to the boss? No way.

You're right, she's acting like a petty mean girl.

Most men would not want to tell their boss (or anyone) that they got rejected because of male pride. But I guess she wouldn't understand that . . .

If an actual man did this he would be recognized as a sex pest and a pathetic laughing stock.

Is there no law that protects workers in anglo countries? Can you really get someone fired for this, or is she dreaming?

[–]julesburm1891 21 insightful - 2 fun21 insightful - 1 fun22 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Given that it’s America, #MeToo still has relevance, and the boss is probably also straight, I’d wager it’s Miss Catfish that’s getting fired

I can speak for the U.S. since I work in HR here. It's not likely she'll get fired for this unless there's some other mitigating circumstances we're not being made aware of in this post. It can also depend on where they work and that place's culture - an office job in a halfway decent company will almost certainly not fire her. I also doubt a retail job, warehouse position, or any other blue collar job I can come up with off the top of my head would fire her for being 'transphobic' either. Essentially what happened here is a bad ending to a workplace romance*, and unless she works in a crazy liberal city for a 'progressive' company her chances of termination are very small.

The fact that she thinks she'll be able to get her co-worker fired is what's truly crazy to me.

*This is how HR will look at it; on a personal level I find it beyond loathsome.

[–]Nani 20 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 0 fun21 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Much of the US anyway has "at will" employment laws, so you can get fired for any reason.

[–][deleted] 20 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 0 fun21 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It really depends on the situation. If this were a public chat then it's possible due to at will hiring. However since the trans person was recording a private conversation I don't think anything will happen and if it does, it will be against the trans person for recording a private conversation.

[–]JulienMayfair 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

was recording a private conversation

Which reminds me that the legality of doing so is highly dependent on state law. In some U.S. states, secretly recording a supposedly private communication is illegal.

Hopefully the ex doesn’t get fired. But that depends on the company and the region, as well as the country. For example, if they were in central Florida working for a Florida-based company, I’d say that the ex would have nothing to worry about. But if they were working for Google in San Francisco, then yes, the ex-girlfriend is fucked.

[–]julesburm1891 38 insightful - 2 fun38 insightful - 1 fun39 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I heard reality slap that pretender from halfway around the world.

  1. It’s awful that she raped another woman. I feel awful for her and hope she’s okay.
  2. It’s fucking hilarious she sent her boss screenshots from a personal account she’s not supposed to be logged into that give receipts of her catfishing and raping a woman. We aren’t so far in the woke nightmare that someone’s going to get fired for being mad about being raped. On the contrary, the rapist is more likely to get sacked.

It's not like this can backfire spectacularly...

"You see, I not only raped, but also stalked the shit out of her as well. I'm the victim, me and no one else!"

Notice the 'I'm going to report it to the manager boss' routine displayed here.

She might ~identify~ as a man, but still acts like a Karen stereotype.

Also this smells like a fanfic.

How interesting!

Yeah, everything from the 'I only care about men if they have a penis' (she wouldn't be calling her a man if it were a private conversation) to 'and everybody laughed' screams fake.

On a side note: wouldn't most straight women find fishy a man refraining from posting a dick pick when direcly solicited to do so? Wouldn't be this a huge red flag?

[–][deleted] 34 insightful - 1 fun34 insightful - 0 fun35 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Why in the fuck would you screenshot proof of raping a coworker and then send it to your boss?

[–]JulienMayfair 19 insightful - 1 fun19 insightful - 0 fun20 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

. . . because you're so far up your own ass in terms of trans ideology that, in your mind, you can do no wrong.

Clout chasing and ~validation~.

There's also the possibility of this being a fanfic, this or the author is an utter moron.

"Boss, I'm trans and Stacy won't have sex with me anymore. She used to because she thought I was male, but I'm trans so I didn't correct her so now she's upset and is talking shit about me, which is transphobic. She also regrets having sex with me because I lied about who I am because I'm trans and nobody can tell at all. Here's some screenshots I took because I stalked her private group chat where she told her close friends I was trans without my permission. Please fire her for no longer consenting to sex with me, a trans person, and for being a transphobe."

This didn't happen and if it did it wasn't anywhere close to what the OP is saying. If OP wasn't trans and we weren't in [current year], this would probably be a jealous lesbian upset a bi girl went after a man instead of her. I highly doubt she would be sending anything to her boss about it.

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

We don't know it didn't happen and I've seen narcissists do crap quite similar to this, so I hate to say it, but it is within the realm of possibility. They really are that lacking in insight and empathy.

What is she, like 8? I can just picture her running up to the teacher and pulling on her skirt to tattle. Since when do adults handle their interpersonal relationship problems by running to the nearest authority figure to try and get their partner in trouble?

[–]hellonumpty 18 insightful - 3 fun18 insightful - 2 fun19 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

I really hope the boss goes, "And what do you want me to do about it?"

I mean, if I'm reading it right, the person didn't actually send the '"transphobic abuse" to "him" but her friends, in a private discussion that "he" just happened to see. I've always been self employed so I don't know how workplaces would handle this but surely it's not really a work place matter?

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 16 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 0 fun17 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I'd be seriously considering firing the FTM. The maturity and ethical problems going on here would be sufficient for me, at least in an at-will state, to consider termination. I wouldn't want to roll the dice on that employee being ethical in other contexts later, if they can't be ethical in this one now.

Tolerating men is not worth it without a dick

Why would she say that unless she saw you as exactly what you claim to be- a man with no dick? If this is what passes for transphobia these days, we are all completely fucked.

[–]Femaleisnthateful 14 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 0 fun15 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's truly scary to me that this is a thing and that this transman's ploy to destroy the life of a girl he deceived for months will quite possibly work.

There's a similar post over on r/gendercritical about a transwoman catfishing a guy and trying to figure out how to maintain the subterfuge.

These people lie and decieve, they commit rape by deception as you point out, and they're allowed to frame themselves as the victim.

This will ultimately only backfire on transpeople as more and more people are harmed by getting involved with them.

[–]Virginia_Plain 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I hope this is fake. If this woman is any way disciplined, she would be able to successfully sue for sexual harassment: professional retaliation for turning down someone's advances is illegal. I am curious how many people have/will try this in the future, trying to get co-workers fired under the guise of "discrimination." Will there be employers who take the bait? And will there be judges who rule that there is, in fact, a hostile work environment created by someone not wanting to date due to gender identity, race, or some other factor, something which trumps another person's ability to say no?

Edit: This might sound hyberbolic, but I remember reading an article about racial preferences on dating apps which stated that the "intimate sphere" was a "frontier" in civil rights. The trans movement is playing footsie with the idea of putting it out in public that it is wrong to discriminate based on trans status, only to walk it back with "no one is asking that, you are insane!" when called on it. There is going to be a mainstream, widely observed incident where it is put forward boldly and unapologetically. I am sure of it.

On the surface that looks like sexual harassment.

No. It is sexual harassment. She’s trying to get someone fired for not sleeping with her.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

But if you did have a dick and was trans, maybe she wouldn’t have reacted that way or not.

I have a feeling that a flaccid flesh tube made of forearm skin isn't what she's looking for when she says she only likes men for the dick.

Butch incel cannot comprehend that a normal woman would be into her with her perma-drag. Not sure about bi women but most straight women absolutely abhor the thought of dating a man with no penis, straight women are even more selective about their men, bi women in woke circles virtue-signal for the degenerates but never actually date them, so the traniban only end up with male chasers as prospective mates. Had this woman retained being a woman she would still have found another woman to date her, but no she juices up on hormones and becomes exponentially more ugly. When the fairer sex transitions to the not so fairer sex, the results are never appealing. I have seen many MTFs who pass well but FTMs always end up looking like the local creep, which sane gay man or straight woman would be into that tho?

[–]Elvira95Viva la figa 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Some butch lesbians got serious dysphoria. I've read the butch sub, some of them don't want to touched and like to have the dildo sucked, as they wished they had a dick. Still theyre not trans, but almost.

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I've seen a couple of FTMs who looked all right as guys (not including whatever was in their pants, which I knew nothing about). Can't supply the proof just now, but it happens. Still not a demographic that overlaps with my dating pool.

Do not know, sounds like a troll to me. Not the rape by deception part, because women who pretended to be men, have raped women and minor girls by deception, and some were jailed for it,in the UK at least. It's the screenshot send to the boss part.

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

Sadly this could easily be a thing that someone actually did, if that someone was a narcissistic abuser; they typically have the emotional maturity of a young child. It's likely a CYA move because the deception actually did not have no consequences, so the abuser decided to strike first. They all do this shit. The very second they are called on their shit they whip out the nukes to try to make the other person look like the perp.

And yes, to any reasonably-rational, mature adult, this looks like utter nonsense because to us, it is so easy to see how immoral and unethical this is AND how it is likely to backfire.

That isn't a complexity of thought or self-reflection this type of abuser engages in. They just want to win at all costs. (Remember that guy who was recently living in the White House? Same deal. What we have here is a child in an adult's body, and that child is angry because the other kid doesn't want to play in the same sandbox anymore now that our perp child has been mean.)

You have picked the strangest hill to die on that there is, by trying to make something out of a humorous euphemism.

I can only assume that you supported Trump, else you would not be so incredibly offended by a matter-of-fact description of the location of his previous residence, which also happens to express humor via exasperation. Move along.

You really can't. Being annoyed by childish behavior is not a "Trump supporter" trait, it's a general adult trait. And snorting incredulously at someone being stupid in my replies once a day or so is really not the sign of incredible soul-scarring offense you want it to be lmao.

How is that weird? You are a MAN, right? Men can get rejected for having small penises, nevermind no penises.

And even if she is Bi, she's still looking for a man to date so you better have all the associated body parts and proportions. Lord knows there's no shortage of male competition out there..

Idk if it's stated anywhere but this could easily be considered as "hacking" in US legal systems. She could be making a case for a prosecutor to file real criminal charges . "Rape by deception" isn't actually a crime in the US but unauthorized access to a computer system is.
